Over all it was good. Since i was there for a n=oone night stay the area was not an issue, if i was there longer i would like to have been in a different area, but i felt the area to be safe, and that is what really counts

It was very easy for me to travel to the downtown US consulate for the visa interview. Just located across the street to the Banff trail ctrain station. And drops off in front of the consulate. Free breakfast helped in a great start of the day.Very friendly and informative hosts. just one hour from Banff Rocky Mountains. Beautiful place. Very good deal for me it was

I selected an upgrade room. It was nice though the furniture was dated. Bed was ok, not great, not bad. But the pillows! That's another story. Way too thick. And they were all the same, so I didn't have a choice of big, small, soft, hard.

"Really nice place to stay"
I was very happy on how nice the hotel was. Everything exceeded my expectations. It's not like the Ritz, but it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay there again!

"Pleasant stay"
The hotel was quite pleasant and well-run; the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a little uninspired, but okay. The neighbourhood is dreary, but the hotel can't be faulted for that, and it was conveniently close to my customer site. I'd happily stay there again.

We don't stay in motels all that often but this is THE BEST we've ever stayed in. Everyone was extremely nice and even called us to see if our room was satisfactory. Very clean. Bed was wonderful. Close to the airport but yet quiet.

"horrible shuttle ride"
Our AA flight arrived about 11pm. Immediately after we get out of customs we call the Hotel for shuttle pick up. They tell us to go to #11 where is van is waiting. We say "Ok wait for us we are going there now". So we go out head out of the Arrivals door marked #11, all the doors are marked in big numerals but the numbers don't match up with the shuttle […] pickup stall numbers outside. To be fair I also blame Calgary Airport for this...why bother marking the door exit numbers if they don't line up with the shuttle pick-up location numbers.? Is it to purposely mislead passengers not keenly familiar with your airport? So anyway once we get out door #11 we have to walk back 200 yards to stall #11. but when we get there NO VAN. we called and they said they just left, but another one will be there in about 30 minutes........! so it took us five minutes to get to the van pick up and they could not wait that long and left us there to wait. Me my wife and 6 year old daughter, its midnight in Calgary and we have been flying all day. Couldn't wait a couple more minutes..... Then when we finally get in the van there is another couple that will get droped of before us. About thirty minutes into the ride the driver is circling around a hotel, figures out it is the wrong place. then get back on the highway.... What??? he is LOST... it is almost 1am.. . Let see now. We booked the hotel because it was at the AIRPORT. In all from the time we walked out the airport until we arrived at the hotel, 2 HOURS.. !!! Read more

Hotel was convienient to the airport. We only stayed one night. The hotel was clean, quiet, the staff was pleasant, and the breakfast good.

"country Inn close to airport"
The Country Inn is clean, comfortable and close to the airport. The neighborhood is mainly Industrial with a number of cheap Chain restaurants nearby (no high end restaurants that I saw. The breakfast was mediocre at best when compared to similar budget hotels.

And when the printer in the business center lost its mind the clerk let me print from his front desk computer. Great service! And the Cactus restaurant across the street, his recommendation, was absolutely fantastic cuisine.

No problems. Room was modern, clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast is typical hotel "continental breakfast" fare. Not exciting but it's free. Employees very nice and helpful. Cookies at check-in. YUM!

Friendly staff, bright and clean foyer....all ammenities that I required were available and timely such as wake up call and airport shuttle. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was large and immaculate! Large flat screen TV was very nice to have even though I didn't have time to make use of it. I will definitely stay here again!
"quick stays"
we landed in Calgary and were picked up and brought to the hotel, advised on walking to dinner at what ended up as a nice restaurant. We went west the next day and returned the night before our flight and found the same conditions that night and again a ride to the airport in the morning. All was a nice experience.

"Pleasantly surprised"
The hotel wasn't in the fanciest area, but it was convenient to the airport, which is mainly what I needed. I didn't have high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised by the room, which was large, comfortable, and clean. The wi-fi was pretty slow, but it was free. A good hotel, ideal stay if arriving after a long flight. Poor A/C in room when the weather is hot though which is what the weather was like when we arrived. Staff are friendly, complimentary breakfast is real bonus and provides a great start to the day. Would recommend a stay but not in really warm weather

"nice room"
I took a two-queen suite, and it's really nice and spacious. There's another sofa bed available in the living room which is good.

Country Inn was very accommodating and friendly. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool and the great breakfast. We will be staying there again when we visit Calgary.

"great hotel but..."
...one thing thou lackest. The late night staff were unprofessional and not helpful. But that's it. Everything else was great. Nice room, great price, good location, but a bit tricky to find.

This was our 1st time staying at this hotel and we were very impressed and pleased with our stay! Every employee we saw (Front Desk, breakfast attendant, cleaning staff) was very friendly , smiling, and said hello! Registration was simple and fast as was check out. The hallways are wide and bright and everything that we saw was very clean and fresh […] smelling. Checkout is an hour later than most hotels (12:00pm) and the pool/spa area stays open to 12:00am for adults.The included breakfast was very nice with a wide interesting variety and the attendant was always present ensuring everything was well stocked. The rooms were very quiet which was somewhat surprising being so close to the airport. Approximately 15 minutes after check-in the front desk phoned just to make sure that the room was satisfactory (nice touch and it was). Parking was sufficient and well lit. The hotel was easy to get to from the Transcanada Hiway and altho close to the airport it is a bit of a meander to get there. Lots of interesting restaurants in the area and relatively close to shopping (Cross Iron Mills Mall) The price was very reasonable and perhaps even a little less than other properties that don't measure up to this one. We used to always stay at a hotel on MacLeod Trail, however, this will definitely be our 1st choice from now on. Read more

ideal for overnight stay near airport prior to returning home. Complimentary breakfast, pool etc. Reliable free shuttle to and from airport, and nearby public transport to downtown
