Our flight landed at 5:30am and the free shuttle came and picked us up shortly after 6am. We were able to check in early and in our room by 7:30am. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Not fit for family travel, just a place to sleep. No amenities, noisy on a main highway plus trucks coming and going most of the night. Not even coffee or anything else. The hotel is older but they are constantly working on it to keep appearances up, including landscaping. The staff were very friendly and did their best to please. "Great overnight stay before/aftercrusie"
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Helped print out my travel documents and arrange my shuttle back to the airport. Room was very clean and furnishing pleasant. Courtyard with ducks wandering under the banyan tree was very cool. "It is location, location, location and that is all"
The hotel was truly basic and it showed. There were puddles of water in the walkways..not sure where the water was coming from, as it had not rained.the making for a fall for sure and as many of the people staying there were getting on a cruise the next day and some elderly, I would be drying the areas, promptly. The internet was extremely slow and unpredictable, it took me 3 hours and a change of room(to be closer to the front of the hotel) to get some basic service on the internet. When you first arrive it already looks suspicious then you book on here and the manager lets you know they have your money now let's "find" your reservation. We checked in after midnight and less than an hour into our stay we were told the music playing from my cell phone was too loud. I'd say stay here for work or travel. Remodeled recently and the beds were comfortable but I kept smelling my neighbors smoke throughout the night. "Ok hotel, but too expensive"
The hotel room rate is too expensive for the type of hotel it is. The rooms were clean and ready to move in, but the condition of the hotel was not that great. There are only 2 tiny elevators available, and 1 of them was out of order - only 1 couple with their luggage could fit in the elevators. So it took us a long time for us to get to 3rd floor. […] For the shuttle service from the airport, they ask you to make a call after you get your luggage - we were lucky enough that the shuttle was at the airport within 5mins of us making a call, but others had been waiting for 15-20+ mins. When I asked the front desk, "Where could I get liquor", they told me 7-Eleven which was 1mile away. But right after I checked out, I found a liquor store in the next building over - I have no idea why the front desk did not tell the truth. Also, it might be cheaper to book with them directly by calling them - there was considerable difference between the price I paid and the price they were offering when I checked in.
