I was quite worried when I booked because it was quite cheap. I believe on the adage that you got what you pay for. I payed cheap so i should get cheap room and cheap service. I was totally surprised when i entered our room. It was roomy, very clean, looks luxurious, does not smell cigarette smoke and looks new. It was so clean that i just had my 1 year old crawl on the carpet. I was the best deal I had for the money. My wife who is so picky commented i did a great job. my only complain is that when you enter the hotel to register the smell of cigarette smoke is overwhelming. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when we visit las vegas.

It's clear that someone tried to put a nice finish upgrade on a basic room. Unfortunately they cheaped out on the parts used to make that decision. Being a casino hotel I guess I expected a little better...but when I saw the rate I'm no longer surprised at what I got. There were some fake pillars, you could see the half mark separation. The wallpaper was peeling off. There were numerous black scuff marks on the wall - like someone got pissed and kicked it repeatedly. In the bathroom the fixtures were a faded brass. The couch was dirty. The carpet was dirty and looked as if it hadn't been steamed in years. The only thing presentable in the room was the bed - and the bed was hard as a rock. It's all a shame, because the general appearance of the room otherwise was quite nice. I had no issues with the styling - I just wish they had taken better care of the rooms and used nicer fixtures. The biggest negative was poor insulation - I could hear the next room's bathroom going, which is odd. I've been in many hotels and this has never happened, not as loud as this. Positives were the view - I had a fairly clear view of the Strip - and the LG plasma screen, even though I didn't use it much. They touted "free in room coffee", but that was nothing more than a rinky dink coffee maker that put out cheap coffee. I was expecting something more robust. I didn't use it, because I don't drink tap water and that's all they had - no bottled water available (yes I know they're from the same source, but bottled water has been purified and treated for a better taste). I was only needing the room for one night so I wasn't too disappointed. But I can't recommend this to anyone unless you just need a cheap room in the area.

Clean, roomy, nicely appointed for the price. Friendly staff and many on-site venues make it a fun getaway destination. Your not in downtown Las Vegas so you don't have the noise and traffic, but your just minutes away from the strip for dinner and a show. Your blocks from the 215 beltway which means you have easy access to all of the other attractions in the area like Red Rocks, Hoover Dam and Mt. Charleston. When your stay is over your 15 minutes down the 215 to the car rental return (follow the signs) and your on your way to the airport and home.

I was in Las Vegas to attend a wedding at a hotel next door to the Suncoast. I was absolutely shocked when I walked into the room! It was huge! The room was spotless, the staff was exceptional, from the desk receptionist to the housekeeper. I will stay at this hotel again, however, when I do, I will request a room on an upper floor, as my room overlooked the air conditioning equipment. The views of the mountains and golf course were beautiful but can only be appreciated from an upper floor room.

The first thing that happened was, at check-in, the hotel was adding a $5 a day 'Resort Fee', plus a $.75 a day newspaper charge. These to the best of my knowledge were not disclosed at the time of booking. The hotel management said that they couldn't do anything about it. And there were no 'comps' offered. This being Las Vegas and all, you would think that they would offer something.

The other buffets offer a wide selection and are quite tasty, too. Our room was comfortable. The welcome basket was a nice touch. The view of the golf course is pretty. The casino has lower minimum bet tables which is nice for the lower rollers in your family. The pool was incredibly warm (a plus) but not big enough (a minus.)

This hotel is a great property and is highly recommended. My room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The hotel is surrounded by golf courses and large condo buildings. A vehicle is an absolute necessity. There are restaurants nearby, but few within walking distance. Only two other casinos are remotely nearby. The hotel does have a good staff and their customer relations are good. If you feel the need to get away from the Strip, this may be your place.

The only bad thing was the security guards, only one in particular was a little over zealous. Kids couldn't even stand anywhere near the slots.
