I stay at this hotel all the time. Everytime I stay within an hour of check in a manager always barges in my room. That is my biggest problem with this place... I may not stay there ever again bc it is ridiculous! The stay was very good. The room was adequate and set up well. Only two complaints. The Bathroom Sink had a poor flow. It did not drain well and it was not running water into the sink directly. It got the sink shelf wet every time you turned on the water. They said they would fix it but we never saw anyone work on it. The place is more like a glorified flop house than a hotel. The grab and go breakfast is a joke. Rooms only "cleaned" once a week. My bathroom appeared to have a poorly cleaned floor with dried vomit or excrement next to the tub. I do not recommend!

The room was dirty... There was hair in our bath tub which made me feel uncomfortable to stay the night .. Made me question if my sheets were clean.. Very little toilet paper left on the roll. We went to check out the next morning and there was no one at the front desk. I waited for about 3 min. Decided to make a cup of coffee and eat a banana.. Still […] no one at front desk.. For what it's worth I was initially given a room where there was still paint or varnish drying on the furniture. They of course gave us a new room but I'd advise anyone staying in the near future to double check before setting anything on the furniture. They said it should not have happened but since it did once, beware. Hotel is difficult to find using GPS especially since there is another Extended Stay less than a mile away; however, the stay was pleasant once we arrived. Room was clean and staff was professional and courteous.

Was in town for the weekend and needed a place to stay. Took me an hour to find the hotel, it has a Lee Jackson Hwy address but it's off the beating path, in the Fair Oaks Mall parking lot. Room was kind of outdated and dirty. The toilet was so loud and powerful it could have sucked down a whole roll of toilet paper if needed. We were fortunate in that the Hotels.com staff helped us find the pet friendly Extended Stay America during the significant power outages as a result of powerful thunderstorms that blew through the DC region on Friday night, 29 June. The Extended Stay America management at the Fairfax hotel was very helpful, despite very difficult circumstances.

While the price is reasonable the rrom was small. What was called a Queen size bed was more like a full size mattress. Our room needed updating. The location was great with mall very close at hand. Good neighborhood that felt like a safe area. The staff was helpful and made good recommnedations for dining.

...which in this case, wasn't much. This is very old hotel, and even my child noticed the peeling paint in the bathroom and the rust in the sink. Couple that with the burns on the countertop and I was left with the feeling that this is a hotel in need of some work. Outdated, small TVs, hard beds and pillows that are like pancakes just add to the misery. […] The desk clerk was entirely unhelpful, not even capable of providing directions to the Safeway less than two minutes away or of producing decaffeinated coffee. Also, the information about the hotel doesn't tell you that they only clean the rooms if you're staying more than seven days. Oh, and they charge for wireless access... The only positive is the location (essentially in the parking lot of the Fair Oaks Mall and within a stone's throw of I-66), and the kitchenette does mean you can fix your own food. Of course, there's only one small table with one chair, so only one person can sit down and eat at a time.... If you want cheap, this is it. If you want an updated hotel or any amenities, forget about it. Read more

Poor maintenance, water under floor in bathroom, floor in bathroom raised and peeled back. Bathroom fan clogged with lint and dirt. crome scoured through to brass underneath in bathroom sink. Cigarette burns on countertop in small kitchenette.

I needed a place to stay, last minute, close to Manassas during the recent 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Manassas. Everything else was booked or was way too expensive. I didn't need a continental breakfast, just a basic hotel...that's what I got. Didn't really need the kitchenette either as I has no use for it, but it did come with everything I […] would have needed if I actually needed to use it. No frills but nothing really wrong with the hotel either. Everything was pretty quiet. I only dealt with hotel staff three times over a four night stay, once to check in, once to check out, and once to inquire about a small tube of toothpaste, which I had forgotten. The hotel is located directly across from a large shopping mall so access to creature comforts is good. Traffic is light in the evening and not a noise factor. Hotel does not provide breakfast options so you need to prepare for your own light breakfast supplies or go over to the mall.

The front desk attendants were rude, and impolite. They had the air condition system turned off and the windows opened, and there was a thick, disgusting smell all around the hotel. I liked the location, the facilities in general were very comfortable, but the hotel was very poorly kept.
