Staff was excellent. Located on the banks of river, with a convenient footbridge to walk to the center of town, this was a delightful one night stay over before traveling up to the Top of Europe and Schilthorn.

Close to town and a great small hotel extemely well managed. The setting is beautiful on the river. The staff was all very helpful and polite. I've paid a lot more for a room and received a lot less. Breakfast was very good and the free computer was a bonus. I highly recommend this hotel if you don't need an elite six star venue.

Very nice setting along the river, quiet, away from city noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, good cheeses and breads along with a variety of other items. Free wi-fi in the rooms and lobby and it was a plus to have the mini-refrigerator in the room. 15 minute walk from either train station.

We have been living in Europe for 2 years and have traveled all over this region. Our stay at the Goldey Swiss hotel was the most amazing experience we have had so far in Europe. From the moment we walked in the door with our 11 month old son, the hotel staff was nothing but smiles. Our room was excellent with a beautiful view of the Alps, and there […] was even a personalized hand-written welcome note on our pillow. The staff had already placed the baby bed in our room, and even had a baby towel and wash cloth hanging in the shower for him. The hotel is in the best location (in my opinion) to walk alongside the river through Interlaken. The food was very well prepared and the staff was very attentive to our table. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to travel to Interlaken. We will definitely stay here again before we leave Europe. Read more

Lovely location on the river & a short walk to either train station. The hotel is very very clean & recently renovated. It is compact though & I would have liked the bathroom & in particular the shower to be a tad larger as it is very small. Staff are very helpful, the room is quiet & the food is good.

A lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The only criticism I have is that the bathroom was a bit inadequate in as much as it was small and there was no room to put anything. I would certainly recommend this hotel to people and hope to return myself at sometime in the future. Also the location was excellent.

It is an incontrovertible fact of life that Switzerland is horrendously expensive - and the Goldey Swiss Hotel is no exception. The included breakfast was a good start to the day with the choice of hot food and the cold buffet. All in all we were very happy with our choice of hotel and would happily return. We received a warm welcome on arrival and found the hotel staff very helpful throughout our three night stay. The hotel is next to the river Aare with direct access to the riverside footpath for access to the town centre and public transport - 10 minutes walk. The room was clean and in good condition with plenty of space. Breakfasts were excellent - possibly the best in our week long Swiss trip. A set menu is offered in the evening which represented good value but we chose to eat elsewhere. A nice touch is the complimentary afternoon tea and cake. We had good weather during our stay with views through to the Jungfrau. However, somebody did allow a multi-storey hotel to be built in the town centre and while it does spoil a little what would otherwise be a perfect view. Read more

My wife and I stayed for a week at the start of July. We had a nice room (305) facing the Jungfrau and river and it was worth the extra money for this view alone! View was slightly spoiled by the large tower block in Interlaken which some town planner should be shot for, but otherwise great. Breakfast was available from 6:30 to 10:00 so plenty of options […] for the early or late riser. Usual continental fare, plenty of fresh bread and cheese and meats. Fruit and the usual cereals together with a small hot option of scrambled eggs sausages and mushrooms/tomatoes. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant and thankfully spoke English a lot better than I speak German (or French). Location is good too, a short walk to the main street in Interlaken across the footbridge outside the Hotel or a stroll along the promenade to Interlaken Ost station or the other way through Unterseen to Interlaken West. Even strolling it only takes around 15 minutes to get from the hotel to anywhere you need to be in Interlaken. A little bonus was that if you were back early to the hotel in the afternoon there was free Coffee and cake in the lounge from around 3 -5. Very nice for putting the calories back on after a good walk. Upgraded rooms with mountain view are worth it. Read more

To book a cheaper room, we choose the mountain view side, not the side to the Alps. However, the view is still good. Our room is in 2nd floor and there is a small carpark downside, so the curtains should be closed. The room is reasonably sized and can accommodate two persons and two luggage bags. The receptionist is nice and in good English. They also […] sell tickets to the top of Europe and provide useful information like the departure time of last train from the top of Europe. The breakfast is also good with both fried eggs and boiled eggs. The hot chocolate is good too. The view outside the breakfast area is extremely nice with swans in the river, the Alps, flowers, trees and different kinds of cartoon-liked houses. The location, may be the only one of the shortages of the hotel. It's around 20 minutes walk from the train station Interlaken West and around 30 minutes walk from Interlaken Ost. There are no trams or buses passing through the Hotel. Overall, I would rank it as recommended. Read more

The hotel was a great play to stay. It's within easy walking distance of the center of Interlaken but far enough away that you can enjoy the views without being distrubed by any town noise. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Ost駅から遠いかなと不安だったが、川を挟んだ立地条件は、部屋から見た景色を見て納得、満足妥協できる距離です。なんと言ってもユングフラウ山が部屋から正面に見える。 部屋のライトの位置が気になる人には武士区感じるみたいです。 日本のNHKのテレビが映ります。 絶対に川沿いユングフラウが見える部屋をとるしかないホテルです。 泊まるだけで良いという人は、West駅前のユースホステルにしなさい。 午後2時から5時の間はフリードリンクとケーキ、食べ放題です。

Am Hotelservice gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Frühstück ist gut, wenn auch täglich gleich. Die Hotelfenster lasen sich nicht klappen und die Bäder sind etwas klein, aber trotzdem sind die Zimmer gut. Le seul hic peut-être, c'est qu'on ne contrôle pas la température des chambres. On peut cependant ouvrir la porte patio pour laisser entrer l'air. Les douches sont très efficaces.
