      Not a bad hotel for the price. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was decent, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. It's aging a bit and could use a bit of a facelift though.

      The rooms are simple, but clean -- which is the most important criteria as far as I am concerned. The king beds do not come with the pillow top mattress cover -- we asked for it, and Becky from housekeeping put it on in five minutes. It makes a positive difference in bed comfort! By the way, all the staff were helpful, but Becky was wonderful. Her smile and eagerness to help will ensure that we book a room there again next time we visit our Radford University student.

    I spent one night here with my family on my way back to New York. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. It was big enough for a last minute... stay but if I was stayin for several days I probably would have chosen a hotel with a larger room or a suite. My room had two double beds and a pullout couch with a wet bar area. The pool area was empty because it was Easter so we enjoyed having it to ourselves.     I can recommend this hotel to anyone and specially couples and families. it is not a four star hotel do to the absence of some specific services like a restaurant but otherwise it is a five star hotel. ask for the rooms over looking the front of the hotel, beatiful and relaxing view.

    Arrived at the hotel around 11 pm. While checking in the phone rang and I have to wait for 15 minutes to get my keys. Question is which one is priority, phone booking or checking in guest that drove 5 hours straight to get there? I think it's a bit pricey too.

    Very nice place to stay. I did not like that check-in was so late - 4pm! I arrived at 1pm thinking it had a normal check-in tme to find out I had another 3 hours to wait. Even with the late check-in the check out was typical at 11am.

    The room was spacious, clean with beautiful decor. On the desk, it has 6 outlets and USB plugs, nice feature. Woke up watching cows grazing on the green grass over the otherside of the hotel's property line. Amazing.

    We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Suites because it was very close to our family reunion. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and lobby area. We were disappointed with the noisy icemaker outside our door however. We also did not like the very firm bed! In addition, the towel rack/shelf broke when we were there.

    This was a nice stay. We needed to be close to Virginia Tech and this was. The hotel was very clean and up to date and the staff very friendly.

    The room was roomy and well kept. Breakfast was very good. Only negative, alarm went off at breakfast and sounded for a good 10 minutes. Nothing was ever said to those of us eating breakfast whether to remain calm or exit the building.

    Our room did not have any heat and it was a bitter cold, windy night. We slept in hoodie sweatshirts, sweatpants, and socks. I woke up with a sore throat and am still sick three days later. We stayed here last fall and everything was perfect, so we decided to return in February. The employee at the front desk was very polite, but couldn't help us.

    I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past, but it seemed like they have slid downhill slightly from my previous stays. The breakfast wasn't as good as in the past. The towels (in the room and at the pool( seemed very thin. They did just change owners and are supposedly going through a lot of changes, including upgrading the whole hotel. […] We'll see. It was still a comfortable stay, but it seems to have gone downhill slightly from previous stays. Maybe the new owners are trying to cut some corners to increase profits. Read more

    Room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. Only suggestion would be to install more sound insulation between the rooms (could hear person brushing their teeth in next room) and a bigger door. Lots of light and sound from the hallway enter the room around and under the door. Thank you!
