Wonderful stay at St. Ermins. All staff were very efficient and helpful if we had questions. Excellent service. Beautiful hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to lay our head!"
Very nice hotel in a great location. Very quiet, and loved the courtyard. The Ovation could not have been better!Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was a quick walk (5-10 min )to Big Ben/Westminster Abbey and to Buckingham Palace. The hotel was around the corner from the St James tube stop. We had a double room with two bathrooms! So there was plenty of room to get ready. The breakfasts were very good and we had a delicious afternoon tea on the outdoor terrace. My only complaint was […] that the service was a little slow at afternoon tea. The concierges were helpful and all of their restaurant suggestions were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again should I get back to London. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very Nice Hotel in Central London"
Shared a family room - very large and spacious. 2 bathrooms were very nice, though minor complaint would be when you shower 3-4 inches of water accumulates in the tub and then drains extremely slowly. Other than this one thing, our stay was great. Extremely helpful and courteous staff, fantastic central location, and a very cool setting itself. Would […] recommend to friends in the future. "St. Ermin's London"
Overall very enjoyable; however, had problems with some services. Mini bar was not faithfully replenished and we had to contact staff to refill constantly. Light in one of the bathrooms was dim. Contacted staff who indicated they would replace; however, it wasn't replaced until it actually burned out! The restaurant service sometimes was questionable […] because when I asked for cold milk to drink I got it in a creamer pitcher, a short glass, a coffee cup, a tall glass or some other device! The various concierge's on duty were ALWAYS very helpful which made up for the negatives to either get us where we wanted to go, or provided advice on places to eat. Hotel was right around the corner from the St. James tube stop, which was really convenient and was within walking distance of Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace which made getting to each a breeze. The Big Bus hop on hop off went past the hotel so the stop was close by and the No. 24 bus to/from Leicester Square was also close to the hotel. Our room was the family suite that had two double beds and a twin and there were two full bathrooms in the room. Also AC could be regulated on both sides of the room, which was nice. Very good overall experience would stay here again. Stayed with my wife and 2 children for 4 daysGenuine Expedia guest review
"Classic Hotel in Westminster, London"
Gorgeous hotel in a great location in London. Could not ask for a nicer staff, or better accommodations. All first class. The biggest complaint is the government "congestion tax" for those driving in the central core of London. You don't really even know about this tax until the hotel tells you about it at checkin. I would not suggest driving to this […] hotel: the overnight parking rates and congestion tax exceeded the cost of the car rental for one week!! But that is the only complaint. Everything else is top notch, and worth the money. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, centrally located to most attractions."
We had a thoroughly enjoyable tourist experience at and nearby the hotel, which is a two minute walk to Buckingham Palace.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful place to stay."
This was my first trip to London and had a great time. We caught some great weather and it made running around easier. The people there were very open to helping with information as well as fun conversations. There is so much to do and see, it's no wonder so many visitors are heading that way. I want to go back soon.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel with great location"
This is a great place to stay with a great location that is easy walking to many attractions. Additionally, it is located right next to a tube station. The nice central location is unbeatable. The staff was very friendly and professional and offered some great suggestions during our stay. Additionally, our room was ready when we arrived after a early […] morning flight. This was great being that we arrived so early in the morning after a long flight. Room was always impeccably clean as was the rest of the hotel. Wifi was a bit inconsistent; however, more than adequate for casual use. Would definitely stay again if in London. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very conveniently located, beautiful hotel"
Our stay was great! We were disappointed with the high cost of the breakfast but the manager was very responsive. Rooms are a bit small but I would definitely stay at the St. Ermins again because of the location and service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel...great location"
Hotel was very comfortable, had and exceptional staff with a great location. Very easy access to the subway, and major sites (Westminster, Buckingham palace especially). We booked the larger room with two bathrooms which worked perfectly for us...worth the extra expense. Breakfast was included and had enough choices that we did not get bored during […] our stay. "Fantastic service, good location, nice bed."
