This was our first trip to Mississauga, but not the first time at a Novotel. The hotel was within walking distance of the Square One Mall and numerous restaurants. Covered parking was located right next to the hotel. The salt water pool was a pleasant surprise. Everything was immaculate and the staff was very professional. A minor issue with the noise of the heater in the room waking us up during the night was immediately addressed by the staff upon check out, as they waived the parking fee because of our trouble. I would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed here before but it's consistently gone down in quality. The rooms are fairly generic and somewhat small. Better value at other name brand hotel chains. Services is less than stellar. I called for extra towels because ours smelled like smoke. They told me to come get them because they don't deliver. Huh? They have an incredibly worn down racquetball court that they stuck a portable basketball hoop in. So things like that make it fairly low class.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable beds, I personally prefer being in an urban area so this was a good spot for me. Two bad points: The room heating was not working. When I requested either repair or a new room, they did promptly send a maintenance person to the room. He reset it and it worked for about two hours and failed again. Who knows how many times they have done this but it seemed like a standard reaponse. They need to repair it permanently! 2nd issue: I arranged to have a trip to the airport the night before my departure. The staff at the desk told me it would be charged to my room ($48) and we scheduled it for 7:30. The next morning at checkout I noticed it was not listed on invoice and the desk staff appeared surprised and said they do not provide this service. Obviously there is a training issue with regard to this problem. I had to hail a taxi instead and I saved $10 in the process. I would stay here again because it was clean, comfortable and I liked the location. I consider these two issues minor. Also, I originally tried to reserve the room directly but the staff said they were booked, I have learned the Expedia trick long ago so I went to Expedia and made the reservation. It is tediculous that the staff cannot release a room as needed. They probably end up with empty rooms because of this issue.

Two adults in a room. Booking was for two double beds. When arriving at hotel, was told there was only a queen with sofa bed available. No pillows, sheets or blankets were offered for sofa bed. Had to ask for clean towels on second day of stay. Bathroom was filthy. Sink dirty, floor dirty, tub dirty. Stayed there for a very tragic funeral, so didn't bother complaining to management - but will not stay there again. UGH!

Hotel staff were friendly. The rooms are spacious. The only problem was the room was advertised as having one queen bed and two single beds and the two single beds turned out to be a pull out couch. The hotel facilities are good. The hotel is close to Square One and it is centrally located in down town Mississauga so you could walk and my teen age sons could walk to the mall and cinema a on their own.

I recently stayed at Novotel in mississauga and I have a few things to share with you. 1) extremely small rooms 2) pay for parking (20$/day) 3) non-smoking hotel 4) overpriced 5) all drinks/chocolate bars from mini fridge costed 5.50 or something?? (Paid 120 on mini bar!!!!) 6) all staff need to take an English course??? When I was in my room, I felt like I was in a garbage room because of how extremely SMALL it was.. With only a few of my things in the room... Like it was soo cluttered... No seperate couch area and soo expensive for a non smoking , tiny hotel that charges for parking and sooo much for their bunk mini bar.

Staff was pleasant, helpful and courtious. Everyone from the desk clerks to room cleaning staff to the restaurant provided service with a smile and remembered who I was. Great stay. (Pillows were for side sleepers, not stomach sleepers like me but I managed.) My family was there for a wedding and all ages of family members stayed and seemed to do well.

My stay was comfortable. Room clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Food was not to my liking but there are restaurant outside the hotel where u can eat. My only complaint is we had to pay for parking which i think should have been free since we are guest at the hotel.

I requested for an early check-in. I was there at 3 pm. and was not given a room until 4: 20 pm. After an 11 hour trip from Connecticut , I was exhausted and very tired . The clerk , Monique , was on the computer and seemed to be confused and couldn't give me a room even after half an hour of being told that one was available on the 6th floor. Only after consulting with Daniel ( maybe a supervisor) was I given one on the 14th floor after I complained that this was no way to treat a customer. It was supposedly an upgrade ( the room was nice and clean ) and to appease me and make up for the delay and inconvenience, my parking fee was waived . Over all , I can still recommend this hotel to friends bec of its location and quality.

Hotel was very nice. Only 2 glitches were tiny room service portions, and having to pay for parking. However, parking was relatively inexpensive when I compared it to other areas hotels. There is nowhere to walk to, so a car is a must. Restaurant food was very good.

This is a perfect location for my family when we are visiting my parents who live within walking distance. The gym was well equipped and the pool area was nice as well. We loved the choices at breakfast and also enjoyed the outside patio for a nightcap. The only thing was that they could not apply my three day stay(which was two rooms) to their frequent point program because I booked through Expedia. Even when I begged. I probably stay there 10 days a year,so I feel I am a loyal customer.

Hotel was very dated and smelled strongly of air freshener in the hallways assuming to mask some smell in the air. Room was full of dust and there are no top sheets on the bed only a comforter unless requested. Outdoors was full of cigarette butts and there were no ashtrays at entrances except the main entrance. Overall hotel is in need of updating and better housekeeping.

there was a persistent smell of public washroom spray in the hallways that was over-powering. There is no top sheet so unless you want to share an unwashed comforter with many past guests, go ahead. Apparently, this is standard practice. Nasty. Using the fridge actually costs and the internet is very slow.

Stayed overnight to participate in the Mississauga Marathon. My main focus was rest. The room was a nice size with a couch & a desk. The bed was ok & comfortable enough, but the thermostat seemed to have a limit installed - it wouldn't get as cold as I was hoping, so the room was too warm & stuffy for me. I found an item left over from a previous guest in my room. That was disappointing as it leaves cleanliness questions. The pool/fitness centre was fantastic This was my second time staying in this hotel. Although it's not an official race hotel - enough people choose to stay there due to the proximity of the start line. It would be nice to see some extra services for the runners.

I was there for only one night. Service was prompt and the staff were professional and courteous. The fluorescent lighting in my room, by the bed was not really to my taste, but I was there just to sleep and leave the next day so it didn't really bother me much on the grand scheme of things. Literally, steps away from Square One mall.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have been pleased. Unfortunately I have never stayed during a time when I had to turn on the heat or the air-conditioning. During this stay I had to turn on the heat and they have the old style heaters with compressors and the noise was so loud that I didn't sleep for my entire stay. I stayed 4 nights. I advised the hotel manager and the good news is that they did everything in their power to make me comfortable. I looked at three other rooms and all the rooms had the same noisy heating system. They offered me a free breakfast to compensate but that didn't help the fact that I did not sleep the entire time which made my week filled with meetings very very long. The maintenance man that came up to take a look at the unit told me that he couldn't do anything and that the hotel will be replacing the units with more modern units hopefully soon. I will not stay here again until the units are replaced. The hotel was clean, the restaurant is good and the service and employees are amazing.
