ALL staff is very polite and helpfull. They will go out of there way to assist you with any of your needs. I would recomend the Clarion to everyone. On the down side they have renovations going on and restaurant is closed and the front desk is a short distance to the elevators. Stop in and say "HI" the staff will greet you with a smile. I have been here the last 7 weekends and VERY HAPPY...

Situated in the heart of Hartford, Residence Inn By Marriott Hartford Downtown is close to Hartford Stage, Bushnell Park, and Mark Twain House. Also nearby are Trinity College and Hartford Symphony Orchestra.

Stay was very good. But I had one problem and that was they charge u for parking even after u pay for you room
"Good hotel, bad hotels.com booking"
The hotel was great and perfect location for us. Hotels.com booked the wrong room however which was upsetting. I booked a bi level loft but hotels.com booked me a studio suite. Makes me not trust there service at all.
