Came to Fresno for the inaugural CCAA Championship water polo tournament. Made the reservation on hotels dot com earlier that morning prior to check-in on a Saturday and got a great room. comfortable beds, clean, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff. Easy back and forth to location.

Great location close to shopping, highways, restaurants. Since there is a kitchen in the room, the Von's market close by is a plus. Kitchen is nicely sized with oven and microwave and a freezer in the fridge. Work space for business travelers has a lower height desk area unlike most hotel room desks. Overall the neighborhood was good for Fresno. The room was clean but very small with limited space. The room doesn't look like the picture on hotels.com. The couch, bed, and kitchen are all cramped together. For what I paid I would have stayed in a different place.

I love this hotel and I will probably stay here again when I am in Fresno. I wish that the workout room on site had more to offer, but guests do have the option of going to a nearby Bally Fitness Club while staying at the premises. My room was spotless. Loved having a kitchenette.

This is our second stay at the Townplace by Marriott. We were in town to look for housing. This second time around seemed even better than the first. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean and there is a full kitchen with refrigerator, dinnerware and electric stove. Breakfast bar has a good variety - not just the run of the mill […] sweet packaged pastries - but a nice selection of healthy, tasty items. Price is good for the amenities and service. This hotel had great accommodations and was perfect for me, my wife, our 8 months old baby, and our dog. We had every necessary appliance in our room and our own kitchen. The hotel refunded us a room we didn't need on the spot and even gave us a late checkout.

My mother was in the Hospital, I didn't know for how long. Originally booked for 1 night, then extended 2 more, (via hotels.com) without the usual hassle of having to check out and then back in. i stayed here with my son and his wife and their 6 week old baby. we loved our room. it was nice to have a kitchen fully stocked with everything you need! the store in the lobby had meals you could microwave. the workers were all very polite and helpful. we went to a ballgame at chukchansi park about 10 to 15 minits away and got home about 11:00 p.m. […] I wanted to use the spa but the gates were locked. I asked the guy at the desk why it was locked and he said it was closed. I told him my back hurt so bad and he unlocked it for me, that was sweet. The only thing i wish is that they would have made the bed on the pull out couch. i had to put the sheets on and i was so tired after the hot tub. they knew it was 3 adults and a baby, so i think they should have prepared the couch bed for use but I loved it and would stay again! Great location! Room layout was excellent! Very comfortable! Pretty view out window of huge tree! Color scheme was contemporary and warm! Kitchen was the perfect size! Nice sized bathroom! Really good breakfast selection! Nice staff!

Not easy to "spot" from the road,(look for IHOP), nor was reception that clearly marked. Room very good with large "Kitchenette" area. We wished to dine out but there were few restaurants to choose from. Breakfast very basic in the hotel though this was advertised as "Grab and Go" which it certainly was!
