I had expected the same "quality" than a motel 6 motel, due to the same price range. But my room had a TV with bad reception and the floor carpet had several burning or painting marks. It was almost clean but it looked terrible. I guess would not come back and either go to another motel.

Beds were rock hard, even my kids hated them. Shower head was 5'5" high, not good for the average 6' American male. Nothing in the bathroom to hang a towel or clothes. Tube TV (seriously?) Will never stay here again. We stay in the area every year for the ALMS race at Laguna Seca (11 yrs in a row) and this was a new low in a Hotel.

Even though the price is good, the rooms are in poor shape. There was mold in the corners of the bathtub, a razor blade stuck by the bathroom mirror and the lamp was so beatup it looked like it came from the dump. We had to ask for towels & toilet paper and even though im handicapped, they put us in 2nd story room very far away from elevator.

Stayed here before. The gal at the front desk was VERY professional. I requested a very quite room and she made sure that I had one. She told me if there was any problems to call her and she would take care of it. About 30 minutes after I checked into the room she called to make sure everything was satisfactory.

Perfect if all you need is a place to sleep. Desk service was not the best. Couldn't even provide an extrs pillow. Cable was iffy, had to wiggle the cable to get it to work. No refrigerator or microwave made it difficult to have meals in the room.

So,...we had to leave a night ahead of schedule. Our room was non-smoking but because the walls were so thin we still smelled it --and other embarassing sounds ALL NIGHT. If you're desperate for a cheap room for an overnight stay and don't mind an uncomfortable bed, smelly room, and paper thin walls then this place may be for you. My husband and I impulsively decided to spend the weekend in Monterey which meant last minute hotel booking would be expensive. We decided on this motel since it was extremely cheap and only […] 20 minutes from Monterey. We spent the day in Monterey and checked in after 9pm, was placed in a small non-smoking corner room on the top floor that reeked of pot from a previous guest. We asked for another room and was placed on the 2nd floor. The other guests were questionable. They looked like gang members. We were afraid they would party all night long. Surprising it stayed quiet throughout the night, not a single peep from the questionable guests. A few things to note there are no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. No ironing board or hair blow dryer either. This room comes with the bare minimum to survive a cheap desperate overnight stay; a bed, bathroom, tv, and sink with thin towels, toiletries, and soap. I didn't mind the surrounding area and didn't find the hwy to be a nuisance. Overall, I cannot complain for the price I paid. Would I stay here again? Probably not since I don't plan on visiting Monterey Bay anytime soon. However, if I had to and in desperate measure didn't want to shell out three figures a night I would consider it. Read more
