First visit to Redwood City, had a doctors appointment and wasn't sure where to stay. The staff at this hotel were friendly and very helpful. Great to have a Whole Foods Market next door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place to explore the Bay Area"
Very good place to stay while exploring Bay Area, even if you don't have a car. Very close to Caltrain, so there is good access to the San Francisco and Stanford. Good bet if you want to avoid traffic jams on freeway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Friendly staff that were very warm and welcoming.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was ok, but noisy. The breakfast was minuscule, stale and not very appetizing. Go to Whole Foods or Max.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location for me"
family near by so this was perfect for us. We stayed in the courtyard surrounding the pool. A little chilly to swim, but the pool looked nice. There is a Whole Foods next door, and several restaurants within a block including a German Biergarden (which we visited). This place is more like a traditional motel than an Inn, but they did have coffee in […] the AM and a small continental breakfast. Will definitely stay there again if visiting family. Had to check out early because job got delayed. Had to pay for night I did not get to use. Felt ripped off. Front deck person totally did not care.Genuine Expedia guest review
"OK for the price."
Everything in the area was dramatically overpriced. Chose this hotel only because the rate was low and I needed a room while a family member had surgery at a local hospital. Served the purpose, but not an impressive place. Not great, but OK. Window AC/Heating unit is loud and blows air up into the curtains. So your choices are a) flapping curtains b) […] open curtains (no privacy) or c) no climate control. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Overall... Not recommended! The Manager was so rude, unpleasant and even threatening us! What a bad experience! I was scratching the whole night because Im sure those sheets were dirty and have mites! Nightmare! We will never forget that manager... Very unpleasant and rude!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate for my needs."
This was a 1 night stay for a 2 day seminar. It was closest to the location. I am not a fan of window a/c. Other than that, the room was OK. The breakfast was minimalist (toaster waffles, coldcereal, bananas and apples.) Overall, adequate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convenient spot... I could have paid less than the Hotels.com rate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Noisy neighborhood, super cramped parking, sagging bed, Clean room though. I was there to sleep though, and that proved difficult.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Much better than expected"
I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the conference I was attending. It was very convenient. Although, old, the owners keep the hotel spotless. I felt safe. Strip mall across the street was perfect. I would definitely stay again, should the need arise. Skip the continental breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Second time I've stayed there. This time Monday-Thursday. Totally uneventful as a motel stay should be. Took advantage of the grocery store next door and the included refrigerator in the room. Everything just worked fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Pleasant People. Well located."
Good location for access to Stanford Medical Center and Starbucks.Genuine Expedia guest review
"it was very clean"
there weren't towel racks; the heater wouldn't turn off, we just about roasted in the middle of the night, the continatial breakfast was the skimpiest ever. It advertised there was a DVD player, which there wasn't.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was close to the Cal Train and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very light and disappointing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will stay there again"
I will more than likely stay there again. I deduct one star from my rating due to the faulty Internet access. So bring a Mifi if you need reliable access. Apart from that it's pretty standard motel quality. However, it seemed like everything was recently renovated. Paint was fresh, nothing was broken, bathroom was spotless, etc. Breakfast consisted […] of toasted eggos and coffee. You may want to head over to Starbucks across that street or somewhere else if you are in need of something more solid. Walking from the train station is an easy 5-10 minute walk. My room came with a mini fridge and a small microwave. There's a grocery store next door and a strip mall on the other side of the road (note, there's lots of traffic during rush hour but I had no problems with noise). There was also a nice flatscreen TV with cable channels in my room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value, good service."
Friendly, attentive staff, good breakfast. Room had faint smell of bleach - which I like - and was clean, if a tad thread-worn. I would stay here again. The area near this location has a nice nite life as well, though it may be a bit rough for some on foot, after dark, so the big flat screen TV was welcome.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great staff every quite. room was clean. Maides work to keep it nice. next to shoping center. Will stay there on are next trip. Thank to allGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just right for me."

"Last minute booking"
I needed a hotel room in Redwood City on a Sunday night for business early Monday am. I used the expedia app and ended up here. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Should I find myself in need again I'd happily book a room here.Genuine Expedia guest review
"was not what was in description"
when we looked at photos it showed a big bathtub, nice rooms.... when we showed up it was like a place people that do drugs stay at. No big tubs, the sheets were from 1950's, not what hotel I would ever spend $100 for. When my husband and I put all of our stuff in the room we went for a walk. Only to come back to our room open and the staff inside our […] room doing mantaince on it!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than expected!!"
