Was very close to Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon Falls -- great place to stay for seeing the fall colors in Michigan -- we'll be back again. The room was as well kept as when the hotel was a Best Western! Staff was well knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

I got into town on the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 9th with the Tasquamenon Falls Brewery being my primary destination and the secondary destination being The Shipwreck Museum. The weather was crummy so I didn't hike to the falls. The Brewery was a disappointment and due to my misreading of the web page for the museum or the page not being accurate I […] didn't prioritize my time properly and arrived at the museum 40 minutes before closing. This didn't seem like enough time to take in all the museum had to offer beside the receptionist being about as friendly as a prison guard. When I got back to the hotel looking for something to eat I found out that Paradise was closed but the lady at the desk was helpful in pointing out that Silver Creek (a little country bar down the road) served food until 10:00 PM. The hotel was just fine and the gal behind the desk was extremely polite, efficient, and helpful. Everything else except the Silver Creek burgers sucked which is hardly your fault now is it? Thanks for reading this tongue-in-cheek drivel and please let the receptionist know that she's doing a good job as so infrequently people tell you when you've done things right. wonderful. Right on Lake Superior. Great hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, 8 grain bread (toasted was yummy). Beautiful, spacious room. Absolutely no complaints. Couldn't have been any better!!

This is a truly great hotel. Very friendly, helpful, courteous and especially kind to travelers who had been on the road for hours. I can't say enough good things about this place. Would most definately stay here again. The room was clean and service outstanding. Breakfast was hot with many food choices and a pleasant view over Whitefish Bay.

This is our 2nd year at staying at this hotel although it was a Best Western last year. The fantastic service still continues. The hotel is located in Paradise which is so fitting. Excellent Hotel - Very clean, great location, nice pool for the kids. The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located right on the lake - stairs take you down to the beach off the back of the hotel. Close to the falls and White Fish Pointe.

This hotel was a "wow!" in the middle of a very small hamlet nestled right upon a wonderful sandy beach within close driving of a couple of must-see attractions- Whitefish Point Lighthouse and museum and the restaurant by the falls (don't forget to do the spectacular hike which short and paved) The hotel was super clean and updated, the staff was more […] than helpful and friendly.... we truly felt like guests....pick your spot for the views of passing freighters- the poolside deck, the beach chairs in the sand, your own lake view patio, or do like we did and wade out through the crystal clear water across the large sandbar and enjoy everything Lake Superior has to offer.... Very family friendly hotel. We enjoyed the pool/hot-tub/sauna and had a great view of the lake from our room. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is very clean. The stay was great. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The surronding area is beautiful and there is a lot to do if your willing to take a drive. It should be noted that all the surronding businesses close by nine pm or earlier. In other words make sure you eat early and be ok with NO night life!

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms clean and dreamy. The view was fantastic and breathtaking. The breakfast was top notch. I would definately come back. The falls were not too far away from the hotel. The only negative thing I have to say is there are no good eating places right close to the hotel.

The moment we walked into this Best Western in Paradise, Michigan, we knew we were in for a good stay. Opposite the main doors, a stone fireplace is in the center of the lobby, framed from behind from a beautiful, arching picture window framing a gorgeous view of Lake Superior. the website suggested that the hotel was 30 miles from the Soo...double that! When I mentioned this to the person at the desk, she said "yea, I know". Really? An extra 40 minutes of travel I had not planned on. If you are going to Tahquamanon falls, it is 15-20 minute drive.

We loved this hotel! Had a view facing the water, which was breathtaking. The private beach is small, but sandy with a few lounge chairs available. Only complaint was that the wireless internet did not work in our room. Had to go to the lobby to use our computer.

The hotel staff were all very friendly helping to make our stay more enjoyable. We enjoyed the beach, pool/hot tub and morning breakfast buffet. Other then a few room updates, the hotel is in a perfect location on the lake.

The best hotel in this small and remote town on Lake Superior. Clean and professionally run, it has good facilities including an indoor pool and a small private beach on the lake. A very good base for exploring this beautiful area.