The staff were welcoming, lovely people at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were ok. Beds were fantastic and we slept very well. It is in a quiet neighborhood with good eating options (particularly at lunch; across Victoria there is a pedestrian zone at lunch with several pop up food stalls with delicious stuff) and easy access to the tube, bus, and […] major sights. We'd definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Elegant Hotel & Great Location"
Lovely hotel. Our room was well appointed and very cozy. Not a lot of drawer storage space but they quickly brought us more hangars. Bathroom did not have many storage surfaces. Our A/C seemed to shut off in the middle of the night but hotel maintenance addressed the issue the next day. In a business area close to lots of sights and using busses was […] easy and convenient. Not many restaurants super close but did not matter to us. Tremendous value with the great rate we got on Hotels.com. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spectacular London experience"
This was an anniversary celebration. When the hotel learned that my husband and I had been married 44 years they upgraded us to a junior suite. What a surprise! It was spectacular. Loved London. So much to see. I come from NYC and in comparison I found London very civilized- no honking of car horns, cab drivers pleasant and knowlegeable, helpful signs […] everywhere. "Treated Like a 2nd Class Citizen"
Experienced nothing but problems from the moment I arrived. Pros: Great location Cons: Housekeeping literally put clean glass covers over my dirty used glasses with tea still in them ( I have a photo but am unable to upload it) Upon checking in, the hotel clerk did not fully explain how much money they hold per day for excess room charges. I was […] advised a 50 pound hold. Not true, any where from 50 to 100 pounds PER DAY. I was there for 10 days. They tied up my money. Said it would take up to 10 days to refund my money. Thank god I had the sense to exchange money in the US before going to London. To add insult, the manager sent me a cheap bottle of wine to my room to apologize. I don't drink. If I did it would be a better bottle than I was sent. I returned the wine to them and explained I was once again insulted. I never received a formal apology. They did ask what they could do to make it up to me. I suggested upgrade my room or maybe treat me to dinner. They sent me that cheap bottle of wine. Ridiculous. I felt uncomfortable at the hotel. Was asked on several occasions when I would be checking out. This was my first time traveling alone and abroad for my birthday. They ruined my birthday and the experience for me. Many, many, many other incidents occurred during my stay. If you want to know, please ask. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely hotel in a great location"
The hotel is grand looking. Rooms were small but tidy and as advertised. Front door man was very helpful and kind. Concierge was helpful with various activities. The Caxon Grill was great and the bar was wonderful. The only thing that was a bit wonky was that in advance of my trip, I contacted the concierge to help me purchase tickets to a football/soccer […] game. I was required to provide a credit card to secure the tickets. Just before I departed for the trip, I was notified by my credit card company that someone in London tried to use by cc to purchase $7000 worth of medical services (which I declined). When I told the concierge about this -- and not in an angry way, more of a "hey you may have a data breach", they vehemently denied it could not have happened on their side. But since their hotel was the only one who had this particular cc info, I thought there were a good chance something could have happened with them. Their reaction was a bit dismissive considering the situation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed for 5 nights in April, 2014. Unfortunately, our room was not ready when we arrived at 12:10 after an overnight flight. They held the bags in storage for us. The family room was a good option for adults traveling with a teenager. This was one of the few hotels in the area with a room with two bathrooms offered. The lobby is small and we had […] to pay extra to use the computer/printer in the "business center". Overall, we had a good experience, but I would probably not stay there again on our next trip. "Perfect Location -- Amazing Staff"
My family and I spent 10 days at this hotel. Our "family" room was terrific -- spacious with two bathrooms. The hotel is ideally located -- 5 minutes to Parliament Square and St. James Park. "Perfect landing spot for our family of 4"
Got a family room for 2 adults and our 2 tweens. The room had 2 full bathrooms, which was a godsend when trying to get everyone up and out the door in the morning. "Great location, beautiful hotel!"
Besides being an absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location, the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. "Close to Buckingham Palace and very quiet"
We enjoyed our checking, our stay, our doorman, our bed, THE QUIET, even though you are so close to Buckingham Palace. Walking distance to the Palace, 2 nice pubs, an Italian restaurant...only dodgy area was right across street, the little tiny park, don't walk thru at night to go to Italian Coloseum restaurant, there are homeless and shady area there. "A quick trip to downtown London!"
A coworker and I decided after work to head to London for the weekend to find some new restaurants to satisfy our palates. We happened upon St. Ermins Hotel for two reasons, the location and comfort. "Beautiful hotel nestled in central London"
Just returned from a fantastic stay at St. Ermins over spring break! We had a "family room" with plenty space for our family of four overlooking the center hotel entrance. I stayed at this hotel during a 2-night stay in London. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay with very close proximity to several sights within London such as Westminster Abbey. "Excellent hotel location"
I have a better view of room but saw some of room might have very ugly view by restricted building design. Location is excellent, walking distance to some familiar sightseeing spots, minutes to tube station & bus stop. Room price is expense but worth.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel but room was the size of a crate"
the hotel was ok but I expected much more for the price I paid. There was hardly enough room in my room to turn around. The lobby area was nice. The internet went down every 15 minutes or so which was very frustrating. The food at the bar was weird. And it was just overpriced for what I got. I wont be staying there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"This hotel has it all - loved it"
Perfect location, beautiful hotel, comfortable room, good service - will definitely be back. The only meal we had at the hotel was tea. It was quite good, but nothing special. The concierge was very nice and eager to help, but not terribly knowledgeable about major tourist attractions. Our only complaint is the overpowering air freshener they use in […] the lobby. It's a pleasant scent but they use way too much - to the point where if you have asthma you probably shouldn't stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, unique hotel"
Our family, two adults and three teenagers, stayed here for five nights. We really enjoyed the hotel, especially the proximity to Westminstre Abbey, the London Eye, and Buckingham Palace. The hotel is beautiful and clean and our room was very spacious and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is the way hotels should be. Everything in the hotel tells you a lot of effort goes into making your stay easy. We arrived very late but the front desk still managed to upgrade us. Got a quick nightcap at the bar - beer selection is a bit limited but otherwise excellent. Rooms were attractively furnished, in great condition. Very nice modern bathroom. […] Not quite enough closet space though. Beds were excellent. Breakfast the next morning was also very nice, we stuck with the buffet which was good but could be a little more expansive, There were some optional items on the menu but we skipped that. They were very reasonably priced even if the buffet itself was somewhat expensive. Overall we found the hotel to be an excellent value and an excellent starting point to visit London as it's within walking distance of just about everything.
