It worked for our needs, but be aware that this is a cheap hotel for a reason. It is close to the freeway which was nice for getting around southern California, but we could hear the cars from our room. The shower was awful in that the water pressure was poor, the temperature gauge was just there for looks, and there wasn't a shower head so it felt […] like we were just showering under a hose. The mattress wasn't the best and had a weird plastic cover, but it beat sleeping on the floor, a couch, or in the car. There isn't a mini fridge or a microwave, but the TV worked ok. about a ten minute ride to magic mountain. Much cheaper than hotels in the immediate area. Nothing around the hotel but the freeway and a Denny's. Pool is only open during the summer. Hmmmm.. it's 80's in April, the pool should be open. Anyway, it's cheap and 1 minute to the freeway, so it's not all bad.

The hotel is great for the price. It is less than 5 minutes walking to McDonald's and Denny's. The pool and the spa is clean also the hotel is close to the freeway. You do not have a ''FLAT SCREEN TV'.

For the money, this hotel was a good choice. It's in a convenient location, right off the 5 Freeway. There is a Denny's and McDonalds within walking distance... measured in feet (30 ft and 200ft away). They accommodate very late check-in and it looks like the owner lives on site. A few specific observations: 1) If you have a room facing the freeway, […] you will have road noise. The top floor rooms all have road noise because they are above the sound wall. 2) The swimming pool was closed. I wanted to use the spa, but for some reason, the pool was close in April, in California. 3) They have a vinyl bed cover, the kind you use if you think your kids will wet the bed. This proved to be a little uncomfortable and warm, but the air conditioner worked to combat that. 4) The parking lot is small and all guests get a parking pass. It's a good thing, too, because parking was a little challenging after 11pm. Some travelers with large trucks or vans are selfish and disrespectful cretins and take up two spots. So, get a spot and stay there. Don't worry about being parked close to your room... the elevator is central and there are many different paths to through the building. our stay was great but the parking was very limitted and that people were taking up two parkings or going over the lines where it was hard to get out of the car or other car doors would hit your car door

We checked in at night the rooms were stuffy and hot. People were outside the door all through the night.. the floor must have been non smoking because wen I walked outside there would be people outside our door smoking. Me my husband and kids would cover our nose and face to get to the elevator wich was infront of us but one door down. The shower was […] terrible my kids had to run in and out because the water would change from warm to freezing cold to burning hot I told the hotel about it they said they were gonna look into it. The location was ok there is a Dennys and McDonalds right there and two gas stations but the closest store was 17 miles away. Universal studio's about the same distance,, but with traffic an hour away. All in all it was ok and you could tolerate it but I had two rooms from Monday- Thursday and paid too much for what I got. Honestly guys I won't recommend this hotel to anyone, as soon as I opened the door this weird smell invaded our senses, it smelled like dirty clothing. ... The carpet was a mess dirty black spots everywhere. A lot of drunk people at night.. We stayed there for 2 nights, the power went out those two days.... lots of fluff dog on the bed.....

This hotel is great if you're looking for a quality hotel on the cheaper side. The rooms aren't fantastic, but they work. It's great if you're looking for a place to stay that's near Six Flags and near the beach. Also, although there aren't any good shops or restaurants nearby, there are plenty of strip-malls and malls that are just a short drive away.
