Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don’t miss the futuristic main library. Seattle’s twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Seattle for business and it was perfect! The price was great and especially for what I got. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room is lovely, I had a great view of the city and the bathroom is luxurious! Its a quick walk down to Pike's and just about any shopping and eating you want. I would almost make it a point to stay here again.

We came here for the weekend to celebrate my husband's b-day and it was great beginning with leaving the car with the valet, until we checked out!! No complaints... and the restaurant was terrific. You can walk almost anywhere downtown to eat, shop and play or sightsee... if you want, a cab ride isn't expensive and the bus is free in downtown.

Hotel is in downtown Seattle, It is perfectly located close to eateries, and attractions. We got there for three nights before a cruise. We got a corner standard room. It included a living-room space, a separate full bathroom, and the "bedroom" area. The bedroom are is too small and crammedz. We brought three suitcases and two bags, and we had a hard time being able to walk in the room. The bathroom had a separate all-glass shower stall, really nice. The shower head was fixed, making hard to showre without getting your hair wet. Bath tub has no shower head, only a waterfall-type spout. View was to the roof of the meeting areas, and other hotels, nothing panoramic. Motorized Window Shades a plus!. Otherwise, outstanding.

The room was really nice, huge closet, bathroom with large tub & separate shower (marble floors & granite counters made it feel luxurious). The staff was always courteous & helpful. I was having trouble sleeping due to a snoring room mate. The front desk provided me with earplugs. At checkout, they said I had used a water & were going to charge me. My puzzled expression and genuine bafflement as to when that might have occurred prompted an immediate adjustment (removal) from my tab. The location of the hotel is excellent -- can walk to anything downtown. You are literally two minutes away from the convention center (why I was there). I even walked to Volunteer Park, although it is a bit of a hike. Great place -- I recommend it & would go back again in a hearbeat!

We got a corner suite which had awesome views of the Space needle, downtown and the water. Great location, walking distance to Pikes Place Market and most downtown attractions. Good service and very friendly staff. Rooms are well maintained, the cleaning crew could have done a better job - there were a couple of coffee stains that they didnt clean out. The bed is comfy and the ipod radio dock was a bonus. Only minor complaint is that they charge for WiFi

This was a return visit to the Hyatt based on a previous positive stay and they outdid themselves. Every single person we had contact with was super friendly and helpful. And that is a rarity. We got an excellent rate, but upon arrival were upgraded to a beautiful suite on the 28th floor. The hotel is very clean. The only small infraction was that the couch in our suite had a few spots that needed steam cleaning, and a part of the wall in the bedroom needs some touching up. But besides the slight wear and tear, it was very clean. And I am very picky, I bring my own lysol and etc. to hotels and forgot to use it here. We will definitely go back. They are also very kid friendly, we have three young children.

This hotel was missing quite a few ammenities that I was expecting for the price of the "Corner Suite". We had to pay extra for internet, there was no complimentary breakfast, no microwave, and very limited television stations. My last complaint is the mini fridge is for the mini bar only. You cannot even put anything in it (leftovers, etc.) without being charged due to the fact it was weight sensitive. It was a pretty, hotel, but it did not meet many of my basic expectations.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and plan to stay there again soon. The only downside, parking is not included in your room price, so expect to pay extra, or take your chances finding other parking in the area. We parked at the hotel and had no problems so it was in the end worth what we paid for it.
