you get what you pay for . room was clean, average older hotel.staff friendly, food good. had issue with maid entering on a do not disturb tag. also hotel allows weekly rental and they may scare singles or young families, also club on premises gets pretty busy.

room and staff were great. just wasn't real crazy about there being a bar right beside the restuarant. seemed to be a lot of locals being noisey. but it was race weekend so it's probably expected. but i would stay there again if needed.

The outside appearance was the first clue that this was not a good choice. The 18 wheelers and motorcycles in the parking lot was the second clue and the bar with billiard tables was yet another. If I needed any more help deciding this was a bad place to stay, I saw 3 rooms before I checked out. It was absolutely DISGUSTING! I was afraid of the long term stay clientle and would not leave my hotel room until it was light outside! And to make matters worse, the shower wasn't working in the morning with no one at the desk to complain! I expect a FULL refund!!!! SDD

I have stayed in hotels around the country for over 20 years & this was the worst night I ever stayed anywhere. I wanted a non smoking room got put in a smoking room. Then moved to a non smoking room which was in reality a smoking room. No light in bathroom used heat lamp for light, water in sink would not drain, noise all duringnight from loud people […] & motorcycles, truckers got up at 5:00 am & started their tractor trailers & let them idle for 1 1/2 hrs to warm up causing no one to be able to sleep. WOULD RATE IT LOWER THAN 1 BUT CAN'T BECAUSE 1 IS THE LOWEST RATING IT DESERVES A ZERO + AVOID AT ALL COSTS STAY IN YOUR CAR IS BETTER OPTION THAN THIS HOTEL. BE WARNED Read more

Here's our deal: we're two girls travelling in our car, and we really don't need that much glamour or nothing in our motels... but this was seriously too much for us. The first room we get, the water doesn't work, it was a smoking room (we booked a non-smoking), and it smelled unhealthy. We get anotherone, and it's just as bad. Finally, we get a "better" […] one, but still the general smell ofthe rooms is hard to be around let alone sleep in. Not that we did get much sleep as there were gangsters yelling in the parking lot. This hotel shares it's parking lot with a rowdy all night bar. The reservation was made online and paid by credit card, so I couldn't cancel it without losing my money. check in people were real nice...room was big,roomy and clean but old...the beds were so comfortable....the price was out of this world great....but i kept thinking all night that i was going to be awakend by ....."GET ON THE GROUND....WALK BACKWARDS TOWARDS THE SOUND OF MY VOICE".....that or random bullets throught the window.....

While the staff was friendly, the room was lacking. The room was clean, but showed signs of age. there were cigarette burns on the carpet and bedspreads. The toilet was barely attached to the floor. When i brought this to the attention of the front desk at checkout, they made note of it, and apologized for the problem. When I arrived at the motel there wasn't anyone at the front desk. I had to wait about 10 minutes before someone came out. When I checked in my non smoking room the blankets had holes from cigarette burns. I called front desk and then was given another room. Then in that room the blankets were ripped in several places. I stayed in that room. The hotels […] is supposed to have free wi-fi. They gave me the code and it did not work. Someone came to my room to get it to work and they couldn't get it to work either. The television did not have a remote. They said they would bring one to the room. Let's just say I am still waiting for the remote. The doors to the room are extremely hard to shut which made the doors very loud as people came in and out of their rooms until about 3 am. Outside the motel is a gas station across the street. And that is it for that exit. The motel has a bar, restaurant and pool tables on the premises. If you are in the mood to hang out at a bar, this motel may be for you. The bar has drink specials, wings, etc... And seems to be popular with the locals as well. The bar and restaurant seemed to be more appealing than the rooms. Since I was with my son, I can't really give a review on the bar's food or drinks but everyone there seemed to be content. Additionally there is an outdoor pool. I was there in the off season so obviously it was closed. But it did look like the pool and pool area was well kept. Hope this review helps. Read more
