If you need a place to stay for the night in this area, it's hard to beat how good a deal the Good Nite Inn is. Pros: Cheap, close to freeway, clean, cold AC, free coffee, close to shopping/food, courteous staff. Cons: Road noise, spartan rooms, old tv's. You get what you pay for. The room was clean (except for some crumbs on the floor, near the bed), sheets, towels were clean. In the room there is no fridge or microwave. There is only a single microwave at the reception. Also at the reception there are some vending machines for snacks and drinks. Nearby there is the Camarillo Premium Outlet (with many […] brand shops, is at 5 min walk distance) and a Target grocery store (at 15 min walk distance, across the freeway). The only things I didn't like about this place: 1. the outside noise from the freeway (because hotel is next to it) and 2. the wifi is payable (this is free in most hotels these days, even cheap ones). We had a very bad experience at this hotel for three days. When we check in, the staff was very UNFRIENDLY and had a very BAD attitude when ask him a question. Hi has no customer services training and acted as hi was mad at us for being there. Also, hi will not give out his manager's name. I stayed one night for the Camarillo Duathlon the next day. I was a little hesitant because of the current 2- star rating but I didn't feel like paying a lot for just one night. The rate was great ($49 after taxes) and it was only 1 mile away from where the race was being held. The bed was a little too soft for my taste but it didn't bother me that […] much. Late check-out was available but the front desk said I had to call at 9 AM on the day of to see if it was ok. I had to leave at 6:30 AM for the race so I took everything with me. There are newer, softer, pillow top mattresses in some rooms. Acceptable budget accommodations. I'd probably call it a one star rather than two, but at this price I got what I expected.

for the price it was a very good choice. room is small but enough to do what you went to do. bed is semi comfy thou you only get 2 pillows. the room was very clean. i was able to sleep but if you're awake you can hear whats going on. over all for the price it was good. like they say you get what u pay for.
