We stayed at the Hyatt, the hotel itself was nice but the room wasn't what we expected for the price. I was not impressed by the room at all, it reminded me of a Motel 6 only a lot pricier. 3 people stayed in the room, had to ask for more towels, shampoo, coffee pot etc. The beds didn't even have a fitted sheet just a sheet draped over the bed. The hotel was great but the employee that checked us in charged my debit card an additional $135.00, which threw my checking account off and not to mention it was our anniversary. The price was good. We booked three rooms at the same time and it would have been nice to have them on the Same floor. Service was great! Immediate greeting with names provided Herman, the valet took car/bags. He then delivered our bags to room, immediately after check in, then offered and obtained a bucket of ice for us!! He also provided walking instructions to the concert we were attending. Friendly and prompt service but with no breakfast and internet included, the value was not as I had hoped. The charge of $9.99 per day for internet service per device seems a bit steep. The thermostat was not accurate and it took almost a day to get up to a comfortable temperature. I did report this at the end of our stay because we did not want to […] move to another room. Stayed overnight with a friend. We were there for a concert at the BOK Center. We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance, only about two blocks away. We came for the USA conference finals, and it was close to all the action. The price was great and there were fun St. Patricks day activities on the streets a few blocks down. The room had a strange smell, and strange noises coming from the window area. It sounded like something rattling in the ceiling. "Hyatt Regency was perfect for our downtown getaway"
I'll keep it short and sweet. Room was very comfortable, we had 4 adults total and it was fine. Location is perfect if you are looking to go out at night for local nightlife such as Cain's Ballroom as we did. The service at the hotel was fantastic, from check in to check out. Best part about it, the Hyatt offered a shuttle that not only took us from […] the hotel to Cain's Ballroom, they then came and picked us up from the same place, drove us to another bar, then another and then picked us up and brought us back to the hotel. Have stayed at this hotel 100+ times, including when it was Crowne Plaza. Excellent location for downtown concerts & getting around Tulsa. Typically, very good service but Hyatt should upgrade rooms more--still very similar to Crowne Plaza. On this stay, housekeeping did not clean room, even though they were standing outside with cart cleaning room […] across from ours when we left for the day. We even told housekeeping lady that we were leaving, so please clean room. When we returned that evening, the room was untouched. One quick call got us everything we needed--towels, toiletries, coffee--but it was a hassle. Also, toilet did not work first morning, but maintenance came & fixed quickly. Beds are awful like sleeping on top of a barrel. Left room at 0900 returned at 1530. Room had not been cleaned n much complaining to front desk finally resulted in clean room at 1630. The hotel was clean. Our sole purpose for using this hotel was so the kids could swim. After we were in our room, about 5:00, we went to the pool and it was closed for painting the walls of the room. Not sure why they chose to paint on a Saturday? There was no one in there painting but they still wouldn't let the kids swim. The room's heater was very noisy especially whenever it kicked on it made a loud noise. This prevented me from enjoying a good nights rest of which one would expect from a Hyatt Regency Hotel. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa the night before running the Tulsa marathon. Not only was the hotel close to the start line, but the staff was super nice and completely accommodating to the runners. Here's just a few examples: the hotel gave everyone a 3 p.m. check out! I've stayed in a number of hotels pre-marathon and I've never been given such […] a late check out (in fact, the last place I stayed wouldn't even budge past noon). tables set up in the lobby with course maps, shuttle times, area attractions etc. as well as people manning the tables to answer any questions. Finally, when I called to schedule a wake-up call the lady asked if I wanted to schedule a second wake up call a few minutes after the first. (Of course!). Very good coffee shop in the building. Very good cocktail bar (Valkyrie) a few blocks North. I was on foot, which everyone in Tulsa seemed to think was not a good idea "because of the area," but the area looked fine to me. If you feel the need to open carry you must be scared of a lot! Otherwise, any decent restaurant is a 5-10 min walk from this hotel. […] There is not too much going on in downtown Tulsa. The bed was very comfortable. It'd be nice if they spent the time to get HD channels going on the LCD, because it was just a plain standard def analog signal off the cable--lame. I see wasted HDTV's like this in hotels most of the time--just because it's flat doesn't mean it looks any good. They ran out of double beds even though I booked double beds. The brought in a small sleeper bed but didn't set it up. Just rolled it in and left it. I liked the check-in kiosk. That was fast and painless. We got to our room and got settled in after paying $15 for valet. We got in and I noticed a red stain on some of the sheets, which are itchy and not soft at all. During the middle of the night, the AC unit kicked off and I was so hot. I got up 2 or 3 different times to try and figure it out. At […] 7 pm we put it on 65 degrees on auto and by the time we got back at 11, our room was very hot. We put it down to 60 and the fan on 'high' and I still had to get up in the middle of the night multiple times to get the ac to turn back on. The walls must be paper thin because we heard multiple groups coming in at 2 and 3 in the morning. I know this isn't the hotels fault with unruly guests but the walls were so thin, I could hear their whole conversations. The mattress was uncomfortable and the sheets feel like sandpaper. "Far From Professional"
Would love to give this hotel the 4.5 stars they deserve, but unfortunately, they've chosen to employ [or partner with] the security company that is in charge of their parking. And - for the second time in a year - the security company's horrendous behavior left a skidmark on this hotel's reputation. For some inexplicable reason, Hyatt has chosen […] to only allow self-parkers to exit out of the building by using their room key... but who keeps their room key? This was never told to us when we paid, and the lady in charge of parking could not have been more rude. We explained that we didn't have our key, so she ordered us to pay. When we told her we had paid, she then asked for our key. This went on-and-on until I had to suggest she called the front desk. She did, to no answer. "Try pressing zero" I said. "I've been working here for 20 years!" she screamed. No answer. "You need to pay" she said, smiling. Long story short, I had to drive back up 3 levels, walk back up the stairs, wait in line [attendant on duty couldn't be found] for 15 minutes while the person in front of me checked in, get a new room key, go all the way back down and then go through the process of exiting the building. Is this a huge deal? No. But when other hotels are the same price, it's worth it to me to not have to deal with any aggravating service.
