Quality Inn Weeki Wachee - Spring Hill

the only reason i stayed at this hotel was because of a personal location matter i needed to be right next door bottom line thats it! i"d had left the first ten minutes of being there if not.ha well for starters i walk in and there is a huge burn on the bedspred.i mean it was obvious it was just made that way after the fact, i called the desk for almost […] half an hour before i got an answer. i wanted a new bedspred and a couple lightbulbs because they were blew out in the room,had to rig the remote controll myself to work i told the guy about the bedspred and sai i didnt wanna be charged with it assuming he offer a new one right away he just said oh no its ok we wont charge you for that ,,,,leaving me with the burnt one? so i called back ask specifically asked him for one he said he'd see what he could do, if i had to guess id say he was in his late teens and the only other employee there( maintenence) and everything else was about 20. now i really dont think these kids should be to blame they obviosly dont own the place but this is the worst run highly overpriced for what you get hotel ive ever stayed at. they may as well have hourly rates. oh and my last day and a half the wifi was out. everytime they rebooted it worked for five min at best and was not my computer because i tried my other wifi devices and had very important things to do,,,id stay somewhere else for sure or you will be mad. The staff was nice but the place should be torn down! The only thing quality was the name.

What a wonderful place to have a hotel to accommodate travelers who might enjoy such a great iconic attraction like Weeki Wachee, right accros the street, & the beautiful mermaids that swim in the clear blue waters of the spring fed river they live in for their daily shows! Too bad, however, that the owners or managers of the hotel don't feel the same […] way, as is evident in how this hotel is kept! Upon our arrival, the first room given to us had only one light working, out of four of them! In asking to change rooms, the front desk attendant asked me if I tried plugging all of them in! I didn't know that I had to try that first, but in any case, told him that I'm not the maintenance man! The nerve! Our second room was fine, in that regards, but every top of the furniture pieces had this nauseating, smelling, oily sheen to it as if the product used was going out of style! I had to wipe down all the surfaces before going to sleep in hopes of the smell subsiding! Needless to say, I had dreams that I was working on an oil rig! Awful! In their defense & I'm sure it's a smart way to try to brighten up any of the other guest's weary nights, the free breakfast was adequate in the offer of, not just the usual 'continental' items, but they also had bacon & eggs! hotel was clean but chairs in our room was broken. I booked this hotel because there was a bar but on Friday IT WAS ONLY open from 5 pm to 9 pm which defeated the reason for booking a hotel with a bar.

this is a "quality" inn and not the ritz. dont expect anything fancy. we just wanted somewhere clean for 2 nights. very happy with choice. good food and quiet rooms. the hallway noise seemed to seep in through the door and window cracks, but once our neighbors got in we could not hear a thing! i think the older design of the hotel has double insulated […] walls. Very good location accross from Weeki Watchi Springs. Clean rooms and nice pool area. Breakfast was nice presented and good.,

The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Weeki Wachee, and the rates were comparable to the other options in the area. The front desk was helpful in giving us toiletries that had been forgotten, and the continental breakfast in the morning was tasty. I can't, in good conscience, recommend the hotel, though. When we woke up the next morning, […] my wife had a trail of spider bites from underneath her ear all the way down to her opposite shoulder, bites that have only gotten worse over the past three days. We have visited a doctor and found out that they are nothing more than a nuisance, but the quantity of bites indicated far more than one spider having bitten her. The doctor asked whether we had been hiking or in an attic because the quantity seemed to reflect an ill-used (or at the least, ill-cleaned) location. Read more

1st room they put me in wasn't cleaned yet and it was at 7pm at night . looked like someone was still staying in there . 2nd room was somewhat clean some sticky substance was on desk and counter and blankets had holes in them , and bathroom smelled terrible as well .

The hotel stay was good. This is just a suggestion, how about a small refridgerator in the rooms.

Hotel was ok, front desk was very nice the only thing I didnt like was the bed, the pillows were nice, but the bed was very uncomfortable!! and the price was great the night I booked the room!

A decent price and a decent stay, stores, restauransts and supermarkets are less than 10 minutes away. Location was convinient and right across the street from Weeki Wachii springs park.

This hotel was a great bargain. It was clean and well maintained. It is not new but they do a good job of keeping it in good shape. We stayed for two nights and were completely satisfied.

No restaurant in Hotel anymore, (as of 4/15/11) anyway.

The continental breakfast at this hotel was the worst I have ever seen. There were 4 of us staying in room but we were only given 3 bath towels. There were no towels in the pool area in designated bins. Could not take our shoes off in room because the carpet was turning the soles of our feet black. A great location and next to several local shops and venues. A beautiful pool and nice breakfast for guests. The TV;s are out-dates and they do not have a HD broadcast which is pretty common in other hotels.

Great area. Best breakfast in all the hotels I have stayed in. Good price as well. Room was cozy. Front desk people were very helpful explaining to me the directions and what kind of services they offer at hotel. One possible issue was the check in process took longer than average. Something wrong with their computer or front desk girl. The other […] possible issue was that they told me they put a hold of $30 on my credit card. No other hotels do that. The beds and linens were very comfortable for hotel beds. Had a good nights sleep. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to Weeki Wachee Springs.

While the room was okay, there was only one light connected which made it dark in the room. I could not connect lights as the plugs were behind the bed. In fairness, I did not ask for help in this as I was always so busy and got to the room late each day and left early each morning. Staff was friendly when I did encounter them - a real plus.
