The room was clean, linens were supplied for only 2 guests, although we'd reserved for 3. They did give more, but we had to ask. The hot tub jets were broken for the entire stay and the slide was not operational the first night. Julian, the night clerk was very personable and told us the slide was only open when a life guard was on duty. The pool slide […] was open the second night and the kids loved it. No life guard in sight though.... Breakfast was scant, don't expect any extras. They ran out of fruit loops the first day and never did refill before I left the 3rd day. The breakfast maid was rude and started cleaning up 10 minutes early, closing as she went. She could have offered for anyone sitting there to refill juice/milk glasses if they were intending to. The ice maker was broken on the first floor. The day clerk rudely told me to go to the third floor! They offer free DVD rentals and my children loved that service. Our room had a small fridge in it, although it needed to be defrosted, so the freezer was unusable. We will go back, the price was OK and the location convenient to the Canada's wonderland and the outlet mall adjacent to it. Read more

Hotel seemed aged. No sink in the bathroom. Sink was in the middle of the room.Junior suite. No privacy.Hot tub was out of order. Breakfast room was crowded and messy. Not enough toasters. This hotel was in a good location in North York. How ever, our beds were really old, stained and not comfy st all. The outlets by the coffee maker had burn marks on the outlet cover. We did have a smoking room and you could tell by the need to paint the walls and the very strong smell. Selected this hotel because of the indoor pool and waterslide, Pool was cold, waterslide only open very limited hours, hot tub not working. Room was next to elevators and could hear them all night long. Hole in bathroom door, bathtub tiles were dirty, sticky spots on carpet. Staff were unaccommodating and borderline rude.

Our stay was fantastic. We loved the water slide and the pool was kept clean. Too bad the hotub was not functional! The breakfast was average, the room were it was served was always cold. The stay was good, comfortable and very satisfactory services. Only me comment on two points - The bathroom was in need of maintenance where there is a blockage in the bathtub and a sink in room 322 - Breakfast was a very poor.

it was an OK stay but, the hot tub was out of service and the heater in the room either made the room sufferingly hot so it had to be turned off, then the room would get freezing cold. had to wake up during the night to turn heat on and off.

Came in around 12pm to check in (I know this is early, though I didn't see a big problem since the night before was a snowstorm and it looked like there was no more than 15 cars that had stayed overnight).. Firstly, I was waiting for about 10 minutes before the lady realized I was at the reception desk (includes me loudly saying "Hello?").. I saw her […] approach, bringing her lunch with her to the front (not impressed). I asked if we could check in, and she said it shouldn't be a problem.. Asked for my last name and id, and then let me know that no rooms were available for another hour. I asked her if it would be possible to 1. leave our things in a room for now or 2. switch to another non-smoking room until ours was available. She said no to both options, and just told me I had to be back in an hour. Disappointed. However, she did have everything ready when I came back. The room was tidy, neat and was comfortable. Though the only complaint I have is the heater kept turning on and off, did not stay at a stable temperature. The neighbourhood surrounding is alright, close to the highway (a plus for us) and there is a Tim Hortons and a McDonalds out in front. Read more

We stayed at this Super 8 because, the price was right and it was close to the arena our son's hockey tournament was being held at. We had a room with 2 queen beds. It was not overly spacious, but we managed. The price included a continental breakfast, nothing over the top, but it filled the hunger gap. Bagels, muffins, toast, cold cereal, juice ,tea […] & coffee. No fresh fruit or yogurt. They do have an indoor pool with water slide and hot tub, but unfortunately the hot tub was out of service while we were there. This was kinda of disappointing especially after spending the day in a cold arena. The main lobby was ok, but the temperature in the hallways was very cold, however, the heater in our room worked great. This hotel is not a 5 star by any means, but if you need a place to stay for a couple of days at a good price I would definitely recommend it. The most important thing to me, was the room was clean, and although the beds were not "pillow top mattresses" we all found them very comfortable. Read more

I called the day of to make sure the water slide and pool were up and running because that was our main reason for staying at this hotel for the kids. Very reasonable rates for the area; right next to the 400 yet you couldn't hear a thing. Everything was clean and in working order. The rooms are a little dated but for the price I thought it was in exceptional condition. Great place, would definitely stay again if I needed a room in Vaughan.

It was fine except for the kids running up and down the halls. There must have been a hockey team there with poor chaperones. Beyond that it was great. The receptionist didn't seem to love her job as she was not very warm and hospitable.

After requesting a quiet room at reservation time this was not carried through for two evenings. Loud group of French speaking men with open door and hallway gathering to chat. I suggest telling these group that lounge area or cafe area should be used for this and made aware at check-in. It kept me awake.