We were plesantly surprised to find that America's Best Inn lived up to it's name! We have no complaints and will definitely stay there whenever we need lodging in Redwood City. The property was immaculate, the staff friendly, our room comfortable and clean, onsite parking, free coffee and breakfast pastries, and the location within walking distance […] of everything one could possibly want ... shopping, entertainment, eating, downtown services, transportation, etc. Five stars!! "Great family stay"
We had a great stay. Spent one week with 2 small kids. The room was very clean and they provided a pack & play that looked brand new! Everything surpassed our expectations. Looks recently updated, nice looking pool, and comfy beds. The breakfast was minimal but fine for a quick start to the day. Would absolutely stay here again. It was quiet & managers […] were very friendly. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
everything was "OK" but the rooms were a little tired. Probably the biggest turn off was that the office was closed by 9PM so check in was done through a little window - so maybe they were all secure - but it sure did not make me feel secure...kinda defined their priorities...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
late checkin by very rude man. room was not clean. checked for bugs just to be sure. overall, a real dump. husband chose as was cheap. get what you pay for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and affordable"
I chose this motel because of its location and price. It was clean and the staff were courteous. But it is affordable because it is not fancy. The room was small and had a double bed; the bathroom had no counter space. Most people who travel to the area are on expense accounts. If you are too, then there are lots better choices for you. If you are on […] a tight budget, this is a clean place to stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I have been there before. If I return to the area in the future, I will consider this hotel as an option.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Stay for the price"
Great place to stay for a quick night. Good price and rooms were decent. Surrounding neighborhood is not that great but no issues sleeping, although you can hear the upstairs rooms all night long.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Across the road from shopping mall and Caltrain. Facilities are adequate. Friendly family owned motel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This is better than any other 2-star"
Great choice!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed for a week while at a conference. Clean room friendly staff, nothing special or fancy about the place, but the location was very nice so close to downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, quiet next to World Market and a small shop"
Cont. breakfast WAS POOR., especially the coffee. other wise it was ok.Genuine Expedia guest review
The motel was fine for a place to sleep for one night. The room was clean; there was a modest motel-style breakfast. Whole Foods and Safeway are nearby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient place to stay, friendly staff"
Great stay. Being just next to Whole Foods was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and provided tips and advice about the area. I would go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"quiet and clean"
It is quite good. Close to major highways, Standford, and many good restaurants.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place in silicon valley main street"
Room was large with refrigerator and microwave. Quiet in back even though on main street. Lots of good food/shopping across the street, so great place to stay if need to be in the Silicon Valley and want a simpler motel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Horrible Management and Area"
Definitely not worth $120/night for 2 double beds. Hotel needs a facelift and management needs replaced. Female manager was walking around with no shoes on in the front reception area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very bad service its very dutyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"One night stay"
The room was very comfortable and had been recently painted so there was still a lingering paint odor, but that was not a problem as I ran the air conditioning. Location was excellent for my purposes. Whole Foods was a few feet away so I picked up food. A variety of restaurants were also nearby with varying costs. Shops were immediately across the street […] in a small strip mall. Hosts were very nice and helpful. Parking was easy. The only downside was that there is no elevator but there were only two floors. Pack lightly. Easy access to the freeway. It takes only a few minutes to San Francisco. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyed the Stay"
Nice place to stay. Staff is nice & helpful. Rooms are clean. BYO stir stix & tea. Good thing there's a shopping center across the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
Small property, no elevator, VERY close to apartments behind it. Bed was terrible, my back ached all day. It was several miles down El Camino from Stanford Hospital (my reason for staying there), but the price was right. Service was not great, for example, I was trying to check in, and the desk clerk/manager took a call and pretty much ignored me until […] his wife came in and finished the transaction. I'd go somewhere else if I have to go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not so great"
I wish to office staff spoke better English. They were very difficult to understand, especially the wife. The place must be owned by a family, because every family member was in the office when I checked out the next day.Genuine Expedia guest review
"wasnt what was advertised"
guy at desk said there was no big bathtubs. bed was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. maids were extremely loud in the mornings.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was very convienent. Close to shops and resturantsand only 5 mies from Stanford Children's Hospital. Very quiet also. Will go back again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Conveniently located accommodations!"
Easy, friendly check-in. Hotel was very closely located to our family, Caltrain and other businesses like Starbucks, WholeFoods Market and a bicycle shop. We will stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A good value hotel close to Menlo Park/Palo Alto"
The only problem with the room was that it was a little dusty upon my arrival but everything was cleaned thoroughly the following day. This is a good value hotel. The fact that it is within walking distance to the CalTrain is a major plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
