"Enjoyed the Stay"
Nice place to stay. Staff is nice & helpful. Rooms are clean. BYO stir stix & tea. Good thing there's a shopping center across the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
Small property, no elevator, VERY close to apartments behind it. Bed was terrible, my back ached all day. It was several miles down El Camino from Stanford Hospital (my reason for staying there), but the price was right. Service was not great, for example, I was trying to check in, and the desk clerk/manager took a call and pretty much ignored me until […] his wife came in and finished the transaction. I'd go somewhere else if I have to go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not so great"
I wish to office staff spoke better English. They were very difficult to understand, especially the wife. The place must be owned by a family, because every family member was in the office when I checked out the next day.Genuine Expedia guest review
"wasnt what was advertised"
guy at desk said there was no big bathtubs. bed was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. maids were extremely loud in the mornings.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was very convienent. Close to shops and resturantsand only 5 mies from Stanford Children's Hospital. Very quiet also. Will go back again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Conveniently located accommodations!"
Easy, friendly check-in. Hotel was very closely located to our family, Caltrain and other businesses like Starbucks, WholeFoods Market and a bicycle shop. We will stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A good value hotel close to Menlo Park/Palo Alto"
The only problem with the room was that it was a little dusty upon my arrival but everything was cleaned thoroughly the following day. This is a good value hotel. The fact that it is within walking distance to the CalTrain is a major plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Dead flies on bathroom floorGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Couple managing seemed very nice. I did not have a need for their services. However, at 6:35am I went to check out and the office was not open. This was not a big deal for me, but if was advertised as open at 6:30. This is a good hotel for business travelers. The towels were rather thin and most likely old.The room was clean. I would not recommend to […] couples or even parents traveling with children. The location was convenient as there is a Whole Foods across the street. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Clean safe hotel for the purpose of our visit"
The place has been recently updated and is very clean in all of the rooms. Good water pressure and nice hot showers. Close proximity to grocery store, coffee shops and a variety of foods. I've stayed there twice and would go again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, comfortable motel; rude, unhelpful staff"
Clean, reasonably well-appointed motel. Very rude owner-staff person. This seems to be the norm in this area, but is nevertheless unacceptable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good stay for the price, breakfast is just cold cereal and muffins so I was a little disappointed there but overall it did the job for what I needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a great visitGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and comfortable in SiValley"
I hate spending too much for a hotel when in Silicon Valley for business. Nice to be on Camino Real ... good dinner options just across the street in the shopping center ...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for Stanford visit"
For a lower-priced motel, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was, and that everything was in working order. It will be my go-to place to stay when I make my frequent visits to Stanford and the Palo Alto area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"needs inside upgrades"
The room was clean and the host was great, I wanted to like this place but the bed was not very comfortable and everything was just oldGenuine Expedia guest review
It is a budget hotel. It had a nice looking pool. The room air fan made noise at night. Breakfast was minimal.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It worked for us to get to Stanford appt."
Good parking and access to places to eat including a grocery store. Quiet......nice pool to use if warmer weather.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Once in a lifetime experience"
On very cold days windows were open and heater was off when I got it. I am an international traveller and did not wear much clothing...... Also the office was very smely, apparently the owners/managers have been cooking there in the office regularly for long time. Breakfast - almost nothing supplied.Genuine Expedia guest review
I have stayed here several times and am always very comfortable. The proprietors are lovely people, always very cheerful and helpful. I'll be back again soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"decent room close to Caltrain station"
This is a good, but basic, room - walk-up second floor rooms, exterior doors to each room. The room was kept clean, and did not have excessive wear and tear. It is located within a block of two major grocery stores, as well as the Caltrain station, and there is bus service across the street. The girl who was running the front desk when I checked in […] was extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, later in my stay, I went back to the office for something, and the person behind the counter was extremely rude and disrespectful, so much so that I prematurely terminated my stay and checked out a day earlier than planned. My other complaint is that the WiFi connection was very poor did not work at all over half of the times I tried to use it. On the plus side, the room was clean, and the heater worked well. "Good value when in the SFO area"
Just what I needed ... an inexpensive, clean hotel, with free WiFi near SFO and Redwood City for business. Needed to get a document printed, and clerk at front desk was happy to accommodate me. The shopping center across Camino Real has a Starbucks, CVS, and several restaurants that are just fine. Parking was easy. I'd stay again !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it was a little hard to understand the front desk. staff could be a little friendlier. Room was clean and but could use a little updating.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Stay on Second Floor"
Hotel is in a great location if you want to be near shops, good restaurants and a big movie theater. We stayed on the first floor and were awakened in the middle of the night to a loud personal encounter right above us. Luckily it only lasted a few minutes. Sounded like it was in the same room. Very thin ceiling/floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No frills but a clean comfortable room at a very good price for the area. Shopping area across the street very convenient for coffee (Starbucks inside Safeway) in the AM. Parking was tight but OK. Front desk staff both in the evening and AM friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value near Caltrain"
There was a slight cleaning spray odor the first night and the hot water temperature was not high enough during peak use; otherwise it was a great motel with a convenient location by the Caltrain station.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great if on a budget"
Nice Indian family owns the hotel. The service was amazing, the people the best, and I would stay here again because of them, not necessarily the property. The property is extremely well kept. The room was clean but boring. They didn't offer games or any fab'o TV channels so it was just being. If you are looking for just a room to sleep comfortably […] in then this is a good choice. Excellent location if you want to be near city center or the courthouse. This property for the price is really good, but compared to an Embassy Suites that may only be $30.00 more it can't compete. The Whole Foods across the Street (walking Street) is a huge plus. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location; Nearby Stores; Buses & Trains;"
First the not so good things - (Looks like a motel; No grand lobby; Old TV; Basic breakfast includes muffins, fruit, cereal, bread, juice & coffee); The GOOD things - (Great stores nearby include Barnes & Noble, Whole Foods & Safeway super markets, CVS, Old Navy, Pier 1 and more; Free WIFI; Public transportation include Buses called Samtrans, trains […] called Caltrains and there are shuttles to offices from trainstations; Clean baths; Safe neighborhood). Hillsdale mall is 10 mins away. Also, remember this is a 2 star hotel. Hope this info is helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK for short stay"
Not far from SF and Stanford; nice swimming pool but there is not a lot of choice for the breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cheap and pleasant"
My room was clean and comfortable. The traffic noise from El Camino Real was a bit bothersome at times. The WiFi signal was strong and the internet access seemed fast and responsive. The hot water was a bit inconsistent in the morning as guests took their showers. The included breakfast was danishes, cereal, toast, apples, OJ, and coffee. The coffee […] was inconsistent but generally weak. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice and clean for an inexpensive place to stay."
