HOTEL REEM - London

The hotel is in most respects satisfactory. But beware room 10. It is sold as a standard single but it isn't. The toilet and shower (separate rooms) are down a flight of stairs. They are not shared with anyone else and have locks on them. This is a major inconvenience. It is the only room that is set up this way. Whoever checks in last is stuck with […] it. After two nights I was switched to another room, which was fine (small, cramped, typically London). But room 10 is simply false advertising. Room was really small with no fan or air conditioning. Whole hotel has one Iron and you have to keep borrowing it. Receptionists are not exactly polite.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was extremely small. There was not enough room for anything but the bed. Due to it's size there was not a desk or dresser. Paint was also coming off one of the walls and the bathroom had dry rot damage that needed to be repaired. Spend your money somewhere else.

This hotel is on a nice little square and very close to the underground, shopping, and food. Rooms where small (as to be expected at this price in London) but clean. Staff is very nice and arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport since there was a transit strike. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Stayed at the Reem Hotel in London. Hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to the Bayswater Underground close to the Kennington Palace. It is 3/4 of a mile to Paddington Station. It is conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping. Staff were very helpful and friendly .You have the choice of a full English or continental breakfast for an added charge. We […] initially had room #28 and it was tiny with a single double bed. Hardly enough room for 2 people to move around in. However, it backed onto the park and was very quiet. If assigned this room, ask to change as there was a strong sewar smell in the bathroom and we had to keep the bathroom fan running continuously. We managed to change to room #26 for our last night (also backing onto the park). This room was larger and had 2 single beds in it and most importantly didn't have the sewar smell. Overall, this hotel was on par with others in the area. We like this area as it is close to Paddington Station to catch the train to Heathrow. This hotel offered a shuttle bus service to heathrow for 14 GBP per person which is much more convenient and cheaper than using the train. Read more

Fint hotel. Du får hvad du betaler for....!!!! Meget små rum. Vi boede med en baby, men de var søde at låne os en babyseng. Den fyldte dog en del, så der var ikke meget plads, men i godt vejr, og når man nu er i London, hvad skal man så lave på et hotelværelse. ;-) Vi spiste ikke morgenmad på hotellet, da der er så mange fine caféer og morgenmadssteder […] i området, der måske er lidt billigere. Ofte gik vi bare i Hyde Park med en sandwich. Men det er en smagssag. Hotellet ligger super perfekt i et område tæt på et shoppingcenter, gode restauranter, 2 undergrunde, butikker, Hyde Park, Portobello rd. Vil klart anbefalde dette Hotel, hvis man er 2 på tur, eller med en baby..... Så længe man ikke er så kritisk med standard, plads, men er kommet til London for at nyde byen, og ikke hotellet. L'hotel è piccolo ma pulito ed è stato appena ridipinto all'interno. Avevamo la stanza n.45 (4° piano) che era piuttosto piccola e essenziale. Il letto matrimoniale era del tipo "francese" (140 cm di larghezza) ed risultava un po piccolo per dormirci in 2, tuttavia materasso e rete erano in ordine. La stanza è dotata di bagno indipendente con doccia. […] Una piccola TV a tubo catodico appesa , asciugacapelli e bollitore per l'acqua completano la dotazione della stanza. La zona in cui si trova l'hotel è meravigliosa, tranquillissima e piena di locali per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche. La colazione non è compresa e viene offerta a 7 pound ma consiglio di arrangiarsi all'esterno in quanto ci sono tantissimi bei locali da provare. La connessione wi-fi è disponibile a 2 pound all'ora ed un PC è disponibile alla reception se non si dispone del proprio. L'hotel è molto essenziale ed è perfetto per chi non ha grandi aspettative e soprattutto per chi non pensa di trascorrere molto tempo in stanza. Facile da raggiungere (5 min a piedi) con il metro sia con la linea rossa (Nothing Hill Gate) che con la gialla/verde (Bayswater). Read more

Clean and nice hotel. not too expensive, Rooms a bit small, but we needed nothing more than a bed and a tv. Friendly helpful staff. goes on my list of 'ok' hotels. But Especially the location is great, considering the price of the hotel. Located near the circle line (3minutes walk to Bayswater station) and the central line (6minutes walk to Queensway […] station) we were in the city in no-time. This was very important to us, because we didn't want to change 4 times to go to our destination, and wanted to be within 30 minutes travelingtime. Both were achieved easily. Supermarkets close aswell (we bought our own breakfast) and a lot of giftshops. We didn't use the breakfast of the hotel, you can save a lot if you buy it yourself. If you want an easy vacation, and not spend too much, but don't want to sit in a very-cheap far-away hotel, i would sincerely recommend the Reem. Read more
