"Great Location, excellent staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Famous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.

arrived after a 24 hour flight to be told I had been upgraded. upgraded to the 5th floor with no lifts. Ruined my stay, had an elderly friend who couldn't visit as the stairs would have been too much. It's not acceptable in a hotel of this supposed standard to nit have a lift. Apart from that the accommodation was okay, not quite as spacious and luxurious […] as it appears. Don't consider staying unless you can guarantee a lower floor room. It's back to Firmdale hotels for me Read more
