We reserved 3 rooms using Expedia unpublished rate... but really do not feel this motel was even close to being a 2.5*... Now it was fine and I could easily recommend if anyone was looking for a 1 or 1.5 star but not for a 2.5. This hotel is ok, the breakfast was advertised as deluxe, but was terrible. They watered down the waffle batter and it wouldn't even cook right. The biscuits were hard and they boiled the gravy so that it was lumpy and thick.

The location of the hotel was pretty good. Near the mall and convienent to shops and restaurants. However, my room, especially the restroom were very dirts. If I hadn't checked in so late, I would have complained and requested a different room. There was hair on the bathroom floor, tub & sink.

Very low grades motel feel. The picture online of the hotel was not even close of what the hotel looks like it was not ad nice at all. The room wasn't the best. It had whiles In the wall, very very heard mattresses and no fridge. Also continual breakfast had nothing but carbs and sugar. No eggs milk or yogurt. Did not like my stay.

I wish I had looked at the hotel on the map before I left the house. Apparently the street Mississippi Dr is not on GPS units, but Melody Lane, which is the same street, is. When I called the manager, she wasn't aware of another name for this street, for some reason. She did however, give us directions on how to get there. Adequate room for Expedia unbpublished rate! Met our needs. We were also given a free upgrade to a king bed with jacuzzzi bathtub . The location was good with Old navy right across the street. The breakfast was fair. we would stay again!

It just wasn't as nice as I was led to believe. Staff was very accomodating including housekeeping. I requested and was given a different room but it was still not to my expectation. It was a nice hotel but I think I could have found a better room for the money at the new Hilton in Tupelo. I just learned a good lesson in using this kind of service.

Where do I start. The carpet was so filthy that you could not see the pattern that was visible along the edges of the room. There was mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain. The paint and wallpaper was peeling off or missing around the door. There was paint splatter all over the desk and Chair. The internet did not work. There was no printer attached […] to the lobby computer. The TV was a tube TV of a whopping 23". This hotel is in a nice location, and the staff was friendly, but they need to gut the rooms and start over. I felt filthy in the room and did not sit on anything except the bed. Although not an overall bad place to stay it could have been a bit cleaner my room had something all over the table didn't want to know what it was the linens were fresh and as were the towels just looked a bit worn down.

Warm and friendly front desk staff welcomed us after a long trip. They were very accomadating to our special needs and more than willing to do everything they could to help meet our needs. The rooms were updated and clean with convienent ammenities like a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Got there at 11:30pm and had two rooms. The lady at the desk was courteous and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, it was quiet. I read some of the less than outstanding reviews on this hotel before I booked it, and just didn't find anything that would keep me from staying there again. Checked in. Lamp between the beds would not turn on. Checked plug and found shorted out receptable with half the receptable plate missing and burn marks on the wall. Ask for another room which I got. I advised the desk clerk that they should not rent out the room unti the electrical problem is corrected. this hotel was not only very comfortable but convenient to a number of amenities. Within walking distance there was a variety of shopping and dining venues. The staff was very accomodating and the pool and breakfast buffet were very nice. This is a dog friendly hotel!

This is the worst hotel room that I've had in quite some time. Key-card reader on door didn't work well (took 10-25 swipes before it would open), spiders/insects in the room, air conditioning condensation dripping onto the carpet, no maid service, etc.

It's good if all you need is a place to rest for the night. Carpet was a bit dirty. But the beds were nicely made and clean. AC works great. This is a two star hotel at best, but if you can get the right price it's not too bad.

It was pouring down rain when unloading the car. I will look for a hotel that has a front entrance cover to allow a dry unloading of luggage. The desk clerk was not courteous or friendly. The young lady that updated the contenintal breakfast acted as if it was a hassle to bring breakfast foods that you had to request (waffle mix) if you desired that. […] The selection of food was minimal compared to other hotels that I have stayed at that offered a contenintal breakfast. This was our first time to ever stay at at Jameson Inn, and we were very impressed. The only complaint we have was that the address on hotels.com did not match the address of the actual hotel. Made finding it a bit difficult. The hotel itself though was an all around great experience.

This hotel is older and needs some upgrades but is certainly adequate for a short stay. The room was clean; bathroom very small but manageable. A little short on staff-no one was around at breakfast hour to replenish the food supply, which was very low. Convenient to local restaurants and businesses.

This place definitely does not look like the advertised photos. The room did not have any amenities, except for an iron. The pool was very small - more like a jacuzza. Desk clerk had a poor attitude and appeared to put us in any room available.

My complaint about service was related to internet access. When I called the front desk to ask why I couldn't get a wireless signal with decent strength I was told because we were in an end room it didn't work well. They have a 811g router (the weakest). I ask if he could reboot the router and try for a better signal. He said he would look into but […] never did and did not get back to me with a courteous "I tried." Spend a few dollars on an 811n router or an access extender and provide ALL of your room with web access; It is expected of any decent hotel. Read more

Place is not very clean compared to the one I've stayed in while in Jackson, MS. Issue checking in as we had brought our dog since the website indicated pet friendly. Turns out, their "pet policy" requires pets to be under 20lbs. I have cats that weigh more than 20lbs.! Manager was Very Nice and allowed us to stay since we had driven 4 hours to get […] there. Just can't remember when! Although the staff was friendly, the room looked as though I had just crawled into a roach hole. The bathroom was falling apart, the rug was dirty, and the clerk didn't know what was going on or how to charge me for the room.
