Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

comfy bed, nice bathroom, great staff at front desk, wireless access easy, computer in Lobby new and rapid. Parking garage reasonable rate. Great spot nearby:EatIly--check it out for restaurants and goodies to bring home. Only improvement that could be made is quality of towels.

It was a nice stay. Only complaints are the size of the double bed rooms and the internet was very off/on. Other than that it was an excellent stay.
Who says you can't stay in Midtown on a limited budget? The New York Inn is within a 10-minute walk of the glittery nerve center of Times Square and the Theatre District. On your way to see all that neon, swing by the TKTS Booth at 47th and Broadway to find discounted day-of-show theater tickets. See the high-kicking Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall or head to the "Top of the Rock" at Rockefeller Center: Both are a 10-minute stroll away. And the consummate New York attraction, the Empire State Building, is less than a 15-minute subway ride from the New York Inn. Three subway stations are within a 5-minute walk, so navigating Manhattan is easy. Need a little nature in your city living? Hoof it 10 minutes north to enter the sanctuary of Central Park.

The hotel is located in a really good place, near several metro lines, broadway shows and restaurants. The staff of the hotel is very helpful, trying to provide everything that is necessary to make the stay more confortable possible.
