For the price, Hotel Borobudur was a good value. The gym and pool are great and it's nice to be surrounded by green -- very unusual for Jakarta. A little annoying to be charged $15/day for Internet, but at least that was clear at the time of the booking.

Breakfast buffet was not good - hot food was cold, quite tasteless. Bogor cafe food was of average quality, at best. Concierge coudl not easily recommend restaurants in the area - kept sending you to the mall. For a hotel of this perceived standard, there should be at least one place where there was free WiFi - in this age of the internet this should have been included in the room. A very pleasant stay. A wide variety of tastes in the various restaurants. Comfortable business centre. An excellent swimming pool for a relaxing few minutes early in the morning and after work in the evening. Staff were always courteous and helpful.

This was my 2nd stay at Borobudur; I came back to this hotel because I was impressed by it the 1st time I went there about 6 years ago. Then, I liked the fact that smack in the middle of city, was this hotel with such a sprawling ground with enough space for a running track. I took advantage mostly of the fitness ctre and pool. This time, I was busy […] with my mum visiting relatives so the hotel was just meant for sleeping; wished I had time to use the facilities. The only problem (for my mum actually) that the room was still too cold altho we had the air-con off for the whole day. Other than that, this is one grand hotel in Jkt that I like. Entry and exit were a nightmare of an experience, but fortunately the 4-day stay was very pleasant. Hotel has a 2 PM check-in policy and we landed at 11 AM after a night long flight from Delhi. Our request during booking through Expedia was totally ignored and we had to wait in the lounge till 2 PM. This hotel is not only famous, but extremely comfortable to stay in..its like an oasis in the middle of a hustle bustle city. If one is here for business or leisure Borobudur is recommended. The hotel serves excellent breakfast and the Italian restaurant is out of the world. The staff is extremely courteous.

We were booked in a supreme de-luxe room which was more expensive and less comfortable than the superior room we last stayed in. The front desk explained that we were paying extra for the "atmosphere" of the room! It beats me. First stayed in this Hotel in 1975 for about 2 months. The Hotel is very clean and service is excellent. It is located near the main Street of Jakarta, within the shopping and business centre. In view of Jakarta's traffic problems, it is very convenient location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend my highly.

The actual hotel is beautiful and it has an old world charm. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we did book a tour and some of the information we were given was incorrect so maybe a bit of training is needed in some places. I probably would not have been so disappointed with my stay at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta had my expectations not been set for a 5 star hotel. I have stayed in 3.5 star hotels that were better maintained and serviced. Paint peeling, air-conditioning vent blackened with mold, ironing board cover burned and mutilated (I wouldn't touch my shirts to it), […] bathroom tile grout chipping and full of dirt/ or mold, bathroom door only half-opens before hitting toilet bowl, window sills dirty, and other minor maintenance short-comings. The people who served guests seemed genuinely kind and eager to help, but it was obvious that they lacked proper training, organization and leadership. The grounds, lobby, dining hall, lounge and gardens- in contrast to the condition of the room I stayed in- were very nice. They are grand, well designed and properly maintained. Staff running these common areas however, once again, seemed eager to serve but absolutely lost and unorganized. They were not rude as most smiled and greeted us at every opportunity, but getting service we asked for, or an answer to a simple question, or even a warm cup of tea was always a challenge. At 3.5 stars and 50 to 60% of the cost, this hotel would probably have met my expectations. Read more

I chose this hotel because I had stayed here seven years ago, and I recalled the nice gardens with a 700 metre walking/jogging path. I also liked the lounge with its silver tea service and live entertainment after 8pm. I've been going to S.E. Asia for 30 yrs. I've stayed in "no star" and 5 star hotels. Borobudur is amongst the best of Asia's 5 star hotels. It is literally an oasis in this vibrant city. Centrally located to most meaningful monuments, embassies, financial institutions and malls. It is very well maintained and kept very clean. Has good restaurants and […] eating places for every palate. Management, right down to the doormen are very pleasant and helpful. Value for money spent is good. After a tiring day I love to relax in the olympic size pool or workout in a large well equipped gym. I leave the 9 tennis and 1 basket ball court to the younger crowd. The rooms are decent, nothing to shout about...but given the price, fair value for Jakarta. Location is ok for business in the financial area, short cab rides to everything, but nothing within walking distance, so be prepared to pay 4/5 star prices for every little thing from coffee to snacks to bottled water, and all meals, becuase you can't just […] hop across the street and pay local prices. The hotel was quite full when I was there and looks like all the guests had breakfast included, so the staff were very busy and they had trouble keeping up with refilling the buffet, clearing the tables, etc. at times, entire trays were picked clean at the same time...and you had to come back later to get food. ボロブドゥールホテルには仕事で5回以上宿泊しているのですが、毎回予約と違う部屋に通されます。 大きな部屋を予約したのに小さい部屋だったり、ダブルベットがツインだったり、喫煙が禁煙だったりします。 チェックイン時に部屋を振り分けるようで、その時に空いていないと違う部屋になってしまうのかもしれません。 違う部屋を要求するともめて30分以上かかり、翌日以降の部屋変更になったりもします。 掃除はまあまあ良いですが、バスタブの清掃がやや不十分な時があります。 それ以外のサービスは良好で、ホテルのスタッフはとてもフレンドリーです。 バーはやや高めですが雰囲気も良く、スペシャルカクテルが美味しいです。 朝食は種類が豊富なので、頻繁に宿泊するのでなければ十分満足できると思います。 マッサージはとても上手 […] なので、時間があったら受けてみてはいかがでしょうか。 価格の割に上質なホテルだとは思いますが、チェックインの問題が解消されない限り、次回は別のホテルに宿泊しようと思います。 Read more

한마디로 아주 불쾌한 경험이었음. 첵인한 다음날 예약이 하루만 되어있다고 하여 호텔스닷컴에서 받은 영수증을 보여주면서 '먼가 착오가 있는것 같다'고 하니 인정하고 하는 짓을 첵아웃할때까지 5번 반복함. 3일째부터는 매일 프론트로 가서 새 키로 받아야 했음. 좀 저렴한 만큼 멍청한 직원을 반복적으로 대해야 하는 희생을 감수해야 할 각오를 필요로 함.

ホテルの庭は熱帯植物とプールがうまく調和しており、夜はスポットライトもあっていい雰囲気を醸し出しています。ロビーの調度品や絵も満足行きましたが、レセプションに英語の発音か酷い人がいてたかたがチェックインするのにかなり手間取ってしまったことと、部屋は一番上のクラスのものを頼んだのにバスタブがなかったりびっくりした。最初にバスタブの有無を確認しておいた方がよいと思われる。
