"Don't get it for luxury, but for the location"
This hotel is great if you're looking for a quality hotel on the cheaper side. The rooms aren't fantastic, but they work. It's great if you're looking for a place to stay that's near Six Flags and near the beach. Also, although there aren't any good shops or restaurants nearby, there are plenty of strip-malls and malls that are just a short drive away. "Get what you pay for here"
It was clean and the service at front desk was friendly. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Furniture, electronics, fixtures, etc. is very old and outdated. Walls were thin, here people in ajoining rooms really well. Perfect for getting in late at night, sleeping, then leaving early in the morning for cheap price. This is a place to crash not a place to stay several nights. The beds have a rubber sheet on them that makes the bed creak and the mattresses are unimpressive at best. "Decent for the price"
The price was reasonable and fairly clean. I had a smoking room & there was no ashtray in the room. I think its time to replace the mattress because it was too soft & the shower needs to be redone. "Convenient, but low budget"
OK, but not great. They turn the hot tub and pool off in winter, but there is morning coffee in the lobby. The girl "Sarah" tries hard to please, but she is overwhelmed by the calls and gets backed up. "Vacation in Hollywood"
This hotel is close to the freeway and about 20 minutes from Hollywood/Universal Studios. There is a Denny's right next door and a McDonald's across the street. I would recommend staying on the east side of the hotel as the west side is right off the freeway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

cops arrived on second night as people staying there long term are obviously gang and drug related usage. person in charge in office downright lied about no rooms have a fridge or one spare for our baby daughters food. "Great place for low price."
We needed a hotel room last minute and only wanted to pay bare minimum. Best price we found, staff was very nice and their service was instant. Condition of hotel was worn, but not sketchy or a dive. Beds were hard and the rooms were cold, but the heater quickly solved the heat issue. Parking was great! Would stay there a again to help save money!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Noisy first floor. Bring earplugs."
Really noisy inside the first-floor rooms that surround the inside of the motel. These are the rooms around the pool area. The cleaning staff - hard-workers all, to be sure - use their industrial laundry room located there and also use the area as a place to chat it up sick. Sick and really loud. The town where the hotel's at look like having a high criminal rate. Staff are nice, but service is not very good. We arrived there by 3:30 pm and they told me the room was not ready yet and asked me to come back after half an hour. I came back after 3 hours, they said the room's ready. But when we were about to get in the room, we found that they were […] still cleaning it. Then we waited in the cold wind for another 10 minutes and finally got our room.
