"Beautiful Lobby. Comfortable room. I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a one night deal from Hotels.com for this Hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Really good hotel in great location. Cool bar if pricey for drinks. Recommended.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Worth a visit"
Had a great stay. All the staff were excellent, proffesional and friendly. Hotel is very cool. Nice bar downstairs - pricey drinks but in keeping with everywhere else. Our room was superb & amazingly quite ! The location is fantastic - just off Covent Garden, so it's just round the corner from everything but also in a nice quiet spot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Always my first choice hotel in London. A stylish, modern hotel with professional, polite staff in an ideal central location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great romantic treat"
Amazing service and attention to detail made a special surprise even better. Definitely not the cheapest hotel around but really worth it. Felt looked after and welcomed and the little touches to ensure the stay was perfect really made the differenceGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great service, good location"
The hotel staff was exceptional - opening doors, giving directions, etc. Room was always clean when I returned and the lit candle in the bathroom was a nice touch. Only (minor) issue was the wake-up call button was broken on my room telephone, so I needed to call the reception desk, who then transferred me to the wake-up call line. Overall, a great […] place to stay and hope to come back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Plain block hotel on outside, beautiful inside"
We were very pleased overall with our stay at the hotel. It was bright and clean and the location was perfect for busy nightlife and within easy reach of shopping and tube station. I did have reservations that the standard room would be tiny but it was spacious for both of us. We didnt have hotel breakfasts, instead dining at Cotes next door where the […] breakfasts were superb. The light bar at the hotel is extremely pricey but not surprising - two drinks totalled £20. All staff were professional and friendly. I pleasant change from the old fashioned London hotels. Would stay again without question. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Bathrooms were very nice and lobby and bar were impressive but rooms were too small and bed was very hardGenuine Expedia guest review
"Stylish hotel for a couples"
I had stayed here before but it has been about 4 years or more. The hotel staff were fantastic. Very welcoming instead of the "we are so cool" attitude you get in cool hotels like St Martins Lane. The room was great. Small, but it is central London. Decor was great. No noise from the street. Had a drink in the bar after our show. Super friendly staff […] again. A little more than wanted to pay for our trip to see a show in London but worth every penny particularly as they upgraded room for no extra cost. Excellent choice and definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Location Location Location it is."
The Hotel was great but unfortunately there was no stair access within the hotel and one of our guests had a phobia of lifts. On new years eve upon our return there were some yobs hanging around the entrance outside to the stairs which scared our guest.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect hotel for city break"
Upgraded upon arrival to a beautiful loft room. As soon as we walked in Matt from front desk phoned to make sure we liked it! Fantastic location, attentive staff, beautiful room - can't wait tI visit again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect location for visiting West End"
Room was very quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, very close to Trafalger Square and Convent Garden. Definately recommend if it's you first time in London.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Smart but overpriced"
Quite a swanky hotel but expected slightly moor for the price, although the location was fantasticGenuine Expedia guest review
"Lovely spot in Covent Garden"
This is a quirky, but luxurious hotel with all the amenities that you would need. Located on a quiet street near Covent Garden, yet a stones throw to all West End and central attractions. Great service and friendly staff. Worthy of a stay for both business and leisure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hip hotel in the heart of London"
This is a very stylish hotel ( what else could be expected of Phillipe Starck!) situated within 300m of Trafalgar Square, surrounded by theatres and restaurants. The bar has a great atmosphere and the Asia de Cuba restaurant was superb.Genuine Expedia guest review
Everything was perfect. Location, staff, rooms, decor and bar. Would not hesitate to stay there againGenuine Expedia guest review
"What an amazing hotel!"
What an amazing hotel! The staff and service was impeccable and everyone made us feel very special during our stay. We were there for 5 days for my husband's birthday. The location is outstanding, so close to everything. I booked a deluxe king room and it had the most amazing view of Trafalgar Square, The London Eye and The Parliament buildings. I will […] definitely stay at St. Martin's on my next trip to London! We had a fantastic meal on our first night at Asia de Cuba and loved the intimacy of the hotel bar. "Excellent location but very snobbish staff"
my room, although small, was very nice and extremely modern. The only real problem was that the staff seemed to think that they were above everyone and were a bit unfriendly. It is a very young crowd that stays there, and if you are a bit older, they look down at you. Probably would not stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff were friendly and efficient, the beds were comfortable, and the views from our room were over London towards the City and Canary Wharf.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cool hotel for couples"
Fabulous hotel but staff really made it, having stayed at the Sanderson as well would say I preferred St Martins Lane, for location, rooms and attentiveness/friendliness of staff. Particular mention to Deborah on reception & Kim in Asia de Cuba as well as Peter the Bar Tender in the Light Bar.Genuine Expedia guest review
The rate was extremely expensive!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok but I have stayed in better"
When designer becomes limited, I think the hotel is laid back and stylish but this should not mean you lose the basics of hospitality. Don't think I will be back room was very sparse and looked with its full height windows onto another building and office. Location is great I would save your money for local amenities and pay less for a hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"friendliest staff in London"
a room reservation doesnt guarantee a table in the Light Bar!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Location in the West End"
