Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

The hotel is old and it shows. Our room had a musty smell that was strong enough to keep me awake for several hours. It was also a little dusty. The hotel staff were good, but really, I consider a clean, well-maintained hotel the very minimum requirement in any of my stays, so this was very disappointing.
At The Fairmont Waterfront we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and it is extremely disappointing to read such a comment as it is not indicative of our typical guest's experience. The Fairmont Waterfront has recently renovated over 70% of our guestrooms and have made additional updates in those remaining rooms, and are working on completing the remaining rooms. We sincerely apologize that we did not meet this guest's expectations and welcome any further feedback

"A Repeat Great Experience at this Fine Hotel"
Prior to this trip, we already had a previous excellent experience at the Fairmont Waterfront a year earlier and this was no different. As with my previous trip, we found the front desk staff to be nothing short of friendly, courteous, and professional. They were also pleasant to speak with before my trip when I phoned to inquire about an early check […] in. Once again, my room was immaculate and the large window gave stunning views of this beautiful city. Other rooms offer breathtaking views of the Canada Place pier and beyond across the water to North Vancouver and the mountains. While we could not see the water from our room, we was nevertheless overwhelmed by the beauty of the sunrise reflecting on all the buildings of the city. The location of the hotel is excellent for me as well. We arrived in Vancouver by rail and then took the SkyTrain to the hotel but I understand that travelers arriving by air can now take the SkyTrain to the hotel as well. A fun and convenient water taxi to North Vancouver is there as well, so we enjoyed a quick sunset cruise following an enjoyable dinner in the nearby Gas Light district. I departed Vancouver by cruise ship, and being able to walk out the front of the hotel and see the ship right there was really fun for us. The whole experience was so nice that we have already eagerly booked another stay at the Fairmont Waterfront prior to another cruise we have booked next summer. Read more

The Fairmont Waterfront was most convenient for our one-night stay in Vancouver after disembarking from our Alaskan cruise. Tourist information and tour bus pickup were right across the street. "Great room for the money"
Our room was located in the back part of the hotel facing the garden and office buildings. We felt like we got a fantastic deal for the price until we met a guy in the elevator that paid $20 a night less on this same site and got a corner room on the 22 nd floor with a view of the water. We were still very satisfied as it was right across the street […] from the cruise terminal and the hop on hop off trolley stops right on Canada Place. went here with wife, daughter and her boy friend and we all had a great stay. we payed for the kids room as a birthday present and they could not thank us enough .great hotel in great location just away from main streets but in easy walking distance would recommend to anyone who wants a fantastic stay in vancouver.
"Ideal Location"
We were delighted with the quality of the hotel for such a great price. We had a lovely, quite large, room with a view of the harbor. The pool area, restaurant and excellent service convinced us that we would definitely stay there again. We could walk to several great restaurants, shopping and catch a tour to just about anywhere.
"Great location for cruises"
Perfect location for those who are taking cruises to Alaska. The terminal is right across the street, and the bell staff will check your bags with the cruise line for you. Decor is pretty generic, but pleasant. Close enough to the shopping districts to easily walk there, but there aren't any interesting shops or restaurants right by the hotel.

This was our family's first stay hotel in Vancouver. We were joining a cruise trip to Alaska and so we picked this hotel which was just by the side of Canada Place. Although we only stayed one night, prior to our cruise, it was wonderful. Extremely comfortable, friendly, helpful. great view of mountains and water from our very large window. Had terry cloth robes for our use, they were a bit scratchy, could of used some fabric softner. but overall wonderful..

I had a lovely stay at this hotel when I was in for business. I am a runner -- the seawall is right there and the General Manager offered to run with us early in the morning to show us the route. Great when they go that extra mile!!

Found the hotel and services good. But found all the extras extremely expensive. Only one cup of caffeinated coffee for two people. Only basics came with the room, everything was an extra. Parking, internet.

"Parking warning"
This deal did not come with free parking or any mention of the cost. Parking turned out to be $40.00 per day. There is cheaper parking in the vacinity if you look around. Other than that this hotel is hard to beat. The Fairmont Pacific Rim is a little newer and swankier.
"Waterfront Vancouver"
Awesome new hotel. Staff very profession and curious. The in house restaurant is outstanding and the prices are right. I had a $300 meal with friends there that I thought was going to be $500! There was limited hot water in my room but that problem was solved in a matter of a few hours with out me having to mention.

"Beautiful,Kindness,comfortable"
I stayed ４days. this hotel located center of downtown. i could go anywhere! Hotel mens were very kind and nice. And,Bacchus resutaurant is so nice!

Great hotel, location and service. We would especially recommend the breakfast buffet. Our package included breakfast and we were blown away by the service and quality of food. Can't beat a Fairmont Hotel!
