"Good Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
The Hotel was a good hotel, great staff, and great breakfast. Very comfortable bed, most comfortable we slept in Italy. Clean rooms good size with a good balcony. The hotel is quite a way away from town, and had to take a bus down there. The bus schedule was fairly sporadic, and therefore caused some issues. You can always take a cab. The street the hotel is on turns into a gigantic nightclub at night, but the thick windows make it that you can't hear any of the music. Good stay in Rome.

"Great People"Reviewed by luigi m of "Texas" on Nov 24, 2011
We checked out of the hotel and moved to south rome and after a few days we went back and re-rented 3 more rooms for 4 more days. The price is right and if you have a rental car you can get to anywhere you like for you are close to Rome. The people at the hotel can not seem to be able to do enough for you. They jump when you ask them for a favor and all the employees take great pride in trying to help. I will use this hotel again from the breakfast people to the cleaning people they really are great. Luigi
"Decent hotel, convenient to main highways"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 17, 2011
We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel, but travelers should realize that this is a business hotel more than a tourist hotel. The hotel has a confusing layout but the staff is very helpful and our room was comfortable. The breakfast is good. Important to note: when we booked the room the only options given suggested that this is a non-smoking hotel, but you will need to write a note in your reservation in order to ensure that you will have a non-smoking room. We were given a smoking room but they happily moved us (the hotel was not full). Another odd note: the lighting in our hallway and room was very finicky.
"Duca d'Este"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 14, 2011
What a delight. Convenient to Villa Adriana and fairly near to Tivoli, the hotel was easy to find and had good parking. This was a genuine 4-star experience. In Rome, we had just come from Hotel Giada which claimed 3-stars but weren't even remotely close to the Hotel Duca d'Este. Breakfast was good and service was impeccable. Unfortunately NOT convenient for those exploring Rome.
