Jumeirah Beach Hotel - Dubai

Wonderful experience at Jumeriah Beach Hotel from check-in to check-out and airport transfer. Everything was first class and we absolutely received what we paid for and then some! I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dubai.

The employees go overboard being of service...and they are all smiling. My husband lost his money clip in the car the airport sent for our airport pickup...they tracked the driver down and got his money back...we tippede him well! Sadly, I don't think that would happen in the States. The hotel amenities are more than you would ever expect....the free […] golf cart/buggy ride down to the Medina/Souk should not be missed. Beautiful at night and most of the merchants were really kind. They actually like bartering a bit! Mnay greta restaurants, and the dhow ride shouldn't be missed. The wadi water park was fun for a quick run though each ride...but didn't need to do any of them twice...then again we're not kids! Don't bother ordering a tropical alcoholic drink at the beach...not worth the $$$, but the beach is lovely. ENJOY! Read more

JBH is still a world class resort, which surprisingly is also very child-friendly. I would gladly return and stay there in future. Access to wild wadi and the private beach is a big bonus!

If your traveling with family this is agreat hotel. Having free access to the water park next door is a plus. But even if you are there on business the hotel is great. Nice beach and pool. I will stay here again and bring my family with me next time!

The hotel needs a major overhaul. The decor is tired and dated. I did not get the room I ordered in that I ordered a double and got a twin . They promised to change the bed when I checked in. After a week they had not. I should have complained but I did not have the energy as I was on a very busy work schedule. The food is very expensive eg 30 Euro […] for breakfast. 55 Euros for a ruined steak and two beers and generally just OK. Some things were awful like the chicken burger for 18 Euros at the pool, it was horrible. The arabic grill was though very nice Up to the weekend the service was all excellent then with the extra volume it just fell away. I waited 30 mins fo a menus at the pool with a client then 45 mins more to get my order taken. On the good side the staff were all nice. Lots of cold lollies being given out. Service in the uptown bar on the roof was excellent. My colleague lost his credit card and the concierge did a fantastic job finding it. So good on him. Our experience was fantastic and we had a very nica stay there. They give us a marvelous room with a view to the Marina and Burj Al Arab. We almost cant sleep looking that beautiful landscape over the Gulf. It's was a unique experience be there and we recommend this hotel for everyone.

We were fortunate that the breakfast was included as the price was high. Breakfast was 4 different buffets of different varieties & could be considered early lunch. There is so much activities on the property to fill your day. Highlight was the Gym especially complimentary classes of Yoga; Balance; Body weights; RPM. The Jumeriah Beach Hotel is located in a perfect area of Dubai, which consists of beach resorts, restaurants, and shops. Jumeriah is located next to the Burj Al Arab and guests of the hotel can take a golf cart ride over to the Burj and other sister properties. The hotel didn't tell us that we could take boat rides for free to Jumeriah's sister properties […] such as the Mina Salam, but that is definitely an added value. I thought the service was impeccable from everyone I encountered during my stay. The room was an ocean view room and very comfortable and spacious.I had the best sleep ever in the bed which is probably the most comfortable I have slept in. The gym was first rate.

Views of the resort, beach, sea & the Burj truly amazing. I had a balcony room & slept with the door open listening to the waves. amazing !!! Beyond that, the hotel is exceptionally well appointed, so why not rate it higher .? 1) Hotel is luxururious, but lacking in the bedrooms. Design/layout is ok but not imaginative or particularly stylish. "Very […] good" but not "Excellent". 2) I had non smoking room but was greeted by a faint smell of stale cigarettes on the bedsheets & pillow cases. They were clean but clearly the previous user was a smoker - minor housekeeping issue. 3) Breakfast is expensive, but is so generous in terms of choice & quality of food, I dont think anyone can complain. Eat enough here & you wont need lunch so it seems incredibly good value. 4) Service generally was 5*. However being a single traveller seated at a table for breakfast & systematically having the spare chairs & place settings removed from around you to accomodate larger tables, is a massive no-no in my book. 1 chair ok .. 2 ok if there is an emergency.. but the last remaining chair .. REALLY ..??? where am I ..a small bar in Marseille .? Had I not given the waiter a "Dare Stare" I would have been left with 1 chair...the one I was sat on. 5) Blackberry charger. I lost mine & found that the hotel has only 1 charger in the Business Centre with a queue for it. Come on guys, how many of your guests carry Blackberry/mobiles these days .? Hotel is great with free access to wild wadi water park which can be very expensive if you stay elsewhere and pay for entrance. the only downside is the cost of food is a little expensive. Would thoroughly recommend it if you can afford it.

Our holiday was wonderful from the minute we arrived. We were met at the airport by a hotel rep and driven to the hotel in a lovely car. At checkin at the Exec club area we were sat down to breakfast whilst being checked in. Then, even though it was only 9am we were taken to a room to use until our own was ready about midday. With a trip into Wild Wadi each morning with our 11 year old son, which was great fun. It opens to hotel guests at 10am, an hour before the public We did a dining option which was recommended to us by friends as you can eat in any of the restaurants at Jumeirah Beach hotel or the two sister hotels up the beach.
