Day's Inn ws in a great location with restaurants and grocery stores. Room was extremely quiet and bed made it a peaceful and comforting night considering I had a job interview the next day and was quite nervous.

Overall, I would rate my stay as adequate. The various reviews of the hotel implied that it was fancier than it was. The breakfast was pretty good (waffles, ok coffee with flavored creamers, oatmeal, toast & juice). When we arrived the tub had a footprint on the side (I gave it a quick wipe down) and the in-room coffee pot's water resiviour was dirty […] (it just need a good rinse) but the room was fine otherwise. I wasn't happy with the area - except for a Filiberto's (decent Mexican made-to-order fast food), a 7-11, and Fritz's (the bar next door) there isn't anything to do within walking distance after 9pm. And the bar shuts down early if they are slow :( but the bartenders are awesome. Read more

Fridge did not work, replaced on the second day of our stay. Outlet by sink did not work so we could not use the coffeepot or blowdryer. Very weak wireless signal. Good location, nice pool. So-so breakfast. Nice staff. They are one of the few motels that allow large dogs which is why I chose them and would choose them again. There were several other […] guests with large dogs there. Front Desk staff are always outside smoking and not answering the phone! The toilet overflowed twice and the staff was trying to blame us for it happening! They told us if we didn't like it we could check out!!!!

We had a king bed room. Check in time was 3pm but we showed up at 1pm and were given a room right away. Once in the room we noticed the table legs were rickety and one the chairs could not even be sat in due to the the bolts needing to be tightened. The AC worked great except when on low cool it would make a vibrating sound that would wake me during […] night off and on. The remote for TV didn't work. We didn't ask for a new room because it was late when we got eback to sleep and who wants to change rooms at 2am when you just want to out a pillow over your head and sleep. The only hiccup with this hotel was that they 'lost' my Expedia reservation, but that was resolved quickly. The room was big, clean, and pleasant to stay in. One odd thing, they lock the front door/entrance to the lobby, so when I had to check out before breakfast was served, I couldn't get in. We enjoyed our stay at Days Inn, for the time we were there the staff was very accomodating. We received extra help with our airline boarding pass, directions to nearby sites and places with no hasstle. The manager went above and beyond to make our stay such a great one. I understand you get what you pay for... However, this hotel is completely horrific, the front desk was nice enough at check in, but... That all changes when you get settled in... The thermostat knob was broken, and the AC blew stinky moldy air into the room, I got sick as did my husband... The fridge was broken, the microwave worked... TV had no HBO, […] no real channels, mostly sports, and news... The Wall Plug Outlets had no covers on them at the floor level, so I had to puppy proof it, the light switches were busted and broken, and if your lucky, you might hear the joyous noise of small arms gun fire late on the weekends... Had two strange people knock on our door looking to party as well... Laundry facilities were out in open, no security, and as far as perks... Hot water was nice... and bed didn't suck... Like the title says....! This place was nothing less than a dumpy little "Motel". The area was very ghetto like, and a little run-down. What was advertised was totally false about this place. There wasn't even a clock in the room. The fridge was dumpy and wobbly, the bathroom was literally the size of a closet and the door would swing open to hit […] someone if they were at the sink. If you walked from the sink to the main room, you'd slam your toes on the bed platform. Was glad to leave there, and will never stay there again. Very low quality. I was put in the room with not working shower. The shower faucet handle was broken and hanging loose, so it cought me by surprise when I could not take a shower in the morning just before checking out.

Rooms were in good shape and large enough for one night or several nights. Breakfast was pretty good for the price (free), but did not have many choices. Good location in the center of Mesa, AZ and just down the street from the Mesa Arts Center. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Rooms were as clean as they could be for the average condition they were in. The exhaust fan, and the A/C were very noisey, and need to be replaced. Also the shower/tub faucet needs work. They staff was very friendly and accommadating. Breakfast was very good for what we wanted.
