Extremely satisfied and happy with the hotel. Very clean, comfortable and convenient to the tube and major lnadmarks. The service was excellent and the breakfast very satisfying.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nine people in tow!"
We went with 9 people so we had 3 rooms. I still gave it a 5 star even with the 4 star for the comfort of the room. We, in the US, are too complacent with the things that we have so we expect the same. Our 4 star is a little different than their 4 star, hence the 4 star on the comfort of the room. The rooms were smaller than I expected. The pull out […] sofa bed was only comfortable for one adult (or 2 kids). Overall experience of the hotel was fantastic, however. The staff were always friendly regardless of the time. The breakfast included with the room rate was one of the best. Croissant every morning was always fresh and fluffy. The manager in the cafe was always doing what he can to accommodate the different parties that were queuing up so props to the cafe manager. The one take away I noticed that the service provided by the staff here was 5 star. I highly recommend this hotel for people travelling with families. The tube station was 2 minutes walks so very convenient. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Room for shower & sleep, this is the place!"
This hotel is located at a good location but a distance away from most of the attractions (Westminister) and action. I wasn't too happy with the service we got once we arrived at the hotel. It seems like they cater more to business people before families. I notice this when I was told to wait in the waiting area until they can get a room ready for me […] and my family. Another family was told the same thing. Two ladies come in and quickly they were given keys to their rooms. I stood waiting for 45 minutes. The room was pretty small compared to other rooms I've stayed in while in Europe and in Edinburgh. Our hotel standard rooms look like suites compare to the room at this hotel. I can tell you that although it was small it was clean. I would have to say that the rating was a 4 cause of housekeeping, being close to the tower of London and London Bridge. The bathroom was a little awkward. The toilet was in small closet with no sink. I had to go to the shower room next to the toilet room to wash my hand in the sink. Yeah, weird. The rug looks a little dated, but again it was OK. We only used the room to shower and sleep not so much to hang around in it. Hope this review was helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"good hotel for a family"
Hotel was neat and had good service. The location is somewhat far from many attractions but very close to the Tower hill underground station, which made it easier for us to travel. The bathrooms are weird since they only have tinted glass and not solid wall and this was somewhat uncomfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for everybody"
The hotel is a very good place for a family. And for everybodyGenuine Expedia guest review
My wife, two children and I had a very pleasant stay at the Novotel Tower Bridge. We found the location excellent and were able to make the most of our short stay in London. The Tower Bridge was accessible, and a subway stop was just metres from the front door. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful to us and spent some time pointing us to the […] nearby sights and activities. The children - ages 10 and 11 - were happy with the accommodations and were also pleased with the access to the computers off the lobby. The only complaint we had was with the cost of the breakfast in the hotel. We were able to find a pub very nearby that served an excellent breakfast for much cheaper and we also went there for supper. The food was great and reasonably priced. Other than that, though, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good property, if a bit out of the way."
Good price for a hotel very close to the tube, but nothing else. As long as you are prepared to have to take the tube to visit any sites beyond the Tower of London it's a good deal.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tower Hill Novotel, great location"
This hotel is located near the tube and the obviously the near theTower of London. Novotel was clean, the staff was always friendly and helpful and the check in process was a breeze. The hotel is located near several pubs and breakfast places and is very quiet on the weekends when the work week in the city ends. We enjoyed our stay very much and will […] consider staying there again when we visit London. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Novotel London Tower - Fancy!"
We stayed in this hotel for two nights during a stop in London coming back from other European travels and before returning to the US, so we were exhausted. We ended up spending almost a full day and a half in the room, and had quite a nice relaxing time. The pricing was expensive, but reasonable by London standards. The neighborhood is not really great, […] but then again, that's The City. That being said, the hotel was within walking distance of many tube stops. Not many good places to eat nearby, though this wasn't a problem as the hotel roomservice was pretty great! The room itself was very fancy and comfortable. The bathroom wasn't as clean and comfortable as I would've expected, but it still had a nice cool factor to it. The lack of complimentary internet was annoying. Had to pay an extra 10 pounds for 24 hours of it. Staff was generally friendly, and the room was pretty quiet. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Attractive hotel, okay location"
We enjoyed our stay at the Novotel because it was modern, clean and comfy. It was really close to the tower hill underground station so it was super easy to get around the city and to and from the airport or train terminals. And as the name suggests, it was only about a block from the tower bridge and tower of London. The downside was that if you want […] to see most of the rest of the city, it is not as close. The globe theatre and the Tate modern are reasonably close (25 min walk?), across the London bridge. The hotel is essentially in a financial district and you don't have many tempting options for food in the blocks surrounding it. I would recommend crossing over the tower bridge if you are looking for somewhere to eat that is walking distance from the hotel. Oh, also I found the Internet service (which is pricey at £10 per day) difficult to use. On my iPad, I had to re-log in constantly and it didn't stay connected when I switched apps. Could have been user error, but I haven't had that problem at other hotels on my trip. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to someone who is interested in doing a lot of walking or okay with taking the underground to most attractions in the city. "Perfect hotel in London (price/cleaniness/location wise)"
