Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.

This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

Good service and a decent area, very convinent location with a market of all food and goods! 2 mins walk from metro! Just a little far from center paris! Good service and polite reception!

I never gave a bad review for any hotel until now. This hotel is fine for the money but 4 mornings a week at 6AM a sewer service like roto-roter does some type of pipe maintenance just 100 feet and its way to noisy. It stops at 7:15 but the damage is done. I found myself going to bed early as to get enough sleep before the noise. I’m doing this on vacation?? […] Every night at about 1 to 2 AM a got woken by street loiterers who for some reason hung out in the front of the hotel then moved on. Everything bad about this place was the external noise. "Bon rapport qualite prix"
The room was fairly small, the double bed compact, the noises in the morning from the plumbing rather loud, and the repairs around the shower scruffy. But these are secondary matters. The more important things are that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the people at the desk were polite, Square D'Anvers is a pleasant corner of Paris, and […] the hotel is very convenient from the Gare du Nord. "Place d'Anvers"
Hotel is located just under Sacre Ceur Cathedral on a square d'Anvers. There is a metro stop (Anvers) just 100 meteres from the hotel. Since there is is free Wifi provided by Paris Town Hall at the square (2 hours free access) you can access the network also from your room or you can buy 24 hours pass for 9 Euro from Orange too. Hotel rooms are bit […] small but clean with reasonable size bathroom (naturally no fancy furniture). Anyway the objective of a 2 star hotel in Paris is to have a good sleep and breakfast so you could walk all day long... and this hotel provides that (easy access to metro or just walk around Mont Martre). "Fab location, clean but very tired hotel."
If you are on a budget this is a no frills hotel which is a great place to crash after a day/night in Paris. It's location in Montmartre is fantastic, we had a view of the Sacre Couer is you leaned out onto our small balcony, and also the top of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is clean but very basic, don't expect any surprises with the room, it has a bed […] and a TV and that's pretty much it. The bathroom is fine, but the (dribbly) shower is very small. The hotel is pretty typical of an age-ing Parisian building, it would have been splendid in it's day but is now tired and in need of redecoration. The hotel does offer a buffet breakfast but we decided to decline in favour of crepes in a local cafe. Overall a great stay, we weren't too disappointed with the hotel, we had a limited budget! "Fantastisk udsigt"
Værelse mod gaden på 6. sal. Fantastisk udsigt mod såvel Eifeltårnet, Sacre Ceour og højhuset Tour Montparnasse. Dejlig lille terrasse hvor udsigten kan nydes fra. Pænt værelse og fint stort badeværelse.
"Très bien placé et excellent rapport qualité-prix"
Situé au pied du Sacré Coeur et de la butte Montmartre, stations de bus et métro à 50 m , cet hotel est idealement placé si l'on a envie de visiter ce quartier de Paris . L'accueil est chaleureux et le service très correct. La vue sur le square est très agréable , on voit même le Sacré Coeur ainsi que les Tours Eiffel et Montparnasse si l'on se trouve […] aux etages supérieurs.J'y retourne régulièrement et ne suis jamais déçue. "Tæt på hyggelige Montmartre og Metro"
Vi er tilfredse med standard og beliggenhed af hotellet. Fint til prisen. Dog har vi en klage: den første nat blev vi henvist til et andet (dårligere) hotel med den begrundelse, at nogle andre gæster var kommet for sent til deres fly, så de havde vores værelse. Det andet hotel var meget nedslidt og vi fik et værelse lige ved receptionen, hvor der var […] meget larm og uro. Ingen beklagede noget som helst. En meget dårlig start på ferien! Ellers fint ophold. "Hotel du square d'Anvers"
Cet hôtel est très bien placé , au pied de la butte Montmartre , stations de bus et métro à 2 pas. Face au square d'Anvers , la vue est agréable et dégagée pour les chambres situées côté rue. Le personnel est accueillant ainsi que le propriétaire de l'hôtel souvent présent la journée. C'est un hôtel charmant sans prétention , idéal pour une escale ou […] un court séjour dans le quartier de Montmartre. On peut apprécier aussi la rue des martyrs et la rue des abbesses à quelques pas pour faire un peu de shopping. Il est egalement tout a fait faisable de se rendre à pied aux Galeries Lafayette. Il y a aussi des restaurants et des cafés aux alentours de l'hôtel. Préférez les chambres du 6e etage qui ont été entièrement rénovées et bénéficient d'une très jolie vue sur le sacré coeur et la Tour Eiffel ! Read more
"Hôtel du square d'Anvers à Paris : très bien placé"
L'hôtel est très bien, télé un peu petite, chambre agréable avec balcon et vue sur le sacré coeur si on a de la chance... Peu de circulation dans la rue, chambre très calme. Petit déjeuner simple mais complet. Hôtel très bien situé, visible depuis la sortie de métro Anvers.

chambre très bruyante, on entend les voisins. Réveillé tôt par un réveil voisin. Je déconseille cet hôtel surtout pour ce prix la.
"Hotel Du Square D'anvers"
Vi brukar inte spendera så mkt tid på hotellet så detta var inte så kritiskt för oss men... Sängen var ca180cm lång och mina fötter hängde utanför. Toan var väldigt liten och det skulle vara svårt för överviktiga att få plats. När någon använde toa etc i andra lägenheter så lät det som Niagarafallet i väggarna när de spolade. Annars är läget mysigt […] och bra. Ska ni vara ute hela dagarna så funkar hotellet. Vill ni spendera tid på rummet så får ni nog gå upp till 3stjärnigt eller liknande. Read more

"Leuk hotelletje vlak bij metro en Sacre Couer"
Leuk hotelletje met erg eenvoudige kamer. Alles is erg krap voor onze maatstaven. Het was er erg netjes en schoon. Elke dag nieuwe handdoeken en zeep. Het ligt niet aan een doorgaande weg en is daarom vrij rustig. Tegenover het hotel is een kinderspeelplaats in parkvorm en daar is het overdag erg druk maar daar heb je geen last van. De metro ligt op […] 300 meter lopen en dat is erg fijn. Het station Gare du Nord ligt op loopafstand en met koffers op wielen goed bereikbaar. Er zijn ook genoeg restaurantjes in de buurt om te eten. De receptie was erg behulpzaam met de vragen die we hadden en namen direkt aktie om ons tevereden te stellen. Read more
