"A perfect wine country vacation"
The hotel was lovely, situated on a hillside with breathtaking views. Our room was a magnificent apartment with fireplace, porch and a fully stocked kitchen. Although the prices are very high, we considered it a value because everything in the room was replenished as it was used, including fruit, snacks, beer, water; and also included was anything that […] we desired off of the breakfast menu each day. The only downside was that if weather was poor or for those who have difficulty with stairs, the rooms are a walk from the parking and main building. Golf cart rides are provided but you still have to walk to the lot. Overall, the service, amenities and experience was excellent! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Auberge Du Soleil is top notch! They have thought of everything from the amenities to the food to the views. We received outstanding service & would highly recommend to anyone wanting a superior resort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best view in Napa Valley"
The view from the restaurant lived up to expectations. Use of external heaters allowed use at the end of October, when temperature gets a little chilly. Room was OK. If only the shrubs were better pruned, we would have been able to glimpse a view! As a result, we didn't use our outside space with the room. The hotel needs to update some of the fittings […] to keep up with current expectations. Didn't like the long walk from room to restaurant at night. Wooden steps were a bit slippery. Food was good for dinner. Some breakfast dishes (e.g pizza) were MUCH TOO BIG. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely Napa hotel"

I stayed here in a sublime room with a great view over the vineyards. It was one of the modern rooms, which I prefer. Great amenities, comfy bed, fab food and service. There was a bottle of wine and snacks in my room when I arrived. The staff are friendly and nice. Highly recommend it!
"Perfect Hotel for Heart of Napa"

This is a stunning spot. Great rooms, vistas and dining. Close to many fabulous wineries. There is a beautiful sculpture garden for walking around. Walk to the top of the mountain up their private road if you want a nice morning hike. Will take your breath away (literally). We had a suite with a living room, fireplace and mini kitchen. It was tasteful, clean and comfortable. The hotel also offers guests a variety of mercedes to test drive for a couple of hours - that was fun. The food was fabulous and they do corkage which is great after picking up a sensational wine at one of the wineries (provided it's not one they already sell). Breakfast on the outside deck was a perfect start to the day. This time of year, mornings and evenings are cool and afternoons are hot. Pack for all temperatures.

This was our second visit to Auberge du Soleil, and it was absolutely as wonderful as the first. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as you would hope with a first class resort. The staff couldn't be nicer, and everyone seems to genuinely care about how wonderful they can make your vacation. The rooms are beautiful, everything is designed for pure romance - from the wine glasses already set near the candles on the jacuzzi, to the welcome notes and turn-down treats. Yahell and Molly (Concierge) were invaluable prior to and during our trip. Our entire trip was seamless, and likely, not easily. They coordinate everything, and beautifully. Little things - the "mini-bar" area has everything, and it is all complimentary. At a place where you wouldn't think twice about paying for the treats, it shows such respect for the guest that you aren't nickeled & dimed during your stay. The Spa was absolutely amazing. We had a couples massage on one day (fantastic), and the Meritage treatment on another. It was unforgettable. The ONLY flaw was the lack of cell/wifi coverage (Verizon), but it helped us to leave work behind. At every turn, it was true bliss. We can't wait to return for the third time.

"Lunch on the terrace"

Did not stay in the hotel, stopped for lunch on our tour through the valley. Beautiful view from the terrace, food was well prepared and delicious, service was friendly though not exactly as flawless as I expected for the cost of the restaurant. Great for special occasions.
"Great romantic getaway!"

Everything was wonderful from the moment we stepped on the property. The staff goes out of their way to assist you and the property is gorgeous. Great for romantic getaways. Setting is beautiful and food is outstanding. We had both dinner and brunch at Auberge and we enjoyed everything.
"Great view. Great wine list. Poor food. "

It is definitely worth a visit given the spectacular view from the terrace. Over 1,000 wines from around the world. However, the food was underwhelming. Just tasted flat and not really fresh. Calamari were definitely frozen and tasted boring. Staff not really trained.
"Spectacular Views and Food"

If you are looking for a romantic destination, look no further. The views are wonderful, and the food is second to none. If you get a good day, definitely eat outdoors. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. You will not be disappointed.

I have been in the Hospitality Industry for over 30+ years never have I had such an incredible experience at any Hotel I have ever stayed. The attention to detail is probably the best I have ever seen. every single part of our 16-Year anniversary was carefully detailed at every turn the staff and people there were amazing!!! I give this property a 6-Star rating.
"Amazing Provence styled retreat. Perfect for "cuver son vin"!"
12/28/13 BonVoyageFamily Palm Beach, Florida
Auberge du Soleil is a charming and highly relaxing retreat in an area that is already a retreat by itself! The property spread on a small hill that overlooks the Napa valley so the views are great from almost anywhere in the resort. Photo shots from the dining area overlooking the valley are spectacular at various lighting conditions during the day. Rooms are very spacious, with fireplaces and a few large flat screen TVs but watching TV is not essential there. Tasting wines, eating out and relaxing is the thing! You'll get truly decent wines right into your room, red, white, champagne etc... all included. You can even brush your teeth with Cabernet in the morning if you feel like it! You can not go wrong by choosing Auberge du Soleil when you come to Napa, but ask about the view and location of your room. We have seen a few because we were 6 couples there. All the rooms are almost identical inside. Enjoy!