A 1 minute walk to the tubes, a 3 minutes walk to the trains, what more can one wish when you visit London for sightseeing? Two of London's most important sights (Tower and Tower bridge) are just around the corner. Rooms are well cleaned/maintained, not too spacious, but one, most likely, is only there for the nights. The hotel's good breakfast isn't […] cheap, but where is it in hotels these days?! If you travel with kids the average becomes a lot lower. Alternative breakfast location: 2 min walk. If we are to write anything negative about the hotel it's probably the fact that there's no concierge, which could cause a bit of waiting when you just want to drop off /collect your luggage or ask for directions. "Reasonable hotel in London - with room for kids"
Two adults and 2 teens could stay in room (fold out sofa bed), so this ended up being a very reasonable place to stay. Is very, very close to Tower Hill tube station so very convenient to get anywhere else in London. It's in the "City" neighborhood of London, and on Sundays and evenings surrounding area closes down . . . if you want nightlife stay elsewhere, […] but it worked well for us. "Novotel- London Tower Bridge"
Great location. You can see the hotel from the tube stop, about a block away. It is equally close to the Tower of London. Very professional, helpful staff. If you are traveling with children, they have a very nice children's menu, with several options over three courses. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel and in their restaurant. Their breakfast is lovely. […] I would stay here again without looking at other hotels. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was reasonably priced and for our needs the location was perfect. The lounge/restaurant was very cool as were the rooms which were recently remodeled. There was no concierge which was frustrating as the check in desk was always busy with seriously long lines. There is no wi-fi in the hotel which should be a given these days and the broadband […] service was cost prohibitive at £19 per 24 hours. However they provide two large I mac's in reception with a 20 minute limit. Unfortunately, it was difficult to use the computers as they were monopolized by children playing computer games. "Novotel London Tower Bridge"
Located near the business district, very convenient for getting to the London Bridge or Tower of London. Rooms a little tight and bathroom is like many in Europe with the bath seperated from the toilet, which would have been perfect (allowing 2 people to use both facilities in tandem) if they had a little wash basin in the toilet to clean up after. All […] in all fair service, the front desk clerks were not very friendly as were the waitresses at the bar, making it clear they wanted the patrons sitting in manner that was convenient to them and not to the one spending the money. "Great location and Excellent Service"
Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great it had good variety of food and drinks along with a very attentive and pleasant staff. Hotel cleansiness was immaculate. We stayed 28th May for 1 night. 2 adults 1 child aged 12yrs for a theatre break. Hotel was great apart from really smelly drains in room 418. On arrival at the hotel we were advised that our booking had been cancelled that morning (we had booked via hotels.com on 23rd May and had confirmation that it was fully paid and booking ref number) apparently […] there had been a technical difficulty with the card??? I was told my money would be refunded within 5-7 days (ridiculous as I had been told the payment wasn't taken so booking cancelled!!??) after 2 further attempts - with the same card we were booked in - an hour in all!! "More 3* than 4*"
Having stayed in a number of 4* hotels, many in London I was disappointed with this hotel, we stayed in a very cramped room with our 2 children. Although I had booked a superior room there was no space at all once the sofabed had been made, so if staying more than 1 night it would be very difficult. The bathroom though is spacious and very clean. A […] few touches you would expect of a 4* were not there, eg no tissues in the room and the toiletries supplied were not great. Staff were friendly but breakfast more 3* than 4*. Location though is great for exploring Tower of London and is in a lovely part of London. Would not stay here again though. We've stayed here a few times and cannot fault it. Great service, comfortable rooms and superb location. Thoroughly recommend!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Fantastic view from the sixth floor room and amazing service. The children were given a pack of small gifts which was unexpected and always a nice touch. This kept them happy for a while. The room was small but as expected in central London. The parking recommendation was brilliant and appreciated the recommendation of a very reasonable option. The […] reason for my scoring of 4 was due to the smell of smelly socks in the room, after some airing this went away but still not pleasant. Really good hotel and yes I would go back ! Perfection location . Only things I would change would be although we were upgraded to a executive room. I would maybe improve […] the bar snacks available later in the evening as not everybody want to order something from the kitchen when you only fancy a few nuts or crisps ! "Lovely modern hotel with great service"
The hotel is modern with comfy beds, great 'rainfall' shower & a lovely bar with extremely good prices for being a (hotel) bar in London. Room 641 has fantastic views! The bar/reception staff were all so friendly & helpful - fantastic! When I got home I realised I'd left something behind and called the hotel (22:00 at night) to see if it had been found […] - she called house-keeping there and then, they had indeed found it, emailed me a form that night & item was shipped the day after - flawless! Would highly recommend this hotel - there's no shopping as such around this area but plenty of food/drink (esp St Katherine's Dock - the Dickens Inn is lovely in the sun outside & for sports/food inside)! Hotel and facilities very good. We arrived very early in the morning and room was available. Location excellent. Very good location close to Tower Bridge etc. Room clean and modern although figuring out how to activate the clear/frosted window between bathroom and bedroom required a 6-year old randomly pressing buttons.