When I am in London, I always stay at St. Martins Lane. The rooms are modern and well appointed, and the staff are very professional. I particularly enjoy the lobby bar !Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff, food and room were great. Watch out for the room numbers on the floor though, as it took us a while to find our's :-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed 3 nights in total, great location, around the corner from leicester square which is perfect for those on business and leisure alike. I liked the fact the the rooms are full of quirky features such as lighting and many of the gadgets like an ipod dock which is always welcomed, though wireless internet access was not free like many other hotels, […] also no coffee/tea facilities provided for those mornings needing a quick coffee before leaving the hotel. Upon arriving I was given a voucher for a free drink at the bar which was a great touch, though upon reaching the bar that night it only extended to certain spirits and not whisky which I was looking forward to, though to be fair they did stock a huge selection of drinks. I ate one night in the hotel restaurant, I had mixed feelings about it, the quality of the food and menu was great, there was also no issue with time, the food arrived very quickly, however the lack customer service was shocking, too much haste and not enough personal touch, my waiter whilst placing my glass of wine on my table began to have a conversation and ask the guests on the table beside me a question about their meal, with no eye contact whatsoever with me, frankly the price of that glass of wine alone should have warranted a sentence or two with me prior to moving on, the food may be five star but the service in the restaurant is poor, in my opinion time to get a few qualified in the art of customer service and customer experience as relying on the quality of the food alone does not make a restaurant. Overall I would probably stay again on the strength of location alone, though I would not visit the restaurant again due to the the lack of customer service, either further training is needed or a complete overhaul of the service staff with a team trained in the customer service skills to be expected at any top restaurant. Apart from this one area the staff across all the other areas of the hotel are exceptional. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel St-Martins Lane close to Covent Garden"
Very nice hotel, perfect service, very clean and sunny rooms, perfect location, the only "bad" point is that the romms are kind of small, but I still recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Been staying here for years. Always excellent. Location is fantastic.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Trendiest hotel in London"
I have been staying at St Martins Lane for many years now. The Asia de Cuba salad from the restaurant is worth the visit alone. It's definately the place to be seen!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"I like such type of hotel"
In the elevator, we can here nice music, and interior and design of room and reception area are so good. Cuban restraunt is not so good, but if you ask the concierge, they answer anything. I really recommend anybody.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location and service"
This was an excellent hotel, the location is so amazing we did not have to use the tube all weekend. They also let us have a late checkout for free and then held the bags till we were ready to get our train. The staff were really helpfull and friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"There is better out there!"
Guest can take advantage of the next door Gymbox, providing access to hotel guests, Gymbox is a full fledge gym with great professional trainers. Even by NYC or London standards, this hotel's room rate is too expensive for the room size; there is about 24 inches of ‘free space’ around the bed, hard to walk around the room beyond 1 occupant, extremly […] limited closet space. Beyond a very comfortable bed, the rooms are poorly equipped with unpractical desk and chair. The night life within the hotel’s walls is not happening , fine for one early cocktails before dinning out or clubbing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked this hotel for my CEO at the last minute as his original accommodation couldn't facilitate him for the first night. He was so impressed, the original booking was cancelled and he returned to St Martin Lane for the rest of his trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"slow front desk"
This is a typical example of a slow front desk. The desk lady is very nice and takes her time with her customers which is great when it's your turn, but really irritating when you are 3rd in row. The front desk is too small and they lack of staff. They could't find my online booking so I paid again and then had to reclaim my 1st payment over the phone […] with this site (I hope I got it back). By the way the websites discount code wasn't working at the booking either. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Does Not Get Much Better Than This"
Ever wonder what it would be like to experience what excellent customer service was meant to be from top to bottom.....stay here. Want to be in the heart of London where you can walk to almost anything...stay here. Looking for a unique boutique hotel that is different from the traditional floral walls and grey paint...stay here. Are you interested […] in knowing what a traveler should experience in all facets of hotel stay....this is the place. I would suggest who you should speak to at the hotel to insure you have a great time, lots of fun, and get fantastic local suggestions on food, entertainment, and night life........but it really does not matter who you talk to. They are all knowledgeable and fantastic. Well done St. Martins. "I'll be back". Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel - GREAT LOCATION!"
My wife and I are in our early 40's and we just came back from an extended weekend without the kids in London. We loved the location of this hotel because of it's close proximity (walking distance) to many of the top "things-to-do" sites that the guide books suggest a tourist would want to visit. Also very close to many pubs & restaurants of virtually […] every cuisine and great shopping nearby too in Covent Garden vicinity. The hotel itself is very modern/contempoarary in it's style. The rooms are on the small side but still comfortable. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. There is a world class restaurant (Asia de Cuba), a nice bar, and a full-on gym (no extra charge) located right in the hotel. I would stop short of rating this a 5 star hotel - it's not the Four Seasons but definitely would give it a 4+ star rating. Would definitely go back! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"St Martins Lane Hotel - Great Service"
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Normally when I've been to London on business/pleasure I've stayed near Marble Arch, I found this location much better. "Stylish but noisey"
The St Martin's Lane Hotel is a hip, designer hotel that gives a great first impression. Overall my exeperience was good ,but the biggest disappointment was the noise. The hotel rooms are very poorly insulated acoustically. I could hear noise from the corridor, from the room overhead and from the bar downstairs until the early hours of the morning.
