The room could use a make-over or a really good clean. Had a King room and it didn't matter as I was alone but the bathroom sink was in the bedroom and not the bathroom which I really hate when traveling with someone. Breakfast is neither included nor is it any good. There's a Starbucks across the street though. The hallways have a musty smell to them […] and the maid did not clean my room during my stay. I don't think this was originally a Doubletree property. The rooms were small and the bathroom was inferior to most Doubletrees. While I like a "shower only" set up, this one was inferior. Among other things, the door did not close. What's more, there were several "events" in the hotel and the place rocked all night long. People were coming out of their […] rooms shouting about the noise. As a frequent user of the Doubletree line, I have come to expect a certain level of service, quality of property, comfort of room, etc. This one disappointed on almost every level. When I returned to my room on the second afternoon, the room had not been made up. I called the desk and spoke to the housekeeper on the hall. They both assured me the room would be taken care of. Never happened. A friend was staying in a room on another floor and had the same experience. The gentleman who checked me in on Friday afternoon was first rate -- pleasant, helpful, kind. The woman who checked me out on Sunday could have cared less about my stay, was barely civil, and just wanted me out of there. Read more

I would stay there again. Comfortable, clean, uptodate, room service option, late check out option, front staff gave good restaurant recommendations, and very convenient (especially with a high quality coffee store across the parking lot). Some fixtures needed the help of a level but not an eye sore. Not 100% quiet but pretty good.

The hotel is in a great location. The problem I had was the size of the room. Bathroom extremely small and not much to the hotel. It is compact! But I guess for the price it is decent.

This place was a total relief. It was lovely, clean comfortable. Surrounding neighborhood was just hotels and a walmart. 30 minutes north of Atlanta. It was perfect.

Everything was nice at the Hilton Doubletree. If you book via Hotels.com they won't give you Hhonors points. Our room had a pocket door to the bathroom, this is not really that great. Had a great time. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. And, of course, the cookie was yummy! Set in a quiet, suburban area near a huge selection of restaurants, stores, etc. Easy to get into and out of, near the interstate and lots of parking.

I was disappointed to find out that the continental breakfast was not complimentary, with several of the nearby hotels providing that service. Also, I was slightly disappointed with some of the staff. Most of the staff had great attitudes, and were very professional, while others seemed to have a poor attitude.

My girlfriend and I needed a getaway trip for the weekend and we chose Atlanta so we could see the Aquarium and visit several other attractions. Although Alpharetta was North of Atlanta and we live East of Atlanta, it was very much so worth the 20 minute drive out of the way to stay at the DoubleTree. Loud and scary fire alarm went off at 9am Sunday morning. Freaked us out and was so loud that instead of sleeping in we just got dressed quickly and checked out. The rooms are small and the bed and pillows are not comfortable. Not the most terrible hotel i've stayed at but would not stay here again.

The lobby is gorgeous. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean but small. I would have preferred a larger bathroom but I did like the walk-in shower just very cramp feeling. This was the only negative I had of my overall stay.

Breakfast should be included for the price. Also, our AC was broken in one of the rooms and no compensation was offered for this. I was disappointed in that. Other than that, good stay! The hotel line I called to order was incorrect about how close the music venue was that we were going to so that was also a huge inconvenience!

I loved the rooms and the service was exceptional!!! I stayed in the 1- king bed room and it was perfect for me. However, the room and bath are on the smaller side but extremely clean and very well maintained. The warm chocolate chip and oatmeal cookie was delicious as always and again, the staff was great!! We had some issues with the television late […] at night and it was fixed immediately. Next morning, we were pleasantly surprised to see breakfast coupons under the door :). We had a very nice stay..enjoyed the free cookies and design of the hotel and lobby. The few things we did notice is that it was small, there were no rooms available with 2 King sized beds or suites and the bathroom didn't have a fan. Also, the breakfast wasn't complimentary. But overall it was a very nice hotel.
