"Hotel not up to par"
The hotel is run down. The swimming pool area is tiny. Would not recommend hotel for family. Rooms are tiny and not well maintained.

"Comfort Inn-Alamogordo, NM"
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The bed however was VERY hard and it was difficult to sleep.

"Superior to other hotels in town"
I stayed in Alamogordo 2 nights -- the first night at the Best Western across the street. This hotel is FAR superior in many aspects, but in cleanliness and quiet atmosphere to name the top 2. If you have a choice, stay here. The hotel has been remodeled and was quiet, which is far more than I can say about Best Western.

Excellent stay! We traveled for a high school football game and we were treated like royalty. Clean and friendly, right by the high school. Warm breakfast in the morning- not gourmet but great value for our money.
