Hotel was in a good location, easy to find. However once in the room our toilet didn't flush and when we informed the front desk they were not helpful. They suggested we "play with the handle and it will work." The towels were noticeably dirty and the iron didn't work. We chose this hotel because of the indoor pool. When we checked in the air conditioner in our room was off and it was so hot that we couldn't stand to be there. The switch that runs power to the fridge was switched off as well so it was a while before we could get our drinks cold. At one point the toilet became clogged when requesting a plunger to fix […] the problem they actually asked if we were going to bring it back. Like we were going to steal the plunger! When we finally got to the pool it was tiny. There was an 8person limit that was easily met. When getting in the hot tub to results three heat was off. I don't think I will ever stay here again. I can't believe how I was treated by management. I was scolded for going out of the side doors to smoke, locked out, and forced to walk around the building to get back in, and then he had to check my id before I could go to my room. I simply wasn't aware of designated smoking areas, and didn't understand why I was treated so disrespectfully for going […] out the side door. This hotel was fair at best. Location dictated where we stayed. Hotel is only cosmetically clean for appearance purposes. Maid service completes a once over only, no real cleaning. We had a nice, quiet, comfortable room. I feel that the value was good. We slept late one of the days and when I was leaving, the maid was outside the room because she was cleaning the room next door. I told her that we didn;t need the room cleaned but did need more towels. She said that they were being laundered and that she would bring some in a half […] an a hour. We never got them. I asked for more towels at the front desk later and the front desk person gave me one washcloth and one towel, which meant I had to request more. We tried to reuse the towels while there, but got them dirty quickly because we were moving and were pretty dirty ourselves. It was horrible. When I walked in, the attendant was on the phone (personal) and continued his conversation for at least 3 minutes while I stood there and waited. Had a hard time with communication with the front attendant....language barrier. It was hot throughout the hotel and when you walked into your room it felt like a sauna. There were no elevators […] (even though it was only a 2 story building). You had to carry your luggage up the stairs. The halls smelled like someone had been smoking throughout the entire 2nd floor. In spite of a few negative reviews which I had previously read prior to staying, I found the Days Inn to be quite clean and comfortable. I do, however, prefer and outdoor pool, and this pool is indoors. Price was right. I would stay again.

Bed very comfortable. Clean. Loved the cold water indoor pool. Don't understand people who smoke in nonsmoking sections of motels (and/or ventilation systems that can't filter it out? Not sure which. Think someone was actually smoking in a non-smoking room on our floor), How sad that people don't understand the very severe health problems that smoke […] causes some of us. It isn't just trying to be mean to smokers, or petty, or anything else. It is the severe migraine headaches and asthma and allergies that send us to bed or the ER. They are supposed to have breakfast at 6 AM every morning. At 6:15 AM you could look thru the night window and see the man sleeping. When I rang the bell, he told me that 'they are preparing' give them 15 minutes. We found a coffee-colored stain on the sheets--as if they had not been changed from the last occupant--and called the front desk to have them changed. Close to hwy 635 with ample parking the Days in is a great place for a few days. The Indoor Pool and Hot Tub was small but very relaxing and will be great through this coming winter. Breakfast offerings were meager but adequate. Room was very comfortable and furnished well.

This Hotel was a nice hotel. There was new carpet and it didnt smell like an old hotel. The only thing was the water smelled and tasted like dirt, the light over the vanity was very dim like it needed some work. There was only 2 towels for 2 adults. Upon checkin clerk tried to get me to leave credit card. I refused because room was prepaid. Then he presented me a slip for MC charge for signature. Card was NOT mine. After first nite in room, A/C stopped working. Had to change rooms. Despite my prepaid 5 night stay, they elected to have my electronic keys expire within every 24 hr period. When I […] complained, they said it's due to cell phones. BS I worked in credit card industry for 12 yrs and I know about mag strips. Maids cleaned rooms never checked for empty toilet paper or left regular coffee packs (plenty of decaf). Pool was green and closed 3 days of stay. No elevator, had to carry luggage to second floor. No downstairs rooms available despite the place being nearly empty. Hands down if not the Worst experience I've had, it was 2nd worst (both at DaysInn). Interestingly enough, I stayed at his location more than a year ago and it was 1000% better. No telephone in room so had to walk downstairs to front desk. When pool finally opened, asked for 5 pool towels for my grandson and his family to come and swim. (Why I booked this hotel with pool in first plc). I was told I could only have 2 so that other guests would have some. What other guests (empty parking lot). For a few dollars more Microtel on Pendleton in Garland a much better option!! Read more

The blow dryer didnt work. Ask for an extra pillow and never got it. The plug for the air conditioner did not work unless you wiggled the plug. Over all bad place and service. Never again!!!
