The hotel is situated at the far end of a leisure complex which can get quote busy in the evenings. Reception is clean and the receptionist polite and efficient. We had to change our room as although we booked twin we were given a double but it was a blessing in disguise as the twin had air conditioning which was essential on such a warm night. The […] general decor of the hotel is very tired but generally clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good compared to the usual continental-style offered at similar hotels. Usually choose this hotel as,having driven down M6 and M1,can`t be bothered with the last few miles to central London. Plenty of parking,clean rooms,opening windows,adequate breakfast.Full of white van men during the week.Very handy for Cafe Rouge and David LLoyd but we usually eat at the Flask Highgate or the Green Dragon A1000.

Only stayed for three nights but couldn't have any complaints. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Train station within walking distance and other services such as restaurant, cinema, and fast food chains very close by.

The hotel was well placed for us (myself and husband) as we were visiting family it was clean comfortable wuth some areas requiring alittle maintanance and mondernisation. The staff at this hotel are the best I've ever come accross, nothing is too much trouble. Hotel is clean and well maintained. The only thing that lets it down is the distance to the nearest tube station which is a 20 minute walk or a fiver in a taxi. Plenty of free parking. Basic, but adequate accommodation in a slightly tired hotel. Lots of road noise despite double glazing. Despite being a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke, possibly from a long time previously. An air freshener could probably have helped remedy it, and or airing the room. Staff were friendly and came to assist with the broken/damaged […] door lock. , The bed was comfortable and I slept well. To note, there is one twin plug socket in the room as the lamps, clock radios etc are wired directly into the walls- one of the plug sockets was taken with the TV, the other used for the kettle or phone charging. I would say it's a budget nights sleep with the caveat of not expecting anything too great, so probably not recommending it to someone I wanted to keep as a friend. We'd paid for breakfast, but chose to go elsewhere, a decision based primarily on the stale smoke smell in the room. Read more

I thought it was adequate for a one night stay and good value for London. It's in a very hectic area (I stayed a Saturday night). The room was adequate but could do with a refurb. No snacks in the bar, so had to buy from the machine and take them back in there!

Good locatiion for where we needed (Highgate) 10mins taxi or the 263 Bus. Very helpful staff (think they were all Greek) in Flames, the restaurant/bar. Apart from Flames, it is all looking a little tired, but the beds were comfortable and clean. bathroom clean with a strong smell of bleach, always a good sign!

We stay here 2 or 3 times a year, 1) Because the hotel is near to where we want to be, 2) Because the hotel is good value, and 3) Because we like way we are treated by the staff. Some rooms are not as good as others e.g. this time we were given a room for a disabled person on the ground floor. Handy for us off M1 near Highgate.Good bus service to Northern Line at E. Finchley.Opening window,radiator and air con. so we were more comfortable than some 4-star hotels. It is a basic workaday hotel.Good self serve breakfast but continentals might be disappointed.Interesting holes in bedroom walls but clean.

Vi valgte hotellet pga. belligenhed/pris i forhold til Alexandras Palace. Hotellet virker lidt slidt. Værelset trænger til renovering. Vi beklagede os over en meget støjende ventilator på badeværelset. Vi blev lovet at denne ville blive repareret, men det skete aldrig.

Grote parkeerplaats voor de deur. -/- Wel wat verder afgelegen van het centrum dan we verwachtten. We waren met de bus ruim 45 minuten onderweg naar Swiss Cottage, waar familie woont. Goed hotel als je met de wagen bent. Ruime, gratis parking. Als voetganger kan je de bus voor het hotel nemen, of de underground op ongeveer 1 km. Ontbijtbuffet, zowel continentaal als English breakfast, is goed verzorgd en je kan vanaf 7.00 uur ontbijten.
