Great value hotel. Handicap access ramps are impossible--they run in front of the parking areas at an angle that if a vehicle is at the curb marker, the front end of the vehicle blocks the wheelchair access ramp. Other than the front door to the lobby, access to the rooms is difficult. I also booked this room because it is attached to what is supposed […] to be a 24 hour restaurant--including neon sign "Open 24 hours" but was closed each night. The guys behind the counter were great. We were in one of the furthest rooms from the office and the wi-fi didn't reach. The phone didn't work. General upkeep could have been better. The motel is away from the hubbub of the main strip which was refreshing! Overall OK.

It was a mixed experience overall. There was really no amenties to talk about. The hotel/motel has a small pool, laundry room, free wi-fi (if it reaches your room) and a snack breakfast. I was disappointed to see that the contential breakfast was nothing more than a cup of coffee and a piece of bread. The room was small but had good air conditioning. […] The service personal were of no help when it came to the two questions that I had. Overall the stay was a bit uncomfortable because I had my three children with me and this motel is not kid friendly. NO fridge or microwave unless we wanted to pay $10 extra per night so make sure you read what comes with the room and then call the hotel/motel before you reserve to confirm what the room comes with. It was decent for a simple two night stay, you have to rent your fridge/microwave, but the bed is comfortable and you have A/C. The people that were there for the same event my friends and I were going to, made the days there more enjoyable in an otherwise empty-feeling place. I heard there was one suite in the whole place that actually had a jacuzzi and a small kitchen, but it was booked months in advance. for the price it was horrible. the hotel just took advantage of EDC being close. but after police re-routed traffic after the event, It would of been easier to stay on the vegas strip. took twice as long to get back to the hotel.

When I checked-in, the clerk said that I had requested a "SMOKING" room, and tha's not what I booked with Hotels.com on-line. He printed the reservation and showed it to me and said that that's what he would have to give me. When I told him, "Then I will get my money back!", he then siad, "Be patient with me." We went on a last minute trip to Las Vegas to visit family and every hotel near the strip was occupied. This was the closest hotel with vacancy near our family and the strip, which was pretty far. The condition of the room was as expected for a motel. However, I was disappointed that they weren't very accommodated. I requested for a non-smoking room but ended up with a smoking one because hotels.com reps put in a wrong order. I asked to change to a non-smoking room and they told us they can't do it ;(. I won't stay at this hotel again!!!

The hotel needs a lot of upgrade. The ice machine was not working and the breakfast was not really a breakfast. candy bars and coffee could not really considered as breakfast. Internet only worked from time to time. For the price I paid I could have stayed with one of the casino hotels on the Strip.

Very poor amenities. There wasn't one working soda machine, though they had 4 (that I saw) on the property. Daily cleanings were obviously rushed, and not carried out in a fashion of other Super 8's I have stayed in. The facilities are run down and have that dirty because I am old feel. Hotel was fine for what it is, remember its a Super 8 not the Bellagio. Needed a cheap place to stay near Las Vegas Motor Speedway and its right down the street. Only complaint was that outside noise comes through the walls pretty easily, also the wi-fi was a little spotty but fast when it worked.

I didn't expect high luxury with that price for one room and one night. But that was just disgusting. Dirty towels, dirty toilet, black curled hair in the bathroom. The mattress was covered in plastic foil under the bed linen. Felt like sleeping upon a huge diaper. Please don't waste your money!

I normally stay at super 8 hotels anyplace else, and most super 8s are the best, but this super 8 hotel was a dump. The front desk personnel were not friendly at all because we wanted more towels, they practically had a fit and questioned it. There were no refrigeratotr or microwaves in the rooms and you had to pay an extra 10.00 per day for each.. […] We tried using their laundry facilties and they didn't work and we lost money, the air condition worked a little, but it wasn't that good. We stay at the Super 8 Nellis every time we travel to MATS. Very close to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. There is room to turn a car trailer around, though those with 24' trailers and up should consider leaving them at the track. The pool is not heated, so is handy for dares amongst fellow racers! The staff was friendly....but the condition of the room was poor. The bed felt like I was sleeping on the exposed box springs. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced. It was disappointing to stay in this motel this go-around. We found the motel dirty, lights did not work, could not get heat out of the air/heat unit, bathroom was dirty, and they advertised a continental breakfast which never materialized. Overall, a very poor experience. We will not stay there again until some changes are made.

If needing a spot to crash in North Las Vegas Nellis, a comfortable spot would be at the Super 8 Motel. Friendly staff was very informative and helpful. Rooms surprisingly well kept as neighborhood was under some renovation. I would stay there again and again.
