We came to the KHI on a neighbor's recommendation for an anniversary weekend. Everything was great from the moment we walked in: nice service, warm... cookies, water after a long trip. When the room we booked had a broken fireplace, they upgraded us to a suite. The hotel bar and bartender were awesome; the restaurant was fantastic; the service was impeccable (example: when we went to our car the morning after a snow, the staff had brushed the snow off of everyone's cars). Great staff, spacious, well appointed room, excellent common areas, very friendly service, excellent location, handy shuttle service. Great place. Only aspect that did not hold up to these standards was the bed itself--could have been more comfortable. Overall, great place to stay.

The wonderful service at Knob Hill made me feel like royalty. Room service was absolutely outstanding and was both better and less expensive than any meal that I've had in town. I usually stay in a rental condo when I visit the Sun Valley area, but from now on, it will be Knob Hill every time.
