"A perfect wine country vacation"
The hotel was lovely, situated on a hillside with breathtaking views. Our room was a magnificent apartment with fireplace, porch and a fully stocked kitchen. Although the prices are very high, we considered it a value because everything in the room was replenished as it was used, including fruit, snacks, beer, water; and also included was anything that […] we desired off of the breakfast menu each day. The only downside was that if weather was poor or for those who have difficulty with stairs, the rooms are a walk from the parking and main building. Golf cart rides are provided but you still have to walk to the lot. Overall, the service, amenities and experience was excellent! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Auberge Du Soleil is top notch! They have thought of everything from the amenities to the food to the views. We received outstanding service & would highly recommend to anyone wanting a superior resort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best view in Napa Valley"
The view from the restaurant lived up to expectations. Use of external heaters allowed use at the end of October, when temperature gets a little chilly. Room was OK. If only the shrubs were better pruned, we would have been able to glimpse a view! As a result, we didn't use our outside space with the room. The hotel needs to update some of the fittings […] to keep up with current expectations. Didn't like the long walk from room to restaurant at night. Wooden steps were a bit slippery. Food was good for dinner. Some breakfast dishes (e.g pizza) were MUCH TOO BIG. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Room was incredible. Impeccable service and facilities. Beautiful location with a great view of the valley. The restaurant has an amazing wine selection and the menu is great too. The pool and spa are heavenly.
"Perfect introduction to Napa"

Cannot say enough about the quality of service and location of this resort. We often stay at Rosewood, Four Seasons and St. Regis reosrts. Auberge is excellent and frimly belongs in this list! We chose the Taste of Napa package as it was our first trip to Napa. An excellent introduction to the area and excellent value as well.
"Best in Napa"

This is a wonderful small hotel in Napa with top-notch staff and a great restaurant. The concierge, Yahell, was superb having arranged an array of wonderful winery tours and restaurants for us. Rooms are well appointed, clean, and have tremendously comfortable beds. Pool was a nice reprieve from the seasonably warm weather and helped us all cool off after a long day of wine-tasting. Definitely make a point of eating at the restaurant as it is certainly deserving of its Michelin Star.
"One Night of Tranquility!"

Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night at this hotel. We left another hotel due to unfavorable circumstances and landed here. It was glorious! Very tranquil with all of the amenities one could desire, situated high in the hills of Rutherford, Napa Valley. The staff was much like that of the Ritz Carlton, very doting. However, much more expensive than the Ritz. In fact very pricey. But for a special occasion (our 20th) it is worth it. Our room had two sets of french doors leading out onto a small terrace that had great view of Napa Valley! The room was fully stocked with fruit, gourmet snacks, drinks and wine (comes with the price of the room). Bed was the most comfortable sleep of our entire trip! Did not want to check out the next day. Breakfast was inclusive and anything off of the menu. We ate on the outdoor terrace of the restaurant and continued to enjoy the views. The only negative was that the soaking tub seemed a bit dated and the faucet to the tub was lose and rattled around a bit when filling. But that was very minor and the rest of the stay made up for it. The walk-in shower was substantial and also had a private water closet. We hope to come back to this hotel in the future. By the way, convertible Mercedes available to use on a first come first serve basis. Also Nespresso machine in room with a large selection of great coffee!

Auberge is everything the reviews say it is. The rooms, grounds and service are impeccable. The concierge is available to handle your entire stay, a portion of it or none. Whether you spend a day at the pool or wine tasting, everything about Auberge and surrounding area are wonderful. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Views are incredibly serene. If I had any complaint it would be to ask the hotel to clean the outside of windows in the bath area. They open to the outside and add a lot of natural light but they are very dirty - hence hindering using them opened. Other than that, this really is understated elegance at its best.

All of the previous reviews were spot on. The rooms, service and grounds were all spectacular. They really treat you special from the welcoming glass of glass to the in room bottle of wine and cheese. There is not a better concierge than Molly. She set up perfect private wine tastings at small beautiful vineyards that the lay person would not know about. If you like to hike the hotel is near a state park and you can bike to different vineyards. The smoked salmon on a bagel at breakfast was the best I have ever had and I am from New York so that is saying something! Eat at the Auberge's restaurant for dinner as the terrace is gorgeous and the food top notch. Had the corn soup, halibut and duck and am still thinking about it a week later. This is the place to stay if you want unparralled luxury, privacy and relaxation. We did not wanrt to leave.
"Lovely villas with a lovely view"

This place is a dream come true. Everything sas close to a perfection: villas, view, restaurant, service. The villas were so beautifully decorated and equipped that it would be difficult to say what to do better. They have thought about it all and provide you with all possible small amenities (plasters, body oil, brush, sweets, crisps) - and a bottle of great Napa Valley wine. This is a place to feel completely pampered.

I dream about the next time we can stay at Auberge...what a magical experience, from the second you drive up the steep driveway to get to the resort, you know you're in for a treat and Auberge did not disappoint. Everything was perfect...tranquil, serene, classy, and so relaxing. The customer service is perfection, everyone, from the valets to the waiters to the concierge, was so friendly and unpretentious. We felt welcome and valued, which we honestly were a little wary of, since it's SO nice at Auberge. Fancy schmancy!! Whether you just come for a delicious brunch on their famous patio or are fortunate enough to stay for a few days, it's well worth every penny to stay at Auberge!!

From start to finish the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. The view from our room was glorious and the room itself was very comfortable. The included breakfast was some of the best food I have had anywhere. The room was considerably more pricey than our usual but the service, food and scenery made it worth the extra money. My husband and I will be back again.
"Worth every penny"

Spent the afternoon at the bar and had some cookies and drinks. The cookies were fantastic! They make it from scratch, I've heard. We also had a 4 course dinner. I'm usually a very picky eater but once in a blue moon, I try to be a little adventurous. This dinner was a great way to be one! The meal starts off with a complimentary starter. I don't really know what it was but I'm guessing mushrooms with something. I had the kurobuta pork belly, the halibut, and the duck. Oh, the duck. THAT duck! It was so good! For dessert I had the chocolate tart. I can still taste it up to now. It was that good! The service was also one of the best. The servers know what they're selling. By heart, I might add. Everything at Auberge was perfect. Will definitely be back. And the scenery wasn't so bad either. Now, if only it weren't for those insects, that night would've been perfect.
