I would stay here again. The location was very convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was nice. The complimentary shuttle was also appreciated!

Had to keep the very noisy heater running all night and then it would get way too hot. then too cold, then too hot. There was no thermostat to monitor it. Trash pick up (on the street) cam at 5:00 or so. Empty bottle under the bed that was not ours. Not a great stay but the check-in people were very friendly and expedient.

Dusty, old feel and look. Carpet seemed like it was not clean. A/C blew dust out when turned on. Not sure if it was one of those "green" places that doesn't change your sheets unless you ask, but I didn't see the note other places leave.

This was our second extended stay at this hotel. Our high opinion is based on several factors. First, while the rooms are neither new nor lavish, they are clean and quite comfortable. In particular, the mattresses are excellent (not a small consideration). Second, the free parking and Panera on premise are a plus. In town working for GEEKS WHO DRINK (yes, we're a real company). I found the Quality Inn - Oakland met all my needs. Free parking, decent WiFi and close to everywhere I wanted to be. My bed was comfy, the heat/AC worked fine. I'd gladly stay here again.

The front desk staff was helpful but each of the 3 people I encountered all seemed bored, distracted, or just not interested in being there. One of the guys was texting while checking me in. Our daughter attends the University of Pittsburgh, it is very convient to stay here. The location is great on and off route 376. It is an ok hotel, nothing special. They are nice at the front desk....put not very friendly. There is coffee in the lobby, so this is a plus.

This hotel is hard to beat for location, convenience and price. Parking and Internet are free, there is a Panera Bread on the first floor, it is centrally located, just off the Parkway East in the Oakland neighborhood, which is the university district, walkable to Pitt and Carnegie Mellon.

I was charged twice for this room. Once by hotels.com n the other by quality inn. The beds were hard, woke up with the worst back pain, and there was a hole about 5 inches wide above the vanity in the bathroom. I would like my money back as promised.

it's an OK hotel, but it doesn't try to have Class at all! which is okay, if you are looking for a place to stay, the hotel has a gym, but the way to the gym passes by the Private areas of the workers and the industrial washing machines, the hotel has no Lobby, it doesn't try to be facny which is okay if you are not that type.

The hotel is located within a few minutes walk to restaurant/business areas and 15 minutes walk to Carnegie Museum. The staff members are nice and a shuttle bus service is available to University/Museum areas. The air conditioner is placed too close to the bed and was bothering. .
