"A perfect wine country vacation"
The hotel was lovely, situated on a hillside with breathtaking views. Our room was a magnificent apartment with fireplace, porch and a fully stocked kitchen. Although the prices are very high, we considered it a value because everything in the room was replenished as it was used, including fruit, snacks, beer, water; and also included was anything that […] we desired off of the breakfast menu each day. The only downside was that if weather was poor or for those who have difficulty with stairs, the rooms are a walk from the parking and main building. Golf cart rides are provided but you still have to walk to the lot. Overall, the service, amenities and experience was excellent! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Auberge Du Soleil is top notch! They have thought of everything from the amenities to the food to the views. We received outstanding service & would highly recommend to anyone wanting a superior resort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best view in Napa Valley"
The view from the restaurant lived up to expectations. Use of external heaters allowed use at the end of October, when temperature gets a little chilly. Room was OK. If only the shrubs were better pruned, we would have been able to glimpse a view! As a result, we didn't use our outside space with the room. The hotel needs to update some of the fittings […] to keep up with current expectations. Didn't like the long walk from room to restaurant at night. Wooden steps were a bit slippery. Food was good for dinner. Some breakfast dishes (e.g pizza) were MUCH TOO BIG. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pure decadence start to finish"

My absolute favorite place to stay when in the wine country. The hotel is so beautiful that you need to make sure you leave time in your day to just stay and relax and enjoy the surroundings and amenities at the hotel. Don't overbook yourself with wine tasting tours - enjoy a relaxed morning and either exercise, spa, massage, read the paper, sleep in or enjoy the pool and then reward yourself with a fabulous lunch overlooking the amazing views of the valley. The dinners are equally phenomenal and very romantic!

Went with my wife for a romantic retreat. Also to experience a little more of Napa wine. We had a great time. The hotel services, rooms, restaurants and spa are great. Beautiful view at the restaurant, amazing food. We are surely going to go back for another relaxing getaway!

If you want a quintessential Valley wine experience and money isn't as much of a concern then this is a top choice. We were fortunate enough to stay there and dine as well and the experience is a highlight of the valley. Take your time to enjoy the view and the grounds if possible.

Auberge lives up to it's reputation. In a spectacular setting in Sonoma surrounded by beautiful wine country of CA. The hotel is built on hills. The rooms are very comfortable. The highlight of your trip will be the food and wine at the Auberge restaurant. It is one of the top dinners ever had.

I enjoyed an amazing day at the Auberge Du Soleil spa after a morning of wine tasting with the girls. My head to toe treatment was to die for and when I mentioned my skin is sensitive to sea salt products, my wonderful masseuse was able to switch it for a grape seed scrub. Post-massage, the fresh veggie juice was invigorating and perfect to watch the sun sink over the silvery olive trees on the property. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended!
"Romantic heavan in the valley"
This could be a really really long review gushing about our week long stay at Auberge Du Soleil. Instead, I'm going to spare y'all the nitty gritty. Simply put, if you're looking for a romantic and relaxing place to stay in Napa, that has every amenity you could possibly think of, plus a few extra you couldn't imagine to boot, this is your place. Excellent staff, rooms, views, food, drink, service, cleaning service, you name it. It was a wonderful stay and we would be back again every month if not for those pesky 4 dollar signs next to the name.

I am a picky traveler! I'm not sure that I have been to any hotel or resort where I could say I did not have one complaint- that is until this visit to Auberge du Soleil. From check in to check out, it could not have been a better experience. Our suite was impeccable ( normandie 1) and we appreciated the extensive complimentary food and drink. Our breakfasts were delicious and we used and loved the fitness center. The pool was beautiful as well. The concierge (Yahell) was so pleasant and competent and helped us tremendously with our plans. Lastly, the rest of he staff deserves kudos as they were friendly, professional and so helpful- even arranging for our wine purchases to be shipped back to NY at a reasonable cost. Auberge is pricy but WORTH EVERY CENT!

I went for my 30th birthday a few years ago and I couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate. Our suite was so sumptuous, with the most amazing views and amenities. The staff was unbelievable and I'm dying to go back. Yes, its very pricey, but well worth the investment.

Travel to the Napa Valley can be a few hazy days of wine tastings and marathon eating, but it can also be a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery if you choose the right hotel. The Auberge allows you the perfect location to enjoy a little bit of everything. The hotel's individual "cottages" provide relaxing balconies overlooking the valley, and the interior offers comfy king beds with a great bathroom with tub, separate shower, enclosed toilet and double sinks. And one of my favorite features - a fully stocked refrigerator with free drinks plus some snacks. Lovely staff and restaurants make this the perfect getaway stay.
