We had trouble finding the hotel and when we called for directions the woman couldn't explain where it was. The room was non-smoking, but reeked of smoke. We had a reservation for our trip back, but cancelled. The location was fine, but this hotel is really due for a major overhaul.

I had questions when I first pulled in and you have to drive in opposite direction than indicated to use their parking garage. You have no idea who is working and who is visiting. The hotel was run by a bunch of unorganizerd ignorant people. That tried to tell me that i didnt book 2 rooms at their dirty hotel even though i had two seperate confirmation pages printed out. They then tried to tell me that they wernt responsible for giving me my money for the one room that i paid for back, and said hotels.com was responsible for […] there mistake. They then found the other room that i booked in a different folder. After they basically told me i was a lyer and got rude with me i got no appolgy for there incompitence. Then there was no parking unless you wanted to get parked in 2 cars deep. Once we got to our room it was hot as he ll with no ac just a box fan. The tv only got 2 channels espn and scrambled mexican channel. The elevators worked very slow, buttons were all smashed up and doors had duct tape holding the metal pannels on. We then locked ourselves outta the room by accident so i went to get a key and i was told that i had the only one and I would have to wait till sunday mourning the day im suspost to check out to mabye get another 1 so i used a credit card to shimmy the door lock which worked. Then the toilet broke in the one room. And ther was large fresh blood stains in the stairway carpet i know it was blood bc the persons bloody tissues were also sitting on the carpet next to the stains which went on 2 floors that was your other opition instead of the elevator this mess never got cleaned up while i was there very unsanitary. There was no air conditioning in the entire building! It was ridiculously hot in the rooms. The plumbing leaked so bad it looked like a waterfall running out of the lobby ceiling. The floor in my room was wet from the leaky pipes. The room smelled horrible, probably from the wet floor in the extremely hot room. Is a club on the first floor with loud bass music playing till 3 in the morning. Was evident by the noise at one point was a huge brawl with cops eventually showing up. The next morning heard someone got stabbed. Hotel is one of the dirtiest places ive ever stayed. The reason of my trip was to attend the Made In America Festival in Fairmount Park. We didn't realize how lengthy it actually was to the destination because the park is huge, but that's besides the point. Basically, you get what you pay for. It's cheap and that's what you get. It is a motel at the end of the day and not a Sheraton or a Hilton (though […] there was a Hilton a block away). We booked for 3 nights but left on the second. It's DOABLE. If all you need is sleep, it's not bad. It's not very clean, the towels were stained. I slept over the bed covers, fully clothed because I just didn't want to lay on any motel sheets. It was in the middle of summer and the ac doesnt do a thIng, woke up sweating in the middle of the night. The shower went from normal to blistering hot to frezing cold in seconds. The "free parking" was ridiculous, it consisted of roughly 20 spots that were completely taken up, which required us to park on the street. The service was terrible the room was hot and when we complained about it we were told it would take a while to cool off but it never did. Also there were several parties going on downstairs with people loud and hanging in hallways and outside sitting on vehicles.

Front desk lady was very unprofessional. At 3 am some thuggish looking guys banged on our door pretending to be room service and tried to force their way into the room. The Hotel had a great location for the Philly Triathlon. However, our room A/C was not working properly. They never repair it or change us room. Really bad service. In any case, we just slept one night and worked for us (cheap and good location for our race).

At my arrival, the driveway to the parking structure was blocked by parked cars so had to back out onto a busy major street. Parking structure was unlit so didn't feel too safe. As I was making my way to my room, I immediately noticed how loud the hotel was. Once I got into the room, I turned on the tv only to find out that the only station available […] was the NBC shopping network as the remote and channel changers on the set didn't work. Went to call about this problem but the room phone was dead. When I went to get online to take care of some important work e-mails, I couldn't log on to the hotel wifi because something apparently was wrong with the modem and the front desk clerk who I had to call from my cell phone didn't know how to fix it. This place is a dump. Stay away and save your money. You can't park a minivan or suv without asking them. They gave us nonsmoking room which clearly was a smoking room. Shower water does not hold a temperature. It's an awesome accommodation if you are use to low income housing and projects.

No available parking near main entrance, I needed a bathroom when I arrived. Small three level parking garage and parking lot. I went to the lower level and did find a space. Could not find an entrance, so I walked up the ramp to the main entrance, later told to enter through a function room. Had trouble finding bathroom and front desk in lobby. At […] least one floor selection button in the elevator was broken. Had done a mud run that day and did another one the next day. Could not get water to fully come out of shower head, so water pressure was insufficient. Some small bars of soap were provided, but no shampoo or conditioner, fortunately I had my own. Did not try them, but there were signs saying dresser drawers were unopenable, but there were others under the tv that supposedly could be used. Tv remote did not work very well. Building is somewhat "L" shaped, and this room was on the inside corner. I was not confident that the blinds were fully closing, and there was the window of another room perpendicular to mine. The only thing in its favor is that it is close to Fairmount Park where I attended an event early the next morning. It was not worth the money at all! Our first room did not have a showerhead. Then we got another room, that was supposed to be non-smoking and it reaked of smoke. So, the lady at the front desk gave us keys to 2 more rooms to look at to find one that worked. The parking was awful, too! The lot was so small and hard to get in and out of. My husband and I were running in our first 5k in Fairmount Park and we live a distance from the city, so we were looking for an inexpensive hotel that would allow us to be close to the start so that we could get a good night's sleep and not have to travel the morning of the race. It was cheap and close to the park - that's the only positives there were. […] When we got there they were repaving the back parking lot, so there were 6 spots in front available. We had to park in the shopping center next door, and didn't know if we were going to get ticketed. It was loud all night long. The odor somehow got continually worse until we reached our room. We asked housekeeping if they had any air freshener and they said no. The windows could not open, so we relied on the air conditioner which was either on or off, it was extremely loud, which also contributed to the lack of sleep as we had to leave it on to circulate the air or it would've been stifling. There was one dresser and the drawers were screwed shut. There was a sign that said not to open the drawers, to use the two drawers under the television console. The beds were hard as a rock. There were 2 threadbare towels in the bathroom. There was NO clock or clock radio in the room. We're usually willing to forgo some bells and whistles to get a good deal. I see bad reveiws and generally am willing to risk it thinking that people are being too harsh. DO NOT stay here. It's NOT worth the savings. Read more

The parking lot was closed so there was no parking and no one seemed concerned that we were inconvenienced by this. The elevator was decrepit, the hallways and the room smelled terrible. We stopped one of the cleaning staff and asked if they had anything for the smell and she said no and walked away! The room had one bar of soap and 1 full sized towel […] for 2 people.
