This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times have been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The location is quiet but no more than a five minute walk from Juan Les Pins shopping and restaurant area. It is an old style French hotel but the rooms I have been in have been very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here with our three kids for business/vacation for a week. The hotel is beautiful, and clean, and the staff were helpful and kind to the children. The "boys' room" was spacious, but the "girls' room" had two "princess beds" with blue draperies and pink lace reading lamps -- amazing. We did not get the hotel breakfast, but there is a boulangerie directly behind (one block) the hotel with great French breakfast items. If you are feeling flush, Petrossian (two blocks behind the hotel) also has breakfast. Highlights for the kids were the multiple pieces of sea glass (aka "diamonds" and "emeralds") on the rocky beach, the 40,000 BC human footprint at the Terra Amata museum, the try-it-on Roman helmet at the Roman ruins at Ciminez, the many "smell it" displays at the perfume museum in Grasse, Josephine's crown at the Massena museum, the guinea pig house at Parc Phoenix, and the playground on the castle hill. We took the public bus everywhere and the French people were so nice to us (it helps to speak a little French, but we limped along and they were very patient.) Hotel staff almost always spoke English better than my French. Deserving of more than five stars, if we could give them.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay after reading some of the negative comments. I enjoyed my stay, loved the neighborhood and was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I will definitely stay next year for the Cannes Film Festival!

I recently had to travel to Cannes for business and after looking around through expedia i found this hotel which all looked good from the out look. it is called the Palace Hotel and has 4 stars!!!. all looks very good, however this was one of the worst hotels i have been too. in order to explain i am going to break down the experience into different […] catergories. Arrival i arrived at the hotel at 20:30 on saturday night to find i was locked out of the hotel as the doors wouldnt open. after waiting for 5 minutes i eventually got let in. check in was nice and simple and got my key quickly. on my second night when i got back to the hotel at 20:00 i was locked out for 20 minutes as nobody was there to let me in Room the room was clearly decorated in the 70's and hasnt changed since. everything just felt dirty and the air conditioning unit was so loud it kept me awake, but i needed it on to stay cool facilities both the restaurant and bar were shut the 2 nights i stay so i had to find another place to eat and drink in the evening. staff in my whole 2 night stay i only saw 2 staff employees and no ither guests!!!! it was like a ghost town and felt very uncomfortable. the staff were nice but had to keep apologising for all the errors check out upon checking out i found that i had been charged for watching 2 movies at 20 euros each even though the tv didnt work. overall very disappionted and when i go to cannes next year will find somewhere else Read more

The hotel is in a bit of a state. The lobby is all right, but the facade is peeling. I could imagine the regular rooms might be pretty awful. But the prestige apartment was really pretty good actually. Personeel van het Cannes Palace was zeer behulpzaam en service gericht. De inrichting van de goedkope kamers is gedateerd. Het was zeer aangenaam in dit hotel te verblijven. Het Cannes Palace ligt zeer centraal ten opzichte van boulevard en winkelgebied.

Das Hotel sieht zwar von aussen nicht nach dem aus was man gebucht hat, jedoch ist die Innensusstatung sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls schön. Das Hotel liegt 3 Gehminuten vom Strand enfernt. Bedienung ist freundlich. Eigentlich gab es nichts auszusetzten an diesem Aufenthalt im Hotel cannes palace

Vieux, délabré, sale, pas accueillant, triste.....etc. Bon, pour dépanner une nuit tout au plus; et en sachant que votre porte monnaie va en prendre un sacré coup par rapport à la prestation. A éviter si on peut.

Hotellet burde kun have 3 stjerne - det fremstår ret slidt i hjørnerne. Desuden finder jeg det helt urimeligt, at man skal betale næsten 30 euro i døgnet for WIFI og at det så endda kun kan bruges til een PC.

Hotel in pessimo stato manutentivo: muri scrostati, vasca da bagno con rivestimento interno che si staccava, alcune piastrelle del bagno scollate, le ventole di aspirazione nel wc e nel bagno non funzionavano, assenza di stipiti intorno alle porte, il balcone era in stato pietoso, frigobar praticamente vuoto. Dieses Hotel verdient die 4 Sterne definitiv nicht, da: Zimmer nur mässig sauber, Zimmereinrichtung veraltet und etwas abgenutzt, Wände sehr geräusch-durchlässig, meistens waren trotz Hinweis zuwenige Frotteetücher im Raum, an unserem Ankunftstag funktionierte kein einziger Lift (!), d.h. wir mussten alle unsere Koffern die Treppe hoch schleppen (!!), […] und während ganzer Dauer unseres Aufenthalts von 4 Tagen war 1 Lift permanent ausser Betrieb. Gute Lage nahe an der Croisette und freundlicher Empfang. Over-all entspricht es in etwa einem 3-Sterne Hotel, wofür der Preis jedoch etwas hoch ist. Read more

service horrible: plats commandés en room service ne correspondant pas à la carte, accueil froid et désagréable état de la chambre: dégradé et mal entretenu, propreté passable car nous avons retrouvé une conserve de paté en dessous du lit datant de plusieurs mois!!!c'est inadmissible pour un hôtel dit 4 étoiles!

Don't let the lobby fool you! This hotel needs to be renovated. Good location, just 3 min. walk to the Croisette. Great price. Always parking on the street. Everybody tried to do their best. Hôtel très bien situé. A 5min à pied de la croisette, on peux alors laisser sa voiture garer dans la rue (gratuite) et se balader à pied. Hôtel propre et entretenu. En revanche, bémol sur les chambres. Elles sont très propres aucuns problèmes la dessus mais elle n'était pas conforme aux photos. plus vieillotte et moins moderne.
