Very courteous & friendly staff. Very helpful. A nice perk is the bountiful and complimentary buffet breakfast. Very convenient and central location on lovely Reynolds Square. Easy valet parking at discounted rate. My only beef is with the City Fathers who approved the ugly, monstrous parking structure next door. On the plus side: people were lovely and helpful, service was excellent, rooms was clean, the hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect. On the negative side: Our room faced a parking lot, the mattress WAS way too soft, making us roll to the center. Worse, there was a significant amount of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. It was our first stay and we couldn't have asked for a better location to the music venues for the festival and the downtown for restaurants. Reynolds Square is lovely. The staff was very helpful and the concierge was good about recommendations of places to eat. My new favorite town and inn.

Enjoyable stay on Reynolds Square, with dinner at the Olde Pink House right next door. Marvelous location to launch to River Street and some nearby "haunted" pubs as part of a tour. Evening wine and cheese in the lobby was a nice touch. Service and quality of the facilities were very good. Would go back again.

Everything was right: perfect location, a large room with a balcony and view of the square, friendly service. But, I had arrived after driving for 12 hours and was just too tired to go out to dinner. The hotel claimed to have an arrangement with the neighboring Pink House restaurant to provide in room dining. I called. they took my order. They said […] they would deliver it. It never came and I went to bed hungry. So, while there was much good to say about this place I left with a bad memory. The bathroom in my room was fine but it could use some modernization. Stayed for St Patrick's weekend. Room was great staff was awesome and helpful. Only down side was my room view was the parking garage. And all night all I heard was squealing tires and loud exhaust. Besides that I'll stay here again, it'll just be on the other side of the building.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Planters Inn. They were very gracious and helped us with any questions we had. In the afternoon, they had wine and cheese and also someone there to help out with reservations for restaurants or anything else you would like to do. Very accomodating.

I booked this hotel on a moments notice because of failed flight connection. It was nicely located on Reynolds SQ in the picturesque Historic district. Breakfast, Internet and a wine/cheese social were all complimentary. Rooms are comfortable in terms of size and decor. The one downside is the nearby parking garage which occasionally had car alarms […] blaring but it is convienant for parking your car. We were extremely pleased with this hotel. It was out first time in Savannah and the location could not have been better. Walking distance to everything in historic district. Very comfortable room, great staff, much better than average contennential breakfast, nicely maintained hotel.

We had a wonderful weekend. There is a parking garage next door that most rooms face. Apparently, it can be pretty loud on weekend nights. Aside from the fact that all of hte rooms face a parking garage (the Inn was there first!), our stay was very comfortable with very accomodating friendly staff. Our ice bucket was filled when we got back to our room for dinner, concierge was delightful. Wine and cheese every night at happy hour was lovely.
