This hotel was very affordable and would definately stay again. We just stayed one night and spent most of our time at a neighboring waterpark but sleeping was very comfortable and the room was clean. Staff was very friendly and they kept the outside area clear of snow. If your looking for a nice place just to sleep at this is the place. Can't beat the price and location.

The hotel was very clean and our room was very nice and comfortable. The resturant in the hotel was very upscale however, a bit to pricey, needed better menu choices and the staff was not friendly at all. Would stay again.

Our group enjoyed your hotel. The breakfast was good and the rooms appeared clean. The whole third floor smelled like smoke though even though the room was a smoke-free room. I were allergic to smoke I would have had to leave the hotel. I would recommend the hotel to others , but let them know about the smoke smell.

We checked in at 8:00pm after a day at a local theme park and upon entering the room assigned to us, there was a horrible smell of damp carpet. I turned on the air conditioner and discovered a dirty pair of socks on the floor next to the a/c controls. I immediately went to the front desk to request a different room and was told the hotel was booked. […] I explained the mildew smell and was told the carpets were recently cleaned. The carpets were damp and the smell was overwhelming due to the room being closed up with no air flow. I went back to the room and was phoned shortly after and moved to another room for my family including 2 kids. I was told the only room available was a single king size. I asked if a roll away bed was available and never received a call back. I took my kids to the pool shortly after and there such chaos with at least 6 teenager playing dodge ball in the pool, I had to keep my 3 year old daughter at the corner of the pool to keep from getting hit with the ball. There were several couples that entered the pool area to swim and left soon after due to the noise level. The front desk was notified but the situation was never addressed and we left the pool area. The facility seemed clean and was reasonably priced. The selection of breakfast items was narrow, but adequate. The jets in the pool weren't working, which probably meant the filtering wasn't happening, but the water was clear and cool. Good value, quiet and clean. Breakfast was you basic cereal and muffins. About 40 min most Lake Erie attractions. Shower curtain was hung too high and has a poor design. Got the floor wet but the staff supplied extra towels to compensate. Not enough bother to keep me from another stay. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Even though it is a little farther then some may want to travel after a day at Cedar Point, I think it was just fine. You have restaurants near you that stay open late enough so that you can get a bite to eat after staying until the park closes. Pool was nice and the front desk folks were very nice as well.

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and curtious. Only a couple of restraunts in Clyde one of which was a breakfast lunch the other two restraunts were Mexican and a Bar/ Grill. My trip was to Cedar Point, hotel was 20 outside which was perfect for distance and cost of hotel. When I go back to Cedar Point I will definitely keep R2I in mind.

The staff was very friendly. However when we went to our room it reaked of smoke. We reserved non smoking. This also put us further away from pool as we requested. Got to pool and it was very cold. Water and pool area. Then I was looking forward to the spa which was broken. Also the exercise equipment was broken. In the morning the breakfast was o.k. […] but the waffle mix was not right. By no means a luxury stay, but a solid lodging nonetheless. No frills. No coffee machine in the room, and had to get an ironing board from the front desk. Nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain about, either. Decent room, decent breakfast, decent price. Great for the business trip we were on.

Hotel was much further away from Port Clinton area than I had anticipated. Rooms were affordable compared to the Labor Day rates at the border. Pool could have been much warmer. Other than that front desk people were very pleasant, hotel was clean, and continential breakfast was satisfactory.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn while in Clyde Ohio for a funeral. It was in February and while there we had a good snow storm. There were several parties from our family at the hotel. We were able to go down and have the free breakfast together. About 20 of us. In the evening of the snow storm they let us use the breakfast room for a family gathering […] where they gave us menu's to order food into the room for our dinner. This was a weekend excursion for the kids, ages 12 and 9. The staff was very nice and helpful. Good Continental breakfast with freshly made waffles and not the frozen kind. The indoor pool was clean and warm. The kids couldn't stay out of it the entire time we were there.

The hotel was clean, offered complimentary continental breakfast, front desk personnel were very friendly. Overall great for the price! The indoor pool, though it was clean and nice was cold.

This is basically exactly what you would expect. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean after we asked them to remove the gunk that had built up around the shower stability railing. The towels are very scratchy and the mattress pad and sheets do not fit the bed. Other than that, the room was clean, we had a microwave and fridge in our room, it […] was in a safe location about 30 minutes from Cedar Point. Also, the price for a night was unbelievable low. My family and I visited this hotel to stay the weekend, and to also go to Cedar Point. The hotel was clean, and had all the ammunites that I was looking for. Hotel was great with friendly service and a great place to crash after a long day Cedar Point amusement park! This place is about 25 minutes from the park so if visiting to do the park just realize it is a bit of a drive.
