"Good enough for a small family"
We checked into this hotel for a few nights while transitioning into a new apartment here in Hillsboro Oregon. Staff was friendly the room is a little stuffy but it was clean and the bed is comfortable.

"In town for funeral"
Stayed 7 nights. Place is older but rooms pretty clean .Cleaning staff did great job daily. Place is pretty quiet and no noise was heard during entire stay. Breakfast offerings were a little weak but there's plenty of places nearby.

"Good place to stay. Exactly what we expected"
We read the reviews on this hotel before booking and it turned out almost exactly as we anticipated. The the rooms were clean and comfortable but not luxurious. They are great for a family vacation. The continental breakfast is a bit lame as others have reported but we managed to find things to eat. The service was always friendly and helpful. We will stay here again if we need a hotel in the area.

Thanksgiving overnighter met our needs after big family gathering. Clean with ample space. Didn't use in room kitchen at all. Outdoor hot tub closed due to debris from wind gusts. Breakfast was unexpected only in that hotel also served Asian guests so offered hot rice with flavorings. A break from the usual offerings. Internet worked fine both on tablet and in breakfast room.

My wife and I had a very good stay at Larkspur Landing. The hotel is quite convenient to Hillsboro and the kitchenette amenity allowed us to cook and keep our travel budget. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

"middle of close to nowhere"
clean, quiet, good service, but kind of far to gas stations or non fast food restaurants. To be fair hotel mainly serves intel clientele during the week. Weekends are too ghostly and we normally enjoy peace.

"Nice place"
I really liked staying at Larkspur Landing in Hillsboro. The staff was wonderful and Mike even had a listing of local eateries in a pamphlet ready for when I asked. My only complaint is that the T.V. in the room had only 30 or so channels. Not that big of a deal really, but I kind of expect to have more variety (Food Network for example). "Average hotel, no so friendly staffs."
We got there after a long drive and dinner, so we were pretty tired. But the staff at reception looked more tired than us. He didn't greed us or anything, I had to say "we are checking in" after waiting in front of him for more than a minute. Check-in was fast, he just hand us the key and told us the room number. No other information had given. I had to call the front desk to inquiry about the breadfast time and wifi, etc, after I got back to my room. Oh... One more thing, the bottle water in the fridge is not free! Opened the empty fridge with one bottle of water standing in the middle, with no sign or notes. Glad that I call the front desk, again, to find out it's $2.50. Didn't see any cookies in the lobby as seen in the review.

the Hotel was very nice. my complaint is the breakfast or lack of. I went down to eat around 9:00 am. There were a some hard boiled eggs, an empty rice cooker, some Danish and bread. I took the last two pieces of ham and a Danish. A hotel employee came in took the platter from the ham, but never returned with more. When the few pieces of Danish were gone. we were left with cold cereal and no milk.

I wasn't sure about staying at a long term motel! But loved walking into my room and had I wanted to cook my own meal! The bed and pillow selection was amazing! Slept better on their bed and pillows than my own!

"HUGE Rooms"
My husband and I booked this room after it was one of the few available for the price on such short notice. I must say I was thrilled by the service and room. It's designed for long term guests, so there was a bedroom with a king in it, as well as a small living room and a kitchen off of that. The room was of adequate size I am convinced we would have been happy there for quite a while as the size was lovely. My only complaint was it was a little far from Portland for my taste (with traffic getting in it took about 45 minutes) but for the price and amenities it can't be beat.

"Decent place to stay, good value for money"
The air conditioning could stand to be a bit more robust and distributed around the room. However, that is the price of trying to heat something like a reasonably sized suite with a window side unit. Breakfast was convenient, parking was easy, it was easy to find and easy to get away.

"Forgetful staff"
My back went out so I requested extra pillows and I never received them. This was my second stay at this hotel. I had a problem with reservation and requested to speak to the manager never received a call back until I got home. The manager was very polite and apologized. I was offered a comp room on my next stay.

Big suit. Desk, computer chair, sofa and coffee table. Kitchen comes with silverware, mugs, plates. No AC in the bedroom. AC in the living room. has a fan on the wall to circulate air between the two rooms.

