"Great Location, excellent staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Famous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.

Superior room type is small. Bigger rooms are available as hotel is not full after January 1 but they are not willing to upgrade despite our complain. I believe it may be due to the fact that our room has already been discounted and paid in advance.
"Rooms are Small"
The rooms are beautifully restored but the equivalent room at Claridge's is larger. The Deluxe King for example has no sitting area.
"wonderful!"
just renovated -- beautifully appointed! Excellent service _ wonderful experience
"Highly Recommended"
As a solo traveller staying 2 nights, I felt like a distinguished member of an exclusive private club. I had high expectations which were both met and surpassed. The staff were warm, professional and kind. As I cannot provide any negative comments, I intend to stay at The Connaught whenever I visit London.
