Attractive signage, easy to find. Seems to be in a "not very good area" although Dekalb County Police drove through the parking lot often. The amenities were 2 bars of soap. No blanket, hair dryer, coffee, etc. Cigarette burns on furniture and countertop as well as bedspread. I arrived late. Signs in lobby said YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES TO LET US KNOW IF YOUR […] ROOM IS UNACCEPTABLE. A family member was having surgery early the next morning so I just needed a place to sleep. I'm sure the manager (very kind) could've provided some of the items I expected but I was uncomfortable leaving my room or having anyone come to my door. Honestly, tho', there wasn't any discrepancy from the ad and the hotel. I should've been more aware of previous guests' ratings. It served my purpose at an extremely reasonable rate. Read more

Comfortable bed but overall the room was very dirty. Stained sheets. Musty smell to the room. I kept my clothes in plastic to try to avoid the smell.

I requested a none smoking room but as soon as we stepped in the room the stale smell of smoke hit us in the face. I signed in late due to church service at 3 am and had to be out by 11 am so I did not get the fullness of my stay or my money's worth. But the phone customer service was excellent.

In addition to the desk clerk having closed the lobby area before 7 p.m. (which made me suspicious of the neighborhood immediately), the clerk herself was curt, impolite. Then, the room itself! Smelly of mold and cigarettes (although it was supposed to be non-smoking), with several holes burned on the dirty, raggedy bed comforter (the ONLY blanket beside […] the bedsheet); and also all sorts of burns all over the sink. Don't stay here. Sketchy neighborhood, room was in bad condition, chair was stained, showerhead didnt work, counter was broken. Kind of a gross place. There is a Motel 6 across the street... they are always clean and cheap. Stay there.

This motel is located in a not very nice area. Our bed linens were stained and very worn looking. There were holes in the walls around the electrical outlets and open light bulbs exposed (with no lamp covers). The toilet had a chunk missing from the inside and the shower was extremely dirty. Money-wise, it's a pretty good deal. The location is a mixed review...it's near a highway and other hotels. but it's not walking distance from anything, which is unfortunate for those of us who didn't have a car. The room smelled funny, and the shower made a loud humming noise, which got annoying after a while. The hotel room was extremely nasty. It smelt of smoke and medicine. The sheets were not fitted on the bed properly which indicated that they had not been changed from the last use. I asked for clean sheets but was refused. The only good thing about the stay was the employee who checked me in. He was very pleasant and offered me another room but that […] room was worse than the first. Free Wi-Fi was advertised but it was not working half of the times. The toilet was clogged and the carpet was so dirty that I refused to walk barefeet the entire time. The carpet had cigarette burns as well. The matress sank in the middle. My Goodness, there are poor people with class and I am one of them. I understand you get what you pay for but at least the environment could have been clean. It didn't have things like I thought it said it did. No fridge, microwave, or hair dryer. Also didn't have enough towels and wash clothes. Called the front desk and they said it would be morning before we could get any. So I went to Walmart to buy some. Then some idiot was banging on our door at 3:30 am. Not just once but twice. Had to call about that. […] Not to mention while on the way to Walmart we saw a woman getting picked up by the cops. Then while we were gone the next morning Mom put the maid service sign out so the room could be cleaned, and she wrote a note to leave more bath linen. We came back that evening no had been there. Mom called the front desk and they said the maid said we had the do not disturb sign out. NO it wasn't! Anyways the maintenance guy had to bring the stuff because the maid had already left. Anyways I would only stay there if you need a cheap room and don't care about any of the stuff I just wrote about. Oh and also they keep the lobby locked unless they buzz you in. Certainly isn't a 4-star hotel, but for the money it's a decent value. Good location, right off the interstate and relatively close to things. The beds aren't the best, but not too bad. Cable TV is a plus.

The pool is small so it is very warm. The room smelled very chemical-deorderantly, like alot of that carpet fresh powder had been spread. Front desk was nice but only one cart for luggage.