A clean and quiet room. The bed was very comfortable. Not much in the neighborhood unless you have business at one of the big industrial campuses but only a 15 minute drive to downtown Portland (on a Saturday morning)

"Quiet nice place"
The hotel is across from an Intel campus and obviously caters to contractors for that site. The amenities are very business and traveler friendly: laundry at no charge, good breakfast, desk in room and a kitchen that you can use.

"Hillsboro's Home Away From Home"
Rooms were comfortable; furniture was worn and the channel changer kept falling apart. Rooms were clean and the kitchenette was a nice addition. Had to hunt down fresh towels a couple of times. They did have a free laundry room but were out of laundry detergent and softener sheets. An expansive continental breakfast and good coffee and tea available all the time. Fold-out couch was perfect sleep option for the child.

"Best hotel in Hillsboro"
I come visit my daughter and family and this is the second time I stayed here. All the rooms are clean and comfortable beds. The room rates on Friday and Saturdays are reasonable but the other days of the week is high, especially when your there to visit family for a week. Otherwise, one of the better hotels to stay in all of Portland.

"Nice....but missing some stuff...."
Very nice facility. Room was nice....and I will stay again. Staff was friendly and the kitchen/room was well appointed and spotless. Some interesting stuff....there were instructions on how to run the DVD player, but there was no DVD player. There was supposed to be a clock in the bedroom....and there was instructions on how to set it, but there was no clock. The channels you can get on the TV in the main living area are different than the ones in the bedroom...so if you start a movie on the couch you had best be prepared to finish it there. There was no hotel directory in the room, so no map. I wandered up and down the halls looking for the gym, never found it. All seemed strange....but still not a deterrent from using the hotel again. Will be there next week.....hopefully I can find the gym on round 2.

"Better than I expected"
My husband and I were in Hillsboro visiting our daughter and decided to try a different hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality received for a modest price. The hotel grounds, lobby, common areas and hallways were spotless, the staff very pleasant, the room spacious and pristine. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality linens, good mattress and fresh linen encased duvet. There was a large work area with a very comfortable office type chair, an easy chair and full kitchen. The bath was small, but pristine and the towels luxurious. The reviews online complained about the breakfast - I am not sure why. There was no hot food, true, but many healthy choices - fresh fruit ( bananas & oranges), all types of breads/English muffins/bagels for toasting, a tray of sliced ham and cheddar cheese, individual cereals - a wide selection from granola to bran, instant oatmeal and the refrigerators were full of individual servings of yogurts, applesauce, string cheese, a variety of Tropicana fruit juices, and skim/2%/soy milk. There were also fresh pastries.

"All the comforts of home!"
We chose Larkspur Landing based on great reviews on Hotels.com and are so glad we did! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood that's right across from the Intel campus in Hillsboro. We were welcomed by friendly staff and fresh-baked cookies! The suite-style rooms offer full-sized refrigerators, microwave, range-top, dishwasher and real dishes and glassware! Extremely comfortable and quiet. Nice selection at the complimentary breakfast, too! We'll definitely stay here again!

"Double instead of Queen"
We stayed here for a college graduation and while the service was responsive and quick, we had a few issues. One, the bed was a double and not a queen like I paid for. I asked for a reduced price, not sure if I was refunded the money. Two, the bedding was all down so we requested a change because of allergies,. The front desk was quick to replace our bedding but the polyester pillows were awful. Overall, it wasn't an awful hotel but for the price I paid, there were too many hassles.

"Really nice"
For a 3 star hotel this is an exelent choice. It's in the heart of the business district of Hillsboro where Intel and solar world are. Staff are super friendly and the hotel was spotless, including the room I stayed in. All rooms come with both WiFi and ethernet accessible internet. I was able to connect my xbox to the tv and play on Xbox live. All rooms also come with an hdtv I would say mine was a 42 inch (no smaller) and I had the smallest bedroom. Overall I had an amazing experience and will definitely be returning my next trip to Hillsboro

"Awesome staff! Clean and new!"
The staff helped my wife by giving her an umbrella for the rain. Clean comfortable room, would recommend to anyone.

"Nice weekend getaway"
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Close to shopping and amenities. Easy enough access from the freeway. Breakfast selection was limited and the seating area is small. Found someone else's sock in our room.