If you want a vacation, go to Hawaii! If you need a clean inexpensive place to crash for a night or two on the peninsula, this place will do the trick. Ask to stay in the building by the pool, just seemed more comfortable. The place was clean, conveniences were sufficient, and felt safe. Shopping and food within walking distance. Nice downtown nearby. […] I was in town for medical appointments and stayed two nights. I will use them again, Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Deal, Good stay"
The bed was extrememly firm, and the front desk lady was a bit rude, but other than that it was a decent stay. The room is clean, and the hotel was in walking distance of downtown Redwood City with shops, eateries, and a movie theater. I didn't partake in the continental breakfast, but from the looks of it, I wouldn't count on it to fill you up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Plumbing issues with the sink. Front Desk staff rude.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location for Kaiser patient"

When my wife went in to check out the attendant was apparently sleeping ing the back and finally came out and said "what!". She said just checking out and he replied with "well give me the key" Kind of rude.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were clean and with enough space. Hotel close to stores and restaurants. Walls were somewhat thin; we could hear the people next door as if they were in our room. Front desk called us for no reason at 9am to tell us checkout time was at 11am which we already knew. Otherwise everything was okay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to SF"
Nice and quiet motel just outside of SF. All the needed amenities. Close to Caltrain station and neighborhood stores. We'll be back!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The check in was quick and easy because of online reservation . The room was clean, comfortable and very pleasant to stay in. The room was quite and managed to get a good nights rest. Will definitely stay there again, if in the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location ...Great staff"
Hotel staff was great! room was very clean...close to downtown area...movie theatre, restaurants, grocery stores, clothing stores....etc. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I spent the week for a conference. The room was quiet, clean, fine. No frills, but no problems either. Good shower. Not bad A/C. A tad far from the university, but only about 15-20 minutes at rush hour, so that was okay, too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"New to the service industry"
It seemed to me that the front desk had little experience dealing directly with customers. It took them 10 minutes to check in the person before us. They made a man come down from his room to show him where on his room key sleeve they had written the wifi password. Although there were four other people behind the counter, no stopped to help us until […] the person serving the guest before us had finished. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"okay place to stay for the price"
The place was ok. It was just the unhelpful front desk staff that made staying here unpleasant. The price was great and the location was perfect for where we wanted to go.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't Stay here"
Rooms are small. The cramped two full size beds in a room that cannot handle them. The A/C in set off in a small room next to the bathroom and does not cool the room very well. The breakfast is what they have left over. It was a few pastries and two kids of cereal one day and what few pastries were left over and cereal the next day. The parking is horrible. […] You do not want to park in the back between the hotel and the apartments and the front parking lines are narrow. Now I cannot say what was going on in one of the rooms (208), the sign on the room was do not disturb and several different people were visiting the room and leaving shortly after. You beside what was going on. The neighborhood and apartments just behind would justify at least my thoughts. The only positive I would give it is a few blocks away is an area that has several shops and restaurants. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cute and accessible"
I liked this hotel - it was relatively cheap, included free breakfast and WiFi, it was ultra-accessible (right by the Caltrain station in downtown Redwood City), near a nice street strip of restaurants, and next-door to food stores (Safeway and Whole Foods). The hotel was somewhat old and motel-style, but pretty clean. Taxi access to airports was costly: […] $50 from SFO, $75 to SJC. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Stanford University"
The neighborhood is not great and the outside looks like it needs repair. Check-in was fine and parking easy. Went for dinner at a Johnny Rockets near-by and then stayed in our room. Did not try the breakfast the next morning. Sink in the bedroom made it difficult to let others sleep. Spider on the ceiling above the bed, and just didn't give a feel […] of cleanliness. Thin floors as the people above woke us at 4:30 am. The refrigerator in the room didn't work. Would not choose to stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
