Travelodge Edmonton Airport - Leduc

I always stay at this hotel when I fly through Edmonton. Efficient shuttle, close to airport, clean rooms, nice and welcoming staff. Great place for in between flights sleep.

Good to claim and have breakfast included in the booking, but it was very disappointing in quality and choice, and you have to go there early since food runs out fast and they don't refill. We requested the hotel in advance for an airport pickup at midnight, but the front desk simply didn't answer the phone when we arrived at the airport. The staff were amazing! We flew into Edmonton too late for most restaurants, including pizza delivery. The front desk staff showed us to the continental breakfast kitchen and let us pick out whatever we wanted to bring to our room. Our room had a kitchenette, so we made continental dinner - for FREE - awesome!

I was able to walk to restaurants, pharmacy, shopping etc. Did not need to use taxi. Also free shuttle to and from airport with friendly helpful drivers. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly also. I'd stay there again, especially considering the reasonable price and cleanliness of the rooms.

We didn't stay. We pulled up to the hotel and I immediately knew what we were in for. The reception was miserable and the room had cheerios and gummy bears on the floor as well as thick dust all around the edges of the furniture and walls. The sockets/outlets looked as though they hadn't been wiped in years (something you look at when you are travelling […] with toddlers). The bathroom however was the cleanest part of the room. stay was fine, this is a oil field hotel they cater to oil fieldworkers, stayed three nights, first night the adjoining roomtookshower at 0300 banging pipes woke me up. Well I arrived at the hotel, and getting checked in was not bad. The room how ever was 30 degrees with the thermostat off, when I called the front desk I wa told to open the window. In the end I asked for another room and there were not any available. So I had to turn on the AC and have the window open. (its 2 degree outside) It gets worse yet The room […] phone started to ring once every 20 minutes or so just once then it would stop. Again I called the front desk. I was told... "It happens Just unplug your phone, but plug it back in before you go to to bed so you can get your wake up call." So you can guess how the night went. When we arrived the girl at the front desk was not very friendly, we were booked into a room on the third floor, which was so hot we could not sleep. Tried to open the windows, but they only open a few inches. Air quality in the room was very poor, we should have asked […] for a different room, but due to the fact that we were leaving early we stayed in the room (but were unable to sleep). Chose this place for the price, staff at the hotel were accommodating, and rooms were clean. The shuttle driver however is annoying and lazy. Complained that I had too many bags, that they were too heavy and could hurt his back and that I was taking too long (to put them in the truck myself).
